Rush Limbaugh has been saying for weeks that Joe Biden would skip the presidential debates in the fall. Now former Clinton press secretary Joe Lockhart has taken to CNN.com to argue Biden should skip it, in an article headlined "Joe Biden could still lose this election." On Saturday, Michael Smerconish put him on TV to make the case, and quoted from it: "Whatever you do, don't debate Trump. Trump has now made more than 20,000 misleading or false statements according to the Washington Post. It's a fool's errand to enter the ring with someone who can't follow the rules or the truth."On Twitter, Sen. Ted Cruz cracked "Basement strategy,

26000 misleading or false statements which have yet to affect my life like "you can keep your insurance plan, you can keep your doctor, the average family will save $2500 annually..." 0 care cost me thousands of dollars and lost time which I will never get back ;while Trump has saved my family $thousands.

When "The Sniffer" speaks, it is just 'tossed word salad'.
Trump would have to use a word scrambler to respond to that gibberish!

Biden was willing to use the FBI to to SPY on Trump but he isn't up debating him? America is supposed to believe Biden is up to dealign with Kim Jong-un, Bashar al-Assad, and Xi Jinping but he isn't up to debating Trump because some political hack says that when Trump said "Good Morning". IT WAS A LIE!
That spin will work on the die hard that will vote for anything with a "D" but it isn't going to work on the Independent voters that make that make all the difference.

Oh, wow!! What chutzpah!!
The DEMOCRATS place themselves as the judge and jury on what's truthful. What brazen frauds!
Democrats will do anything for power. Pray to God, you and yours never come between them and what they want. The only human that matters to them they can see in a mirror. Everyone else is window dressing; targets for their lusts, or sources of wealth. All of us are disposable commodities created just for them.

Build Back Better Joe better get back in the basement and build back a better excuse for not debating Trump. If he doesn't he will come across as looking like a cowardly scared panty waisted little pussay. Hardly a man to stand up to another man in a battle of strength courage and dominance on the debate battlefield to determine who will be our President. A fighter or a coward?

You people can take this to the bank.
Old Jo's handlers/enablers will not let him debate face to face with the President.
At best, they will propose an arrangement where the two nominees will be stuck in two different cities, and a screwball panel of interrogators will toss questions at them.
And even in such a protective mode for Old Jo, it will not take place.
JFK and Nixon debated in 1960. LBJ refused to debate Goldwater in 1964. Nixon and Humphrey did not debate in 1968. Nixon and McGovern did not debate in 1972.
Carter held out for just one debate with Reagan, and insisted that if Anderson received 10 per cent polling, he be included. so the Harris Poll quickly served up the 10 per cent. (a friend worked for harris and admitted that to me.)

The debates will be the perfect time for Biden to refute "all the lies" that Trump has been repeating. All those 20,000+ lies. Biden should welcome the debates.

If that happens, I think President Trump should hire Jeff Dunham to make up a Puppet of Biden, and the be his voice during the Debate. Trump can ask the question and the Biden Puppet can answer. It would be a great show and it also would allow Trump to get his agenda out. Biden had better show, or, the "Empty Chair" (think Clint Eastwood) or the Biden Pupped could put on an unforgettable Show!

Senile Joe is no longer capable of stading up and carrying on even a rough approximation of a coherent train of thought.
He CAN'T debate because he can no longer track mentally past two sentences, even reading from a prompter or notes.

CNN happily floats the idea because Joe frankly doesn't know what they're talking about. I would like to see Joe say No I'm not debating and here's why. Then Are there any questions.

These staged events are not remotely like real debates and are largely a waste of time as all the candidates do is repeat the talking points everyone has heard scores of times. Now, if they would just put the two in a studio without an audience and with a moderator who would simply state a subject for discussion like "taxes" or "immigration" or "abortion" and let the two air their views on these with an open back-and-forth and no outside interruption we might, maybe, learn something. But as they stand these days I could care less if they take place or not. Besides, Biden is obviously incapable of carrying on a coherent discussion about anything so any kind of "debate" involving him would by like Wolverine versus fluffy bunny. The leftists know this so will likely refuse to participate this year (unless they oust Biden and replace him with someone who is at least aware of what day it is).

Biden can debate if he is given the questions ahead of time, in addition to having a device placed in his ear that gives him the answers. In addition to that, he will need a shot of some drug that will energize him. Cocaine, maybe?

Pres Trump needs to go on OFFENSE on this one.
Since in-person campaigning will be very limited this year, we should have a DEBATE in person. every week or 10 days from Labor Day to Election Day. Let's start Sept. 8, then Sept. 18, then Sept. 28, then Oct. 8, then Oct. 18, then Oct. 28. Let Rachel Madcow have one of them and Sean Hannity another and the other Dem media folks do the other 6. They can set up a sound stage in NY, DC, Delaware, heck, pick the place and do it there every time with a minimal audience. No spin room.
Joe and his handlers know, even with the fix being in (all the moderators are going to be pro-Biden), that Trump will wipe the floor with him in debates. Call him on being a chicken, but Biden realizes that the only publicity that the RAT infested media whore are going to give Pres. Trump a chance at a somewhat-fair shot are the debates.
And we can't have that, right?

I don't see the problem. They would give Biden the questions (and answers) in advance. Apparently, they believe Biden is too far gone mentally to even manage that! Maybe democrats would like to have mail-in debates, with democrat operatives ''harvesting'' Biden's responses!

Biden is just a placeholder. The Democrats don't really expect him to win anything. They plan to cause so much election day confusion, with riots, mail-in debacles, vote fraud, China Virus fears, and law suits, that the winner (Trump) will still be undeclared at the end of January, at which time Nancy Pelosi, as House Speaker, will be installed as President. And the Marxist/Democrats will never, ever let go of power again...

I don't believe there will be any debates. The demosluts can't risk Biden having a major brain lapse every five seconds. There will be excuses from the demosluts and Biden handlers leading up to the September debate date.

Great opportuinity to get rid of these phony Pestidential "debates". They're not debates at all, just gotcha parties for the media to take a dump on the GOP while coaching the commie. Good riddance.
