Sen. Mitt Romney’s spokesperson pushed back against claims that the Republican was “committed” to not confirming a new Supreme Court Justice until 2021. News of the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Friday sparked immediate panic in liberal America and, with meltdowns over filling her vacant seat on the high court, eyes turned to lawmakers who would be part of the confirmation process. But reports that Romney had taken a stand against voting on a nominee before the election turned out to be “fake news.”

Utah it's time to recall this clown. You have a republican governor that can appoint someone in Romney's place.

Pierre Delecto, good to hear that the claim is false. Nevertheless, you, as a US Senator, have taken a sworn oath to defend the Constitution of the United States of America. This means you better do your job and vote to confirm when the Senate brings the President's SCOTUS nominee for a confirmation vote. And that will be happening before November 3rd.

Don't worry. Pierre never misses a chance to stick his finger in President's Trump's eye. He will vote in 2020; but it will be to NOT confirm the Republican nominee. He's a snake now and forever hiding in his Mormon "faith."

A Romney spokesperson's denial means nothing to me. In Romney World, any statement usually means the opposite of what is true. If doubt this, read Romney's statement about Ruth Bader Ginsberg.
Or, for that matter, any statement Mitt Romney has made over the past twenty years.

it may be fake news, but sadly, given his recent behavior, the report was highly believable.

It is the duty of the President of the United States to fill the vacant office. The President has no obligation whatsoever to wait.

I don't trust this fake. Yeah, he may vote, but I suspect he will vote against any Trump nominee.

His vote against Trump at the impeachment hearings was a freebie, because it was not needed. It will be different if he casts the deciding vote against a conservative judge to fill Ginsburg's seat. Maybe Utah would recall him if he did.

Fake but true huh Mitt. You voted guilty to impeach Trump. Your loyalty to the party is as fake as you are.

It's grossly false that I won't vote on SCOTUS nominee until next year. When Trump nominates a replacement, I will vote against it without delay.

Turn-coat Romney needs a spokesman? Anyone who doesn't speak directly to their constituents, will reign like a tyrant one them.

We'll see.
So far, Pierre has never missed an opportunity to do something to mess with the President and cause harm to the country.

Mittens knows that if he stands in the way of a solid Conservative SCOTUS he's finished in UT.
Self preservation will win.

He says he'll "vote".....note, no hint of HOW he will vote. So far, he has never missed a chance to damage Trump.

Uh oh, sounds like somebody's wet finger caught some very angry feedback. But Romney can't blame us, for he has been staunchly against everything Trump has tried to do for this nation. So don't be blaming us for just going by your behavior and past record.
