The left continually tells us that "climate change" is the reason behind wildfires. In fact, Washington State Gov. Jay Inslee (D) even went so far as saying we should call them "climate fires."
Most of the West Coast – Washington State, Oregon, California, and Idaho – are on fire. While the left is pushing their climate change theory, police are arresting arsonists for sparking these dangerous fires.
Oregon - Almeda Fire
A 41-year-old man was arrested in Oregon for starting one of the two origins of the Almeda fire, located just outside of Medford. Oregon State Fire Marshal’s office spokesman Rich Tyler said Michael Jarrod Bakkela started

Lives are lost because of these fires. So, please tell me when police, DOJ are going to press charges against some of these arsonists for murder?

Well technically the Molotov cocktail did contain what they call a fossil fuel.

NONE of them were since there is no such thing as Man Caused Climate Change.
The real cause of all the nations problems are Liberals in Government and the stupid misguided things they force others to do.

I get the point of the article but using this to argue against climate change this way is useless. The Left tries to point fingers of blame at everything but their policies; campers, cars, smokers, utility companies, (shhh - arsonists). There will ALWAYS be something to spark a fire. The real issue is WHAT is causing the conditions that explode a spark into an unstoppable wildfire?
The Leftists say climate change. Why? Because they can use that to extend control over and steal money from the people. In fact, most studies say that drought/dryness, a contributing factor to the fires, is NOT caused by climate change.
Instead, Leftist policies against controlled burning have allowed enormous amounts of fuel, dead, dry brush and untrimmed trees to accumulate and once a fire starts and there are dry and windy conditions, as happen frequently in the West, it quickly rages out of control.
Of course, it doesn't help that there are crazy arsonists setting fires.

It’s all due to political climate change where the left has changed former land management forestry policy to one of let nature be nature and do it’s own thing. The end result is devastation. Throw in some political arson and here we are.

The 37yr. old guy arrested for setting a fire in the median near the town of Puyallup, is also suspected of setting the fires that have forced the evacuation of the towns Sumner and Graham. Hundreds of acres and dozens of homes have been burned. A woman in Oregon caught a man on her property with matches, she forced him, at gunpoint, to lie on the ground until the cops arrived. She told him if her husband had caught him, he would have been shot.

Well, there’s living proof that “climate change” is indeed “man made” and “woman made” too, as the case may be. They surely changed the “climate” in that area for the foreseeable future, and destroyed a lot of lives and property in the process. A life in prison would be a lenient sentence.

Wildland burnoffs are as much about climate as volcanism or tsunamis.
The more the fuel, the bigger the fire. Granted that favorable climate causes faster, greater growth of fuel mass.
Similar to earthquakes; the longer the interval between, the greater the chance the next event will be a record breaker. Except that we can influence a wildland environment, not a seismic fracture zone.

With all the craziness on the left coast this was the first thought in my head, arsonist. In the cities they set fires on anything from cars, buildings, dumpsters even themselves. If the globe wasn't warm before it is now and it's 'man made' for sure.

They have to call them this or else admit that they are culpable for the fires, just as much as the rioters are. decades of diverting Fed money intended for forest management, combined with allowing the greenies to run the show, have proven spectacularly that democrats are complete and deliberate failures in office. Trump needs to order audits of all three states with regards to forest management and diversion of the funds. Moonbeam already admitted publicly he screwed up, so how about it Mr. President?

I have to assume that climate change if real would affect the entire world and we would be seeing massive forest fires wherever there are forests around the entire world. We aren't.

I was a boyscout. Helped lay out paths for a 10 acre community park and wildlife center. Knew Roger Latham - lived in my neighborhood. Read Boys Life, Ranger Rick, National Wildlife... our family often helped clean up garbage along roads. Audubon Society... I can remember reading, as a young teen, some wildlife activist saying, " Sometimes, to get enough attention on an issue, you have to exaggerate the problem, or else people just won't pay attention."
At the time, as a teenager, I took the article to my Mom, and said, "they're destroying environmentalism." We both knew you only had to be caught in a lie, a few times before your credibility was gone.
But we never foresaw how bad it would get.

They're the result of Climate Fraud that used the courts to lock out any attempts to practice sound forest management practices in favor of lunatic enviro-fascism.
