Rep. Sanford D. Bishop Jr. may have used thousands in campaign funds for personal expenses on gas fill-ups for him and his family, greens fees at country clubs, luxurious trips and school tuition.
Further, the Georgia Democrat also may have spent more than $16,000 in taxpayer money for joint Christmas parties — featuring a saxophonist and DJ equipment — with his congressional staff and his wife’s employees, according to an Office of Congressional Ethics report released Friday.
The OCE report was released because the House Ethics Committee decided to further extend its investigation into Bishop.

Just another criminal in the CBC. Just a common black street mugger or carjacker, but in a suit and tie.

Bishop should be gone. What values and ethics! Democrats have none. They are all about self, greed, and lies.

Typical democrat. They think tax dollars are for their personal use. Of course, so do many Republicans but they are not as blatant about it.
All politicians should undergo an audit every year and be able to explain how they legally received any money that exceeds their paycheck!

It's why democrats get into government once on the money train they never get off unless caught and jailed.
Is there any question about the misuse of funds but his family's skin color is an advantage.

Excerpts from article: $16,000 in taxpayer money for joint Christmas parties — campaign funds to pay for personal fuel charges —— From 2009 to 2019 Bishop’s campaign committee paid over $30,000 in campaign funds for membership dues, range fees among other expenditures. Bishop paid a $5,000 initiation fee with campaign funds to join Green Island. Between 2014 and 2019, Bishop spent over $16,200 in campaign funds on meals and golf cart fees. Bishop took a three-day golf trip in 2018, funded by campaign dollars, to Reynolds Lake Oconee, a luxury golf and lakeside resort in Georgia. Bishop and his guests played three rounds of golf, each costing over $1,000. Their stay at a cottage cost the campaign over $2,300.
Either Bishop, or his wife pressured the country club to mislabel Christmas party invoices as “constituents meetings.” That is proof beyond doubt of criminal intent. A Republican would have resigned under indictment. But CBC felony thefts are dismissed as “errors.” The two tiered justice system is SOP.

to reply #4: Nancy will openly congratulate Rep. Sanford D. Bishop Jr, as a great leader in the black (lower case b) community (emphasis on commune), but won't openly admit he is a fine house save for the Democrat Party.

Maybe we are to blame because how many of us never ran for office ? They run for office because they know how many blacks vote for the black candidate and how many whites never vote regularly.
