Joe Biden accepted the Democratic Party’s nomination in what might have been the most awkward, unexciting way possible. After a Democratic official announced that Biden had won a majority of the party’s delegates, the virtual event switched over to the high school library where Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, waited. This segment was obviously live because the transition was so clunky that viewers had to watch the two stand there smiling awkwardly while stringed confetti fell from the ceiling. But don’t worry. Democrats made sure to include prerecorded applause from multiple guests, switching back and forth
The whole thing had a creepy vibe about it with the chorus of repeating various phrases like something from a horror movie. I wasn't watching, but heard it as the roommate is a h-wood lib.

Happily I only watched the last 15 minutes of this convention and Biden's acception speech.
When the camera focused on Sleepy Joe trying to get up out of his chair, they quickly panned away to clapping people, I thought he was going to fall over.
Once he was on his feet they went back to Biden and to his "speech" which consisted of about 15 words. Doubt if he is capable of anything longer without getting confused.
God help our Country if he gets elected.

Maybe that’s why the Democrats are holding their convention in the nighttime so that not too many people will watch on TV thus allowing the leftist and liberal media to filter what when on, and put their usual pro leftist and liberal Democrat spin on the proceeding as they report it to the American people tomorrow, thus keeping the Biden under the covers scam going.

Who's going to watch this stuff unless you're a dedicated Democrat? If they hoped to pick up more votes, even swing some undecideds, this didn't do it.

If they're this bad at staging a convention, imagine how bad they would be at running the country!

Well, come on, how can any other DNC convention night compete with the Stephen Stills and Billy Porter outro of "For What It's Worth" (the DNC's new fight song)? Porter's Dracula cape spin just before he started singing was sublime and Stills haphazardly sliding through the video, Stratocaster ablazin' was full frontal South Park/Monty Python "with a message." I laughed till I cried. Stephen can still bust a move.

The THIRD NIGHT of the D.N.C. National [semi-virtual?] Nominating Convention WE are waiting it, with stunned anticipation.... This is the same emotion you experienced; when you woke up, and knew it was THE Day. Your mom was taking you back for the next installment of your root canal at the local dental college.
It's like...Just shoot me NOW.... and let this be over!

Another first for the demonrats - - - -
The first convention with canned applause!
Oh, for the good old days - - of live "spontaneous" demonstrations. They were completely phony, but at least they were real.

I've counted four people that may be subject to indictments, Clinton, Biden, Obama and Yates, involved in this convention fiasco. . There could some i missed.

The Dems would do better to run episodes of "I Love Lucy" and "M*A*S*H" for two hours. Or, even better, run episodes of "Mr. Ed" and "Dennis the Menace."
Now if they want a more Clinton theme to it, run "Designing Women." I would suggest "The Jeffersons" for an Obama themed convention, but George Jefferson was a capitalist, making his money legitimately by dry cleaning clothes. Obama got his money by sucking at the breasts of the taxpayers and book deals for books other people wrote. Ergo, "The Jeffersons" would not do for the Obamas.

Other than blind dedication to democrats, I can't understand why anybody would vote for this pair of bookends. Biden has no more of a chance of winning this election than a frog has of winning the Kentucky Derby.

FTA: "I cannot emphasize this enough: The production value of this event has been horrible. It’s a wonder anyone is taking it seriously."
The GOP/Trump Campaign have much to do in this department themselves. I watched the second night of the "Real Joe Biden" recap. Better than #1, but still unwatchable. (Suggestions: Get rid of the third person, and use cuts from the convention for viewer context.) The honest truth is this touted Biden re-cap ought to be pulled if it can't be fixed pronto. If this is an indication of what the GOP Convention will look and sound like, it's disastrous.

I refuse to inflict dem dementia on myself but it sounds like dems are putting together a middle school level presentation of "Convention". As others have pointed out, Hollyweird is in their pocket and this pathetic mess is the best they can do? It is yet another reminder, at the worst possible time, that dems are incompetent. The evidence abounds but dems seem eager to prove it over and over. Parties hope to get a convention "bounce". Dems will be lucky not to get buried in a convention "ditch".
Trump's "Apprentice" performance has proven he knows how to put on a show that resonates with people. Hopefully he has his experienced people engaged with the production of the Republican convention. Hopefully they keep the "stage" cleared of RINOs and the more hapless Republicans. We have some Barn Burner representatives. Let's use them to get the crowds fired up. The dems have shown how NOT to do a convention. Let's blow them out of the water.

Convention is an oxymoron in this case. Conventions are where people gather together for some purpose. This democrat disaster is an infomercial, consisting of pre-recorded talking points from people scattered in who knows where. Kind of like infomercials for the hottest new garden hose or repair tape, only those are more interesting!

I feel a twinge of guilt commenting on something I haven't seen (and wouldn't ever see; and couldn't be hired to see). Let's be charitable. Their fifteen minutes of fame is at three minutes and counting. When they think about it long and hard (if they're capable of sustained thought) they'll realize how silly they looked, touting the charms of Kamala Sutra and a senile old man.

In my dreams, Joe Biden is giving his acceptance speech when his mind wanders and he goes off on a babbling rant. And as much fun as that would be, watching the media try to cover for him would be even more fun.
