Far-left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) threatened that Democrats should consider packing the Supreme Court if Republicans move to fill the seat vacated by the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg. NPR reported that Ginsburg “dictated” the following statement to her granddaughter Clara Spera: “My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed.” “The very last dying wish of RBG was that her vacancy not be filled until the new president takes office in January. That was her dying wish,” Ocasio-Cortez said on Friday.

AOC. Here is reality for you regarding a wish

There is no proof that Justice G. said that. We have to take the word of her granddaughter. I don't believe it. I just wish JRG had retired earlier instead of staying on until her dying day. Now, that was not prudent! She knew Pres. Trump would nominate someone immediately if she died. Go peddle your lies to those too ignorant to know any better.

Every time Ocrazio-Cortez opens that over-sized yap, it's mainly to scream: ''I know I'm a loudmouthed nutjob, but for whatever reason there are some people that think I'm really, really intelligent and important...like the laughable, so-called media.''

If you have ever been at the bedside of someone who is dying it is hard to believe that the person would make such a wish or directive. I think it is incredibly sad (and unbelievable) that your final wish would be about work. What a sad, sad, way to go. It has to be fake news.

After Trump’s re-election maybe he should increase the size of SCOTUS to 13. Then appoint 4 more justices immediately and eventually 2-3 more to replace those who will retire.

Ginsburg knew years ago she was terminal, and she stayed on because she didn't want a Republican President naming a conservative to the bench to replace her. That alone is enough to do just the opposite of what she is suppose to have wanted. No one will ever convince me that she was in the right frame of mind to participate in judgements on the Supreme Court. McCain was the same way. Up until he kicked the bucket, he fought against anything Trump wanted to do. He went out a sore loser with his name along side Benedict Arnold.

We all have wishes and RBG's wish is no more important than anybody else's, especially now. What's that old saying about wishing in one hand and doing something or other in the other?

No, it wasn’t her “very last dying wish”… Those of us who can read know that NPR reported she had “dictated” that to her granddaughter some days before she died. AOC is too dumb to know that the woman was probably morphined to the eyeballs when she died. Pancreatic cancer is a most painful cancer...

OC again points out the fact that she doesn't understand the basic fact that our government and it's institutions are not a Democracy. Our nation and it's governmental institutions are not a Democracy. Our founders in their immense wisdom set up a representative Constitutional Republic. She was elected to represent her small constituency as is the case with each member of Congress. The Constitution was given to us to restrain people like her from running rough shod over the rights of those who she disagrees with. Those rights are not given by men to be taken away at the whim of the mob. They are given by God to be preserved and protected by a Supreme Court rightly deciding cases based on what the Constitution, as now amended, actually says not on what the court or AOC and her mob wish it to say.

“The very last dying wish of RBG was that her vacancy not be filled until the new president takes office in January. That was her dying wish,” Ocasio-Cortez said on Friday.“
That wish and $2.49 will get you a cup of coffee at Denny’s. Look how it only took minutes from Justice Ginsburg passing to the left creating a mythical statement to coerce Republicans not to do their job.
I have been at many passings and dying wishes are usually that the person dying soon join their dead relatives that gather by their bed to welcome them home. It is creepy and reassuring to hear people talking to deceased husbands and children.

The more progressive the progressives get, the more they revert back to really bad things. Packing the court was last tried by the progressive FDR. When is AOC going to suggest internment camps for conservatives. You know? Kind of like what FDR did with Japanese Americans.

Who has been making RBG's decisions over the past year? She has been too sick to work. I seriously doubt she has delved into any cases for which she has rendered a 'decision'. Obviously her staff have been writing her conclusions, none of which have the authority to do so.

It is obvious that RBG wanted Donald Trump to pick her replacement. That is why she refused to step down and allow BO to pick. She was a friend of the leading conservative on the court and she fought for men's equal rights under the law. I'd say that at least equals or surpasses some quote the granddaughter made up, which has absolutely no bearing on future events. The proof is in the actions taken. She had an opportunity to install a progressive justice replacement and she ignored it.

The House has no say as to who is approved to be a Supreme Court Justice. Did these people ever take a course in civics? What bothers me is they are making laws and don't know anything about our form of government.

Does her wish trump the constitution? RBG took a gamble years ago and lost. They told her to retire when Obama was still president so he could make a pick, but she thought she could outlast the next Republican president. Now her conservative replacement will be on the court for the next 30+ years. Tired of winning? I'm not.
