We’ve seen what a train wreck it is just to have Joe Biden do simple things like give a speech or answer questions in an interview.
He even appears to need a teleprompter to do softball interviews with James Corden, as we reported.
His team has refused to answer questions about his use of a teleprompter and they evaded the question yet again, instead claiming he is “out there everyday, taking questions” which in fact is not the case. [Video]
He’s largely avoided taking questions except for a couple of softball questions over the course of the whole week, hardly taking questions “everyday.”

The left always finds a reason to pick on Donald Trump. Without fail, they always find a reason to be upset with him, spending a good deal of their time digging into his past. For years now, they have Dubbed President Trump, “Captain Bonespurs” in relation to Trump’s deferments during the Vietnam era. Trump received five deferments during that time, 4 for education related deferments and 1 for bad feet, or as diagnosed by a doctor, bone spurs.
Well as it turns out, Joe Biden himself also was the beneficiary of numerous deferments during the same era.

Scientists at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine have isolated “the smallest biological molecule” that “completely and specifically neutralizes” the virus that causes coronavirus.
The antibody component is 10 times smaller than a full-sized antibody, and has been used to create the drug Ab8, shared in the report published by the researchers in the journal Cell on Monday. The drug is seen as a potential preventative against SARS-CoV-2.
According to the report, the drug has been “highly effective in preventing and treating” the SARS-CoV-2 infections in mice and hamsters during tests. The drug also reportedly does not bind to human cells, which suggests it will not have negative side-effects in people.

Wow: Joe Biden’s staff won’t even let him do a “spontaneous” Q&A session without a script. Is he really that far gone?
Obsessive scripting is the only explanation for what happened at last week’s Biden question-and-answer session with AFL-CIO union members, when the candidate responded to a young barista’s query with the non sequitur, “Move it up here” — then paused.
Anyone who’s been following Biden’s travails recognizes those words as a cue to his aides to jog the teleprompter, as he’s done time and again in recent weeks. (Why an experienced politician with a top-notch staff keeps having this trouble is also worrisome.)

The Team Trump-brokered peace deals that Israel, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates will sign Tuesday won’t end the Middle East’s problems, but they’re big steps in that direction — exactly the opposite of what the left predicted about President Trump’s approach.
On Friday, Trump announced that Bahrain agreed to normalize ties with Israel, just a month after the United Arab Emirates did likewise. Kudos to those nations — and to the president.
Even the bitterly anti-Trump New York Times admits this “leaves open the possibility” more Arab states will make peace.
Fact is, the Trump strategy broke through stale assumptions on the Palestinian-Israeli front,

A new study finds that Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s platform would raise taxes by $3.4 trillion on Americans and corporations over the next decade.
The Penn Wharton Budget Model, a nonpartisan group at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, released the study on Monday. In addition to trillions more in taxes, Biden’s platform would raise federal spending by about $5.4 trillion — or roughly 24% of gross domestic product by 2030, Fox Business reported.
“The spending plan, which is more than double what Hillary Clinton proposed during the 2016 campaign, would be funded by a slew of new taxes, including a corporate tax hike.

On Monday, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals handed the Trump administration a victory, ruling 2-1 that a preliminary injunction barring implementation of decisions to terminate Temporary Protected Status (TPS) designations of Sudan, Nicaragua, Haiti, and El Salvador would be vacated.
Ed Whelan noted at National Review, “It might seem surprising that there would be any controversy over DHS’s authority to terminate a temporary designation years later. But after ordering DHS to provide the administrative record for its termination decisions, federal district judge Edward Chen granted plaintiffs (TPS beneficiaries from these countries and their children) injunctive relief based on their claims under the Administrative Procedure Act and the Equal Protection Clause.”

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has pledged that he will make information about his health publicly available and commit to “complete health transparency” — but only if he’s elected president.
In an interview with CNN over the weekend, Biden was asked about his overall health. He’s 78 years old — just slightly older than President Donald Trump — and a number of individuals have questioned his fitness to serve as president (though many of those critics are not among his political allies, and include the president himself).
“Biden, who will be 78 in November, would be the oldest president in U.S. history,” Axios reported Monday.

On Sunday morning, former GOP Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, taking note of the two Los Angeles County deputies who were shot in the head in a cold-blooded ambush as they sat in their patrol car Saturday night, threw down the gauntlet to Democratic vice-presidential candidate Kamala Harris, who is a senator from California.
Walker wrote, referencing Harris’ visit to Jacob Blake, who was shot by police in Kenosha, Wisconsin, “Will @kamalaharris visit deputies who were shot (31-year-old mom & 24 year-old) in her state? She visited someone in WI who was charged with felony 3rd-degree sexual assault and said she was proud of him.

President Trump on Saturday ripped Joe Biden for a campaign ad that cites a magazine’s report quoting anonymous sources who claim Trump disparaged dead American soldiers but said there is a silver lining: “Now I can be really vicious.”
“Pathetic Joe. He’s a pathetic human being to allow that to happen,” Trump said of the ad Biden’s campaign released last week.
“There’s nobody who loves our military, respects them more than me. There were 25 witnesses on the record that said it never happened,” Trump said, citing former and current staff members who said he never called dead soldiers “suckers” and “losers.”

I’m not anti-mask, per se. There, I said it. If you’ve been reading my rants, er, columns on the topic these past few months, you might get another idea though, and I understand that. It certainly SEEMS like I’m anti-mask, and you’d be forgiven for thinking that was the case. That doesn’t mean that I like wearing them, of course. They’re uncomfortable and stifling and, frankly, disgusting. Even so, I WOULD wear them, when necessary, if the arguments the mask-proponents used to con almost the entire world into accepting and even mandating the practice were actually, well, true. Ah, but there’s the rub, right?

You know, I am still not tired of all the winning. Imagine having a Republican president conserva-woke enough to issue an executive order banning the poisonous lies of critical race theory from being inflicted upon our federal workforce. Well, we do have a president fearless enough to fight back, boldly and publicly, against the noxious propaganda of the academic left we taxpayers have been shelling out millions to pay commie consultants for. And he did it in the face of the utterly predictable narrative that “Trump is racist for prohibiting indoctrinating government employees with the idea that people are good or bad based on their race!”
