A mad rush for the exits
as New York City

It’s not just a few Upper West Siders who are fleeing New York: Moving companies say they’re swamped with calls from residents looking to ditch the city — even though the COVID crisis has waned. One likely reason: The virus was but the last straw; New Yorkers are fed up with the shootings and lootings, homelessness on the streets, sub-par online schools, sky-high taxes and the sheer obliviousness of pols like Mayor Bill de Blasio and Gov. Andrew Cuomo. On Sunday, The Post highlighted families who’ve given up on the Upper West Side — now teeming with junkies, the homeless, convicts and others — and are headed for greener pastures outside Gotham.

We're seeing WAY too many New York license plates lately in, of all places, eastern Oklahoma. PLEASE don't come here with your Marxist voting records. There are copper heads, water moccasins, scorpions, tarantulas, wild boars, brown panthers (for Rio Lindans, that would be the actual animal), coyotes, bobcats, builders who can't get building materials, tornadoes, 80 mile an hour straight line winds, plenty of Walmartians, gravel roads that destroy sedan tires in a month, poor soil, and lots of people with missing teeth. It's Third World, worse than the BLM riots. Go somewhere else like Dallas. They're as pretentious as Los Angeles only with cowboy boots and barbecue sauce. You'll love Dallas.

Now they want to move to a conservative city where morals, values and respect for authority are a standard. Who wants to live in a place where you can't walk down the street to the corner store for a paper, without getting mugged or assaulted by homeless beggars? Especially at night. Having to stay inside, behind locked doors, with fear of venturing outside, is no way to live. Even more so when you can't legally protect yourself with a gun! New York is now trying to sue the NRA out of business. That will surely encourage law-abiding citizens to remain (/s) Criminals shrug and say ''so what?''

After it became clear that the very contagious Chinese COVID virus had targeted New York City first, New York City residents with the wherewithal to do so pretty much left New York City, while some of them stayed in nearby cities and towns where they had residences, a big majority headed for Florida where New York City residents usually turn up to escape the cold winter months. Others traveled all over the USA and that’s why people are seeing so many New York license plates in far away places, and why the China COVID virus was able to rapidly spread across the USA.

#6, please don't tell them to move to Dallas! Leftists have already ruined Dallas. We had to sell our house at a substantial loss 10 years ago to get away from their policies that turned our neighborhood into a homeless camp. We're in the suburbs, but they're spilling over and ruining the whole county and DFW Metroplex now. And don't even get me started on what they've done to Houston, San Antonio and (shudder!) Austin. Quit trying to "turn Texas blue." Just stay in your own garbage holes and turn blue yourselves. As for NYC, I'm glad my two young nieces got to see it a few years ago before DeBlasio and Cuomo destroyed it. I lived nearby in the late '80s and remember having to step over all the homeless bums in the reeking Grand Central Station. A drug dealer approached me on 42nd St. shaking a pill bottle like a maraca in broad daylight and loudly asking, "Hey, dude, wanna buy some crack?!" not even caring if any cops overheard. I thought then that Dinkins was the worst mayor in history, but at least he had the excuse of inheriting a sewer and only making it worse. DeBlasio inherited a successful city that Giuliani miraculously rescued and in the space of only a few short years, turned it back into a hellhole. Dinkins taught him well. The student has surpassed the master.

Not only did Clinton and Kaine run for the Democrats

To be clear, the request here isn’t to let Pennsylvania voters mail ballots after polls close. They need to be postmarked before then. The request is to have the court extend the deadline for when ballots need to be received in order to be counted, which by law is 8 p.m. on Election Day. Right now, the Postal Service recommends that ballots be mailed a full week before Election Day, i.e. October 27, in order to ensure that they’re received on time. But Pennsylvania law allows voters to *apply* for a ballot up until October 27. That means many voters won’t even have ballots

Despite the best-friend bond Joe Biden touts with former President Obama, tensions have lingered between the two statesmen over their vastly different governing styles, according to a Politico report. To start, a number of anonymously sourced quotes from Obama leaked out throughout the 2020 Biden campaign where the former president allegedly expressed doubts about his former running mates’ fitness for office. “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f--k things up,” one Democrat who spoke to the former president recalled him saying. When lamenting his own diminishing relationship with the current Democratic electorate, particularly in Iowa, Obama reportedly told one 2020 candidate: “And you know who really doesn’t have it? The Biden-Harris ticket is upside down. That’s our first reaction to the news that Vice President Biden has chosen the junior senator from California, Kamala Harris, to be his running mate. That makes a ticket where the vice presidential candidate seems, at least to us, to be of a more presidential personality than the elder statesman from Delaware. The more typical formulation is the young, ambitious executive type at the top of the ticket. To see how odd this ticket really looks, imagine that in 2008 the ticket had been Biden-Obama. It would have gone down in flames. The trailblazing personality, the creative spirit, belonged to the younger man.

It has become almost conventional wisdom that if Joseph Biden is elected President this November he will only serve one term and not seek reelection in 2024. Given Biden's age, this makes intuitive sense. At 77, he is already the oldest person ever to be a major party candidate for President. Although his doctor says he's in good health for a man his age, there is no guarantee that he will remain so for another four years, let alone eight. This reality framed Biden's decision about choosing a running mate. Because of his age, Biden needed to choose somebody who

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) broke with President Trump on Friday by saying there is no debate over whether Sen. Kamala Harris is a U.S. citizen, remarks that came after the president encouraged a conspiracy theory that the California Democrat may not be eligible to serve as vice president because her parents are immigrants. In a pair of tweets, Graham, a frequent defender of Trump, said he disagreed with Harris on “plenty of issues,” calling her “one of the most liberal members of the U.S. Senate.” But he said there should be no debate over her citizenship status.
