In reading historian Paul Kengor’s stunning new book on the demonic roots of the socialist movement -- The Devil and Karl Marx – I came across one small section of the book that has the potential to deprogram the young Marxists in your life. (snip) what will trouble the clueless Marxists you might know -- and if they are not clueless, they are evil -- is Marx’s extravagant racism and anti-Semitism. The anti-Semitism I knew about. The racism I did not.

Karl Marx in his beliefs was really not very different from Adolph Hitler.

I'm trying to approach any opportunity to re-awaken people to the horrors of Marxism by stripping away the vocabulary. Calling the same thing different names masks the truth. For instance what does the word "own" mean? If the government tells you what you can and cannot to with something who really owns it? What difference does it make if the bureaucrat who dictates what I can and cannot do with a resource get's his power to do so from a dictate to "serve the people" or "serve the king" or "serve the party or fureur"?
The starving peasant farmers in the USSR who "owned" the grain collectively would be thrown in the gulag for sneaking a handful for their hungry children. They didn't own squat!
Marxism, Nazism, and feudal Monarchy, same thing, different century, different vocabulary.

FTA: "had Marx been a better poet and Hitler a better painter just think how different the world would be today." Or Cumela a better lover, Obambi a better pothead, Roosevelt with better legs, Byrd a better Klan recruiter...

Marx's ideas were developed in officially class-stratified, monarchical Europe. They have no relevance to a democratic republic (unknown to Europe at that time). Furthermore, the premise on which his ideas were based--that basic human nature could be changed--is wrong. No wonder Marxism resulted in force and terror to make people "act good" and has ultimately failed everywhere it has been tried.

The gullible are carefully and selectively taught just enough about evil people so they develop a sense of admiration for them. Marx is one of the most glorified villians but there have been many, Fidel Castro, Che Guevera, Hugo Chavez, Quadaffi, the Kims of North Korea, Saddam, Adolph Hitler and many others. For each person who hates them as evil and cruel, there is one who believes that they were the greatest leaders their countries have ever had. I once knew a truly warped guy who celebrated Hitler's birthday every year. The opposite is also true, actual great men are being villified to fit one agenda or another. That is how important history is and that is why there is such a campaign in progress to change history in this country. Most of us see Barack Obama now as the worst mistake ever made by the American people but fifty years from now, who knows, he could be the only face on Mt. Rushmore and Washington, D. C. could be known as Obamatown. As Ronald Reagan said, "one generation away..."

Bah. Humbug.
True believers in Marx cannot be dissuaded, argued with, or changed. They have found their truth, and they are sticking to it. Like all believers in Utopias in the past, they are CONVINCED that Marxism will heal all our ills. Just because it never has is no reason not to believe it can be done right this time.
Ignore history. Ignore human nature. Ignore it all. You just gotta believe!

Marxism is a religion for atheists. Followers are true believers, who spout his written manifestos, but neither know, or care about, Marx the man.

Yeahhhhh . . . . NO! I seriously doubt any Marxists in the U.S. today cares one wit about this. The ONLY thing that will make them wake up is when reality bites them and bites them hard--like when everything they own is taken from them and given to someone else!

Hundreds of millions of people have likely died because of Marxist ideology. Look at China and Russia for starters. I don't know how many people are willing to leave behind their Marxist ideology. First, they have to admit their wrong, and many people would rather die than do that. Marxism is all about control, and most control freaks aren't very nice people. Marxism does not believe in equality, and there are so many people out there that want to believe they are 'superior' to someone. That is at the roots of all kinds of racism and sexism.
Ultimately, this is about people, and many people are tyrants. Its does not speak well of the human race. So many do not value life other than their own.

Paul Johnson's book Intellectuals gives a devastating portrait of Marx. He was a thoroughly horrible human being forcing his family to live in squalor and thinking work beneath him. In many of his letters he complains how he is suffering from boils. Some historians think he might have had hidradenitis suppurativia but others think he was just so filthy, that it caused the boils.

I'm switching to a more muscle memory kind of teaching. A hard slap across the face, that's socialism. A punch in the nose, that's communism. An uppercut to the chin, that is Marxism. Words mean nothing to these brainwashed fools. They love the trappings of violence the makeshift weapons, the blinding lasers, the ragtag uniforms and the spray paint. All more aggressive extensions of their skateboarding vandalism and their obsessive video games. Only they get to party and pretend that they are some kind of virtuous 'warriors' while doing it. If they can actually take a cheap shot at a human from the middle of a mob, great. What they really need is a touch of physical payback for their violence and hate. No one wants to do it, but it is far past time for consequences for these crimes.

Stopping the draft did a real disservice to this country. All of these whining bedwetters and rioters would be well served to see the rest of the world.
