A recent IBD/TIPP poll found something that appears to confirm the idea that there are lots of Trump supporters out there who won’t admit it to pollsters.
“Overall, 20% of registered voters say they’re uncomfortable revealing their preferred candidate, but that rises to 28% among independents,” it found.
That’s a shockingly high number and one that should worry anybody who expects Trump to get trounced in November.
Think about it: Which candidate are people likely to be uncomfortable revealing their preference for? The candidate who is being heralded as Mr. Empathy and the savior of the nation? Or the candidate

I think 20% is low, I think its much higher. I will always say why I think President Trump should be reelected, I will not shy away from my conservative opinions. However, I will not put a sign on our property, or on my car because the left is so deranged and full of hateful rage, I don't want our property set as a target.

"Shy" Trump voters? Hey - - there's nothing "shy" about saying F-U to a leftist, fake pollster.

Most of them have two months left to grow spines. The rest of us are Real and Ready. Our polling places are the last way we have to eradicate the democrat socialists for good and if they are out in force harassing us, let it begin. This time around we are the Sioux and the Biden losers are the 7th Cavalry.

The Election will be decided by how long the States count Mail-In ballots after the statutory deadline is passed.
Democrat owned Federal Judges will order states to keep counting as long as Trump is ahead.

Thank you #2. Holding your fire when shooting back will only give away your position and strength is wise not shy. We need to not avoid a chance to educate and present facts that some people have never heard but when there's no chance of making a difference and potential for harm, there's no point just shut up and vote.

Were the soldiers who refused to line up in uniform and get shot in customary fashion during the revolutionary war, shy or strategic? I'll gladly take all those fighters hiding in the woods.
By the way, the less they know about how we plan to vote, the better. As was the case with Hillary, they don't know how much they need to cheat to win.

No bumper sticker or sign in my yard. I will vote. The first day that I can vote in the early voting in Iowa, I will vote.
On a side note, I have noticed an couple interesting things. I work in a very liberal town. As I go about my job, I see many yard signs. I am seeing many more republican candidate signs than I have seen before. I don’t know if they’re new republicans or just fed up and they want people to know it.
Another thing I have noticed is that there are houses with signs for democrat candidates but they don’t have Biden signs. I’m not sure if they aren’t going to vote for Biden or if they are ashamed to admit. I have seen 2 or 3 Biden signs.
November is going to be interesting !!

"Shy" is not the right word. In the closet is more like it. The concern is loss of friends or even loss of jobs by the totalitarian left.

If they locate you, they know who you are. With the data mining technology available today they can easily attach your political preferences to your name. Will you be passed over for a job without knowing it. Will you be moved ahead in the layoff list? These are real fears felt by real numbers. People living in CNN and NYT glass bubbles are completely oblivious to this. The toxic social atmosphere deliberately created by the Democrat/Media complex over the last four years is preventing people from having peaceful Thanksgiving dinners with family. Yes the shy, in closet hidden or whatever you call him, voter does exist in vast numbers. We'll know around 9.00 pm Nov 3. Just as we did in 2016.

I have met hundreds of people in the past 6 months (during Democrat prescribed legal activities) who are silent voters. They cannot wait to show their disgust at Democrats who strive to ruin their lives for power. A massive turnout is coming.

I'm not afraid!
I refuse to participate because it's none of anyone's business what I plan on doing in the privacy of the voting booth. (and I love it when news organizations are proved wrong.)

Went on an excursion along the waterway in Beaufort, NC Sunday. The waterways and beaches were congested with boats. Many boats were pulled up along the beaches, stretching for about a mile and a large number of them waved "Trump 2020" signs. "Where is the Biden beach?" I wondered. I never saw it. While these people wouldn't put a Trump sticker on their car or home for fear of Dem harassment, they proudly proclaimed their alliance in the freedom of open beaches and sunshine!

I'm a shy Trump voter.
My car was egged in 2016 because of the Trump sign on my front lawn and Trump bumper sticker.
Why make yourself a target for brain-dead, low-IQ, ignorant mouth-breathing Democrats?

What is going to shock the Democrats is how many of their supposed prospective Democrat voters, who have a clear head on their shoulders, who are going to keep their mouths shut and vote for President Trump.

The bumper sticker/yard sign thing is interesting.
I live in a sort of semi-conservative/liberal enclave in one of SoCal's better known versions of Sodom. Lots of old Veterans life here, many residents fly Old Glory every day --including me -- but you won't see many Trump signs around here.
Why bother?
My local lib neighbors were all in for Soetoro with signs all over the place and I continue to see stinky/sloe joe bumper stickers around town. Big deal.
I have seen two and only two sloppy joe signs in my neighborhood. Only two.
At least now I know where the two sincere boneheads live. I consider those biden signs a public service.
As for me, my votes are my signs. I hang up on pollsters, too.

We decided the last one, and it will be a repeat on this one, except I would like to see 420 electorial votes for Trump....a landslide that even the stinking liberal sheep couldn't fight....

When you consider that all the cities experiencing rioting, looting, burning, and violence for over three months with nothing being done to stop it and are, and have been, under Democrat control for years and years, any sane voter would vote Republican.
If President Trump is not re-elected by a landslide with enough Representative and Senators to back him up, you know that either there are a lot of insane voters or the election has be stolen by fraudulent ballots.

Shy because if you voice support for Trump, liberals will scream at you. If you wear anything Trump related to a restaurant, liberals will assault you and feel they are well within their rights to do so. I would not dare put anything Trump related on my car or in front of my house. Look at the cities in flames and you will see what liberals feel it is OK to do.
I also don't speak to poll takers because I find they enormously annoying. We get a call at least every day that is poll related. They are as bad as those people that want to sell you an extended warranty for your car. Further, my telling them what I think does NOTHING for the voting process. It is the means by which the media steers the politicians. You want a politician to do something? Take a (rigged) poll saying that there is support for it. The problem is, Trump has made his promises directly to the American People. He doesn't need the media to tell him what he should do and has no interest in their misdirection. This takes their power and infuriates them.
In 2016, Trump kept going in the face of the "polls" and the media. He won. I think even he was a bit surprised. Now, Trump has proven himself and he knows the American People are on his side. He also knows how insane the dems are and how anti American they are seen to be. When Trump wins this election BIG, he will have significantly shattered the power of the elites to steer elections and politics.
