“And I say … segregation today … segregation tomorrow … segregation forever.”
Fifty-seven years ago, the newly sworn-in Democrat governor of Alabama, George Wallace, delivered those words in his inaugural address.
In other words: George Wallace, who was a product of a political party that built its political power by supporting every imaginable policy that divided Americans by race, was at it again. Using the momentary pulpit that was a governor’s inaugural to play the race card — again.
Yesterday there was a new George Wallace. He appeared in an Atlanta church to eulogize the late Democratic Congressman John Lewis, Lewis a certifiable hero of the 1960s civil rights movement.

Didn't George Wallace have a conversion near the end of his life where he apologized for his racist actions? Does Obama have any forgiveness? Why spend time trying to effect change if one cannot accept the results when people really do change? Obama obviously has too much hate stored in his own heart for forgiveness.

'Beer summits' anyone? In my own mind, race relations went in the toilet during O'mama's administration along with any general respect for the rule of law. All of our current riot troubles can be laid at the feet of our last president and his moneyed puppeteers. Sadly, idiocy like the 1619 project, will write for decades hagiographs, not history, as if Obama was a shining star and Mooch the most beautiful woman on the planet instead of someone whose profile should never permitted to be photographed.

So Lewis is a hero now? No wonder he had all those funerals.
I don't remember segregation giving the country as many problems as integration has provided for us.

Sissy Obama has joined the “peaceful protestors” false narrative. It’s amazing that the Democrats still think they control the narrative. How arrogant are they that they believe the people who actually live in these hell holes (and are not rapid leftists) want constant chaos. Trump has driven them all crazy.

If I had a shot of bourbon every time a news person said of Lewis "a civil rights icon"I would be in a rehab center drying out. As far as I'm concerned he was nothing but a mean, partisan hack. That conk on the head in Selma really addled his brain.

If it weren't for racism Barry the 'Not Natural Born Citizen of America' would have never been elected by Marxist Communist democrats, for the Globalist of the Marxist Communist One World Government. The Federal Election Commission should have done it's proper job of ruling him "Not eligible" under our Constitution. It looks like our complete government is being controlled by Marxist Communist democrats, rino's, liberals, independents, who have all sworn their allegiance to the Marxist Communist Globalist One World Government.

Why is John Lewis a certifiable hero?
Did he march for Civil Rights because he felt all men should be treated as equals, or did he march because he is a racist black man.
His deeds as a Democrat in the House tell me he marched because he was a racist not because he felt any great and noble cause for Civil Rights was achieved.

Obama is and has always been a condescending despicable man and the snippets of his political speech at John Lewis’s funeral did not surprise or disappoint. I would say that it was an extremely inappropriate venue, but John Lewis could have made the same speech at Obama’s funeral. Lewis was not the saint everyone made him out to be. He was just another poisonous hateful Democrat politician. May they both rest in peace.

John Lewis is still above ground how long ago did he pass away? Civil Rights 'icon' more like a dumb ugly hateful eyesore if you ask me. I'm not going to listen to Obama I didn't when he was president I'm going to start now but Lewis like Obama rode the unforgiveable racist train for all it's worth. Obama single handedly canceled the American Civil War and all who died fighting died in vain. Obama is a low IQ racist idiot along with his angry ugly wife.

Barack Hussein Obama has set back race relations 60 years. He is a pure racist bigot who incites violence then blames others for the results of his actions. You see, the only systemic racism in our country exists in the black communities. Their hatred of the white community and the police is appalling. Thankfully there are many black leaders who are not part of this scam. Got it.

AG Barr and Durham must have Obie in their crosshairs. Otherwise, Obie in his desperation would not suddenly be craving relevance. So he will use his civil rights and racism schtick as an insurance policy in an attempt to insulate himself from prosecution. Then he'll play the victim card - the federal government picking on a poor defenseless black man again. The musty smell of the federal anti-sedition statutes are starring him in the face. Wishful thinking? We'll see. Now, won't we, Obie.

Eight years as POTUS and he controlled both houses of Congress ... and accomplished nothing. Now he's still complaining.
If given the opportunity to wave a magic wand and re-write history this mean spirited and hateful fool would gladly turn the tables and have the slave holders all made black --- as long as all the slaves became white. So much for redemption & forgiveness in his own eyes!

The august Fauxbama accomplished next to nothing during 8 years in office, but for one thing--he set back race relations by at least a generation, perhaps two. Now he speaks in stentorian tones, desperately attempting to make himself relevant (in the absence of any palpable accomplishments), but all that he is accomplishing is the further setting back of racial relations. This man was elected president based on a speech that he gave at a democrat convention. Period. In the Illinois legislature he frequently voted 'present' except, that is, when he was supporting partial-birth abortion. Once elected he governed from the left, rather than from the center (which was the drift of his speech). There was an 18thc parliament member whose career consisted of a single speech ('Single Speech Hamilton'); we should adopt a similar title for the august Fauxbama.

First, the article fails to credit FDR. His entire program was intended to subjugate black to the government. Welfare programs would destroy the family and make blacks vote Dem forever. "I'll have the n****r vote for 50 years."
Second, the article fails to credit Woodrow Wilson, who segregated the Military Services. What a giant of civil rights he was!

Barry Obama is still fanning the flames of mythical systemic racism against blacks in the USA. This is coming from the guy that rushed to conclusions in the Ferguson justifiable shooting of the hoodlum that attacked the white officer. Anyone that stills takes what this baffoon has to say seriously if a complete moron.

My recollection is that after being a segregationist for many years, George Wallace underwent a chance of heart. He called and spoke to many black civil rights leaders and explained his change of heart and asked for their forgiveness. And they forgave him.
Obama, on the other hand, has never changed, has remained the Racist, and, as we saw at Lewis' funeral, is today spewing racial hatred that is just as vile and mean-spirited as ever.
Over a hundred years ago, Booker T. Washington, who was born a slave and rose to become one of the founders of the Tuskeegee Institute (of Tuskeegee Airmen fame) said this:
"There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs. There is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don't want the patient to get well."
Hmmmm..... 'Rev' Jesse 'Shakedown' Jackson, 'Rev' Al 'Tawana Brawley' Sharpton, Obama 'The Police Acted Stupidly' Obama, to name three.
