When Americans cast their votes Nov. 3, things may look very different from what we have all grown used to. However, despite all the upheaval of the past year, one thing will hold true: voter turnout will play an absolutely critical role in determining not just the next president, but also who will claim dozens of statewide offices. Unfortunately, one of the groups of voters, in particular, is at risk of being unable to vote safely in person this year.
Older voters traditionally have among the strongest turnout numbers on Election Day. However, with the COVID-19 outbreak still looming, and research still indicating that older individuals

Don't count out the older voter, we value our votes. Also, have you noted how many of the attendees at President Trump's "peaceful protests" are younger people, the ones most severely impacted by previous administrations' anti prosperity, anti American policies? They give me hope that all is not lost

I am 65 and I would never leave my vote in the hands of the postal workers!
My early voting location has a special room for the handicap voters, and any older voters who want to use it.
The voting location will be no more risky than my grocery store, my nursery, my home depot, my church....

They didn’t ask me what I’ll do! I’m one of the older voters, but I figure if I can go to the store and other public places, what’s going to keep me from voting in person! This is the most consequential election I’ve ever voted in!

I'm a 77 year old voting commissioner and most of the 'old' people have figured out this covid scam-demic and will not be afraid to vote. It's the millennial Karen's that are the chicken littles. We fogies know that if it's safe for geriatric politicians and government sponsored funerals, big box shopping, looting and rioting, it's safe for us.

I heard a very similar analysis this morning on Breitbart News on Sirius XM.
The guesr is showing that Pres Trump is trending about 10 points higher in 2020 than 2016 with the Black and Hispanic vote. He's lost some of the suburban soccer moms, but that could come back. Unlike 2016, he's down a couple percent with Seniors vs Biden. That's a group that is most likely to watch any debate, so it's an area if Pres Trump can win back that vote, it should close the gap pretty quickly. The increase in Black and Hispanic voters should negate any loss of the soccer moms.
I'm concerned, however, that may not be good news for Senate and House Republican candidates, especially those who fail to hitch their wagon to the Trump Train.

Baloney! I live in a Senior Retirement community. Everyone I've talked to plans on going to the Polls to vote. All of my friends are close to 80 or over 80 (that includes me). Wild Horses couldn't keep us from showing up, in person, at the polls. Some will wear their Mask and some won't. We're in Florida where our Governor deemed yesterday Masks are not mandated! I think there are folks like us all over the country. Most have voted, in person, all of their life. They will be there on November 3rd. Don't count us out!!

I replied to state email saying I would be willing to be a poll watcher ,I have not heard from them since, also wife and I voted by mail during primary my ballot was ok, wife got a letter saying she voted for the incorrect people, but we voted for same people and are registered the same. I get the feeling something fishy is going on in S. Jersey.

I saw an older voter walking around with a Biden mask on. Should I have screamed at her and ripped the mask off her face because you just know that would have happened if a communist democrap saw an older person wearing a Trump mask.

Most older voters have more working brains that Sleepy Joe had 40 years ago.
