President Trump called Carl Bernstein "a nut job" during an interview early Tuesday after the CNN political analyst referred to him as "homicidal." (Photo) "I know Carl Bernstein a little bit; he's a nut job. He's been a nut job for many years," Trump told "Fox & Friends" hosts Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt and Brian Kilmeade."I don't have a lot of respect for either of them, frankly," he added, referring to Bernstein's former Watergate reporting partner, Bob Woodward, whose forthcoming book is critical of the president."He was a total nut job and I see him," the president said of Bernstein. "He'll say anything.

Bernstein gets the Watergate particulars laid in his lap, he's played by Dustin Hoffmann in a Hollywood fairy tale, Carl becomes a legend. He's done jackpoop for decades, making a living as a go-to guy for political cheap-shot filth. Yeah, a nut job but much worse than that.

Carl Bernstein became famous for his hit piece on Nixon in 1974. Can anyone name anything else he's done in the last 46 years? Carl Bernstein is a washed up loser.

Bernstein was never the sharpest pencil in the box, and has apparently lost his already very mediocre mind as he has aged.

Bernstein is just another in the long line of Democrat activists who bash Trump at EVERY appearance. He is NOT a journalist. He just says he is one but that doesn't make him one. I'm Batman!! See how that works.

Trump is right, but simply calling names does not win an argument except in the eyes of people who also call their opponents names rather than informatively correct the record.

Mostly I respect President Trump even when I don't see where he's going with something. But in this case, if what possessed him to give a "total nutjob" 18 hours of his valuable time? What could be the upside of that?

Woodward and Bernstein, two jounrolistas whose expiration date passed about the same time 8-track tapes went out of production.

I wish he would stop calling people HE hired or associated with "idiots" or worse. It gives the other side some degree of credibility when they question his initial judgment.

Ridicule is a good weapon against pompous asses. You aren't ever going to correct or inform them.

The President is right. Bernstein the goof ball has his opinion riding on reputation from long ago with Watergate, which I believe was no different than today packed with lies to sack a sitting President. Like a dog visits his own vomit liberals tend to do that live on what they think is a triumph from the past. President Trump gave the old has been something to chew on by calling Bernstein a 'nut job'. The President flicked Bernstein off like a flea so let CNN discuss that.

As President Trump would say, "What a beauty!" Between the two Watergate stenographers, let's remember that to Woodward's "brilliance", Bernstein was considered the dumb one. And let us also remember the infamous "Deep Throat" turned out to be an assistant director of the FBI. The Deep State template for traitorous coups was set in 1972. Indeed, history is repeating itself as farce. The actions that built the modern Democrat Party are the same actions that will be their destruction. Machiavelli would be proud.
MAGA: This time the crime is worse than the cover up.

While some are too politically correct or wimpy to hear the truth, President Trump says in like it is. When you look at all these incidents it is almost always Trump who is defending himself in no uncertain terms from the duplicitous Democrats and their media minions.

Total mediocrity? Definitely.

Seems they always trot out old Carl Bernstein whenever there's a Republican president to bash so he can repeat his one and only quote since the late 70s: "Worse than Watergate!!"

President Trump is using the democrats playbook against them. Ridicule your opponents. It has always worked for democrats.
I don't know why people want President Trump to stop and be Mr. Nice Guy. They just don't understand that he is in the fight of his life, and making nice with democrats and their media would be the end of his Presidency. They wouldn't like him anyway, unless he adopted the full democrat agenda.

President Trump attended an actually "peaceful protest" decrying the injustices wreaked upon our fair country by the fascist Left. He did not deny entry to those not wearing masks but neither did he he deny entry to those who were wearing masks. In other words, he did not interfere with the protesters' freedom to choose. For this, famous fatty fatuous Leftist Bernstein accuses President Trump of murder. I'd say the President was spot-on in diagnosing Bernstein as deranged. BTW, Bernstein is OK with rioters not wearing masks.

Woodward had been getting all the attention with his Fake Book.
Bernstein can't let Woodward his all the presstitute attention.
After all, Dustin Hoffman played Bernstein.
