Pelosi: House has 'arrows in our quiver'

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Sunday morning that the House has plenty of options available to delay the Senate from acting on President Donald Trump’s nominees for the Supreme Court.“Well, we have our options,” she said on ABC’s “This Week,” replying to host George Stephanopoulos’ question about whether the House would consider launching impeachment proceedings to block the confirmation of a Trump Supreme Court nomination.“We have arrows in our quiver that I’m not about to discuss right now, but the fact is we have a big challenge in our country. The president has threatened to not even accept the results of the election

Sure like she can rush through another bogus impeachment proceeding because it is time critical for the nation and then sit on it for 6 weeks. Again. Right. Like that was such a good look for her last time. *eye roll* There's nothing the House can do or they'd already be talking about it.

The real attack will be the use of death threats against Amy Barrett and Barbara Lagoa. I'm not sure if a mother of two young children like Lagoa is going to be willing to endure the demonstrations at her house and the torrent of death threats and vandalism that will be directed at her, her family, and even her children. There is a limit to the courage of almost anyone and when it comes to the safety of one's children a mother will always choose in their favor.

We can expect Christine Crazy Ford to once again appear to testify that the nominee, whomever it is, threw her on the bed of an unknown house in an unknown location on an unknown date and tried to do something, not sure what, to her. The memory of this assault is seared in Christine Blasey Ford’s mind as if it happened yesterday, and it might have for all that she knows. If that doesn’t work, Michael Avenatti, AKA Creepy Porn Lawyer, has a witness who attended at least 9 parties where both of the potential nominees were encouraging the future Justice Kavanaugh to have his way with unsuspecting young women who were regulars at these drug parties. If you can’t believe Michael Avanatti, who can you believe? And if these two aren’t enough, LtCol Vindman is standing by to explain how both women offered a quid pro quo to Ukraine in exchange for the nomination.

The crises of 2020 have amplified the debate over the direction of U.S. foreign policy at a chaotic time. Critics who are uneasy with President Trump’s focus on trade, defense commitments, and multilateralism warn of the demise of America’s global leadership role. Supporters, meanwhile, applaud a shift in priorities towards a more self-interested and reciprocal approach that, in their view, can serve to rebalance the post-war legacy of one-sided trade deals and security commitments. As Americans prepare for another presidential election, it’s worth reviewing how U.S. foreign and commercial policies have evolved over the past 244 years. How do the Trump Administration’s current efforts on security, trade, multilateralism,
