Former CIA Director John Brennan appears to have dodged prosecution in U.S. Attorney John Durham's criminal inquiry into the Russia investigation.
After NBC News reported Thursday that Brennan agreed to do an interview with Durham, signaling that his investigation is nearing its end, a lawyer familiar with the situation told NPR that the Obama-era CIA director has been told he is not a target of prosecutors. Instead, this source said, the interview will mainly consist of technical questions.
The news is sure to disappoint some of President Trump's most ardent supporters who believe Brennan and other top officials in the Obama administration

I would indeed be very disappointed because there would no justice in the Democrat version of Marxist America. Please vote for our great President Trump, the best ever.

Well, here we go again folks,,,,,if this story is true the mighty escape prosecution again. Durham and Barr are not going to indict their old buddies who they know well and probably are still socializing with . They may throw out a few indictments for a few underlings but not the hot shots (Comey, et al) just to make it look like they have been hard at it for the last year or so. Total BS from beginning to the end a huge cost to the taxpayers.

We kept being told for over a year that Bull Durham was doing the job, that you could tell by the tight lid he was keeping on leaks. Now we find that Bull was doing nothing, and there were no leaks, because Bull and Barr did not want the taxpayers to know they were getting paid for nothing.

I am really starting to think this republic isn't worth saving. So many people are too big to be held accountable even for pedophilia. It might be better just to send Kim Jung Il the coordinates for DC and be done with it.

The source is NBC news. I don't believe anything until I see the report. However, I listened to Dan Bongino's podcast and he laid out the case quite clearly that the "fall guy" for Spygate will probably be Comey.

Many of the gang over at Free Republic think this is fake news.. I hope they are right.
But I have a feeling that it was just another play in the D.C. Kabuki Theater, stringing us along, and pulling the football away at the last second, just like Lucy did to Charlie Brown so often.

'A lawyer familar with ...told NPR.' Now to date the Durham investigation has been sealed up tighter than Obambi's birth certificate and within hours of the Durham interview we have the first and only major leak to a reliable leftist propaganda mouthpiece. Gotta admit, this smells ight fake to me.

Help me out here, but do all criminals get to have an interview with the prosecutor before being charged with a crime? Don't think so. I will wait to see what happens and be happy to see Brennan, Comey, McCabe, Strozk and Page walk handcuffed

Yes, I would be disappointed if Brennan, Clapper and Comey all sailed off into the Sunset. Disappointed, but not surprised! Look at the Clintons. He was re-elected after the Lewinsky Affair. She should have gone to jail
when the private Servers were found out. And All of them, Bill, Hillary and Chelsey should have gone to jail for the millions they made from the Clinton Foundation Scam. Just goes to show you that we actually DO have Untouchables in this country!

I will be leaving out the "ing" when I discuss Durham's report.
If there is no intention of arresting any government employee, why bother to investigate them at all.

I dunno, but long ago I got tired of the "boy, we got 'em now" stories, which all fizzled. I would not be surprised at all, if this story is not correct, that the crook Muslim, Brennan "dodged" prosecution, We have found out exactly how deep the swamp actually is in this country.

Im not taking a position one way or another until the fat lady....er fat person...sings. i dont trust the media and I dont trust the prosecutors.
Three things to remember:
What we know to be true is different than what we can "prove" in a court.
Statements said in public and in front of friends dont carry the same weight as written statements or statements made in front of a prosecutor. You can lie in public all day long, so long as you dont lie to the prosecutors.
Most prosecutors wont bring a case if they dont think they can win it. Unlike liberal prosecutors who will bring a case for political purposes or gain.

I hate to admit that Trump’s DoJ and FBI have treated the Obama & Hillary crime syndicates no differently than if Hillary was elected in 2016. Cannot understand why Trump allowed such gross malfeasance, but he has. Then again, how could Trump’s DoJ prosecute Brennan when two of the most senior plotters in the coup, Biden and Rice, may be the Democrat candidates for President & VP in 2020?
What’s truly odd is that coup plotter Joe stated this week that he would prosecute Trump if elected. No charges specified, but Biden knows that the FBi can frabricate a felony that his DOJ would falsely prosecute and that an Obama appoi;ted federal judge will gladly serve as co-prosecutor.

Hmmmm, well, we will know soon enough whether the government is so corrupt that short of starting all over in every agency, nothing changes. I just cannot accept that because we have always been the country that is able to beat the bad guys. Hope has kept my spirits up but it is waning at an alarming rate. I just pray that somehow we will find out that there are men of integrity willing to take on the behemoth of corruption that is destroying our beloved country. Time will tell. I feel so bad for the President because he seems to be the only one who really cares about holding criminals accountable.

I like the comments that start with “ what we know is” , we know nothing! We think we are getting straight information from our trusted sources, are we? The rich and powerful have led this country for ever. Get on YouTube and watch Men who built America. Some of these guys we probably thought was great and they were but at the end of the day they were in control. Some of the rich have different ideas and different beliefs but they didn’t getting rich being humble and kind. I can deal with that, it’s capitalism but this violence has to end. Allowing the crap that’s going on in Portland and the murders in Chicago and New York is total bull. The round up MS 13 is a good thing, why not antifa? At one time I felt GWB had our backs, I hope I don’t get burned by the Donald.

There may be zero prosecutions. Which will greatly disappoint all of us. But I place NO import on the this Examiner article. Same on them.

So former FBI Swecker, clearly the source for this speculation, knows what Durham is doing?
This is a guessing game, folks… Reporters are eager for tidbits. Guessers are happy to provide.
How would Swecker know what was going to come out of this.
As for “a lawyer familiar with the situation”, they’re all guessing. Trying to read moves …
This is intended to rattle us. That’s why they take the trouble to say “The news is sure to disappoint some of President Trump's most ardent supporters who believe Brennan and other top officials in the Obama administration.” It isn’t “news”. Just guessing.

If there are no criminal indictments, then the time and effort are wasted. Even if Durham reports that there is absolute proof of a conspiracy to overthrow the president, the MSM will never report it and the cretins will suffer no political consequences. again?!!! there it is, the living proof that there are two, or more, systems of justice in this country. my own personal feeling is, that it was installed covertly by the many democrat congresses which have infected our nation's capital. as long as there is a "swamp" nothing will change and examples like this will continue. we need 4 more years, or more, of the presidency of Donald J. Trump. vote non-democrat for all political offices in November. keep our country from falling into the hands of Moscow and Beijing.

Exactly, #36. We don’t know what will happen beyond our speculations.
The one thing I do know is that we have an all knowing, all powerful and omnipresent God, who does know everything that is going on and is in control in the affairs of men and nations, including the United States of America. His will is going to be done in spite of every deception and device to make it otherwise.
I’m still praying that there are enough people in our government and in our country who are doing the same, and that God will grant our country the mercy we so desperately need, but do not deserve.
God was with Gideon and the three hundred who defeated the Midianites by His grace. May He be with PDJT, grant him accurate information and knowledge, and bless him and the few who stand with him with guidance, strength, courage, health and safety to do what must be done for good to prevail and the evil of this “deep state” to be destroyed. To God be the glory! His will be done.
