Unions representing millions of workers, from teachers to truck drivers, pledged to ramp up protests in the leadup to the presidential election, with walkouts aimed at forcing local and federal lawmakers to pass police reform and address what they described as systemic racism.
In a statement first shared with The Associated Press on Saturday, labor leaders from America's biggest public and private sector unions said they would organize walkouts for teachers, autoworkers, truck drivers and clerical staff, among others. “The status quo — of police killing Black people, of armed white nationalists killing demonstrators, of millions sick and increasingly desperate — is clearly unjust, and it cannot continue,”

Sure thing, Mr. Union Boss. In the middle of the pandemic shut downs you want me to walk off my job to demand defunding the police? To show "solidarity" to the Marxist fraud BLM? Things that are non-related to my job or employer? You want me to sacrifice my livelihood, the security of my family, so the union bosses can be social justice warrior icons?
For some reason I think the Commies have unpacked another shipment from ACME.

Unions look for any reason to walk off the job. As long as it involves not working, they're on board.

Teacher's union and teachers I believe would walk off in a heart beat. Others, I don't buy it. It's wishful thinking on the democrat propaganda machine.

Bring it on, suckas. Your unions will die along with all of the other institutions that have thrown their lot in with BLM.

Living in Michigan I know a lot of people in the UAW. I can guarantee you that they will not be walking off their jobs to protest police or support BLM. Not even most of the black members.

FTA: “The status quo — of police killing Black people, of armed white nationalists killing demonstrators, of millions sick and increasingly desperate — is clearly unjust, and it cannot continue,”
There will be a point in every person, when the lies reach a level that the person has had enough. Every statement this / these union bosses state, is a lie. Even the statement that "unions" made this statement is a lie, since union have no control on what each rank and file member does.
First. Police killing Blacks? In every case, police were fingered for racial acts before reviewing the facts. In every case, there was a reason (not mentioned by the media) why deadly force was used. What the media also fails to inform the people, is the police are not average people, they must engage the person who has committed an alleged crime. They don't get to run away like the rest of us. It's easy to sit back and watch and blame, but if you had to engage, then you would protect your own life to the best of your ability too. Somethings that becomes questionable and we have rules and laws for that.
Second. "White nationalist killing demonstrators"? This has two lies in it. It has not been whites killing demonstrators, but demonstrators killing white conservatives. And... they are not demonstrators, they are paid Marxist to destroy property and lives.
Third. Attributing the sick to Trump is not just unfair, it is a lie. Covid came from China, but because they are politically the same as today's Democrat, China, China gets a pass and the conservative Trump gets the blame.
In the end, once people have had enough of their lies, their reign of influence and power will end in defeat. The question is, how many Americans have had enough of their lies?

If the unions strike, it would be a good reason to ban all unions in Federal, state, and local government including teacher unions.

I think many union bosses are delusional about how the individual union member is going to vote in the privacy of the polling booth.

This is a phony article. The only unions whose local (not national) leaders are actually cited as signing this screed come from AFSCME and the AFT, public sector/Democrat-owned unions. There was already one "BLM strike" a few weeks back and it failed miserably. Can't see too many hardhats clamoring to join the students in protest.

Time to bust some Unions into dust I guess. Idiots gonna idiot. There is a reason why most big companies like Saturn and Toyota choose to head South. For the South doesn't force them to allow SJW nonsense into their companies, and the employees are much happier people. Let the Unions expose themselves for the tone deaf power grabbers that they are.
