Even before the Democrat presidential candidate, Joe Biden, named his choice for vice president, a group of Democrat Party activists released an unprecedented document outlining their "rules" for how the media could address issues surrounding the woman Biden ultimately chose. These guidelines made it abundantly clear that the media were "required" to handle Biden's choice with kid gloves. (snip) She has three strikes against her that are a death knell for her prospects. There is no way, after these strikes, she should be anywhere near a heartbeat or a brain flare away from the presidency of America.

Well, I hope when she's being 'grilled' by the so-called 'media', that those puff-balls don't leave a mark. ''As everyone knows, Madam Presi....err, Senator Harris, you're the best vice presidential candidate in the history of the country! But still, I must ask you a difficult question....Can you tell the American people your favorite color?''

"anything even slightly critical would be condemned as "racist and sexist."" This sounds just like they were supposed to treat BO. Softballs and Greek temple adulation. "Kamala is known as being "pragmatic, rather than principled."" In Kamala's case this means that she did whatever was necessary to advance her "ambition" including prostitute herself. Imagine what else she might "sell" to move ahead; perhaps the USA to China. That would be very "pragmatic" of her. Kamala is a hard Leftist? What NOT a surprise. THAT was a certainty once Bernie bowed out quietly. Bernie was a too well labeled Communist. He couldn't win the general election. The Leftists were NOT doing to left the presidential prize slip from their hands but Joe couldn't function well enough to run the country for the Leftists. The VP HAD TO BE a hard Leftist, but not such an obvious one as Bernie. The only problem has been that Joe has declined much faster than they expected. The article describes Kamala's failings for people who love America but for Leftists, as a "pragmatic" stealth stalking horse she is perfect. The key for the dems is to chaotically obscure exactly WHO you will be voting for in November. For establishment dems they offer up Uncle Joe. For identity group dems they offer up Kamala with a nod to the Left. For the hidden Left power brokers, the guarded reality that THEY will be in charge. NONE of the individual candidate personas are are acceptable to the other groups but it allows the power brokers to pivot the right face to the right group. The establishment? Show them Joe. The identity players? Kamala? The secret Leftist cabal? Well, they know they are really in charge. The dems offer up a 3 headed Cerberus for presidential consideration; an apparition to guard the gates of a Leftist hell and entrap the American People. Let's hope that enough voters are able to see the creature for what it is and find it as abhorrent as it's real nature makes it.

The Real Problem

Many Americans seem to have understandably concluded that Joe Biden has dementia based on his very public displays of confusion, aphasia, and incoherence. (snip) Joe Biden is presenting exactly as my father did in the early stages -- right down to the vacant look in his eyes. It’s no secret that Kamala Harris got a leg up in California politics because she dated Willie Brown. (snip) why is Willie Brown, one of the smartest people in politics, warning Kamala away from the vice presidency? Willie Brown is doing so because he knows that Franklin Roosevelt was the only vice-presidential candidate on a ticket that failed to have later gone on to win the White House. Roosevelt was the Democrat candidate for vice president in 1920 when Warren G. Harding ran on a “return to normalcy.” Roosevelt eventually won the presidency in 1932. Other than FDR, being a losing vice presidential candidate is political death.

In reading George Will’s recent column (“The Difference between Trumpism and fascism”), I was struck by a few things: his elitist anti-Trump tone, his denigration of the President’s supporters and his lack of understanding of Donald Trump’s appeal. The thing which struck me most, however, was not a failure to know the past, but his inability to apply the lessons of history to the present. He recites the basics of the history of fascism while completely missing how that history applies to the current situation.

In life, we encounter things which may work in theory, but not in practice. Communism is famously one of those things. Time travel is another. With any luck, Americans will soon come to realize that strict social distancing, economic lockdowns, and mask-wearing all belong in that category of supposedly sound ideas that simply don’t work in reality. For evidence, let’s look to Sweden. As Dr. Malcolm Kendrick, an ER doctor at a hospital in Stockholm, writes on his blog, “COVID is over in Sweden. People have gone back to their normal lives and barely anyone is getting infected anymore.”

Hillary Clinton’s loss of the 2016 presidential election to Donald Trump was so traumatic for members of the Democrat elite that a form of PTSD appears to have taken hold, relegating all memory of the candidacy itself to amnesia. Yet there is at present little evidence that "severe side effects" are common in COVID-19 patients who take hydroxychloroquine, with the majority of reported adverse events being relatively mild and only a small fraction of reported effects so far being dangerous and/or fatal.

It is no secret but public knowledge that Kamala Harris slept her way up into California political life by being a very public escort and mattress for California Democrat Kingmaker Willie Brown. Willie Brown is 30 years older than Harris and was very married at the time. It was public. It was an embarrassment. With Joe Biden’s photo metaphorically the definition of the 25th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, voters will decide in November whether they want Harris to be their president some time in the next four years. Of almost equally significant concern is what Harris represents to hard-working women across the country who devote years to their careers

It has become almost conventional wisdom that if Joseph Biden is elected President this November he will only serve one term and not seek reelection in 2024. Given Biden's age, this makes intuitive sense. At 77, he is already the oldest person ever to be a major party candidate for President. Although his doctor says he's in good health for a man his age, there is no guarantee that he will remain so for another four years, let alone eight. This reality framed Biden's decision about choosing a running mate. Because of his age, Biden needed to choose somebody who
