The internet is awash with conspiracy theories about President Trump and Ghislaine Maxwell. These theories don’t claim that Trump was somehow involved in the despicable sex trafficking and other perversions of which Maxwell stands accused. Instead, they revolve around Trump’s seemingly careless statement that he wishes Maxwell “well.”
What could that mean? If you take the time to think it through, what it means is that Trump is a very smart man.

If PDJT doesn’t say a word all the haters would be happy. OTOH , isn’t our judiciary supposed to be impartial? Of all people he knows what a crap shoot that is and irony is appropriate.

He wished her well... big deal.
I hope she makes it through the justice system alive- and is able to be cross examined. I want there to be fact finding and discovery .
I wish her well too... the state of NY doesn’t have a very good track record on keeping high value prisoners alive.

Hilargo and Chelsaria Clintonista keep volunteering for 3rd shift in Ghislaine Maxwell's cell block. We'll know the day after when they've been successful in their requests.

I suppose he wishes her well meaning she will live through confinement so she can testify and give evidence against those who are guilty.

Clearly, Trump is hoping that Maxwell does not commit Arkancide while in prison.

I wish her well too. Shockingly she doesn't have any videos of me of any sort.
The unwritten part of my wish her well statement is I don't want her to be murdered like Epstein before she gets to out the whole set of sick vermin. Then I have to reach deep into my faith to care the slightest. If I had to hazard a guess I suggest Trump's well wishing is quite in line with mine.

From today’s Babylon Bee,
New York Times Accidentally Publishes Ghislaine Maxwell Obituary Ahead Of Schedule
July 21st, 2020
Satirical article notes that the Times pulled obituary after Hillary’s aides contacted the editor to say it was meant for this Friday, not earlier in the week, The Bee uses Trump’s quote about wishing her well.

Anyone whose brain isn't drenched with hatred for PDT knows perfectly well he hopes she doesn't call Killary's Suicide Hotline.

They are so steeped in TDS that they don’t get, or hope the rest of us don’t get, what amounts to sarcasm.
They pretzel PDJT’s words into what they want them to be.

My guess is that Mr. Trump is just trying to stay out of the entire sordid affair. Why aren't the media talking about Mr. Clinton's numerous trips to Epstein's island? We all know why.

Isn't Maxwell in Federal custody? She was not arrested in New York. Why would New York be in charge of her confinement?
I think a lesson was learned with Epstein. It will be harder to kill Maxwell, unless she is left to the state for protection!

All the headlines I saw treated it as though he brought it up himself. He was responding to the media’s question. Wishing someone well is a bland expression like how do you do. The media is made up of idiots.

Actually #1, no they would not. They would slam him under any and all circumstances, whether he says something or not. Sounds almost like he was issuing a warning to those who want to do her harm and silence her in her cell. But if I understand correctly, she has many back up contingencies which would be released to the public upon her injury/death. So this is going to be an interesting several months, watching to see how she does.

Why must POTUS comment on any pending prosecution, let alone one that is this sordid? How is “wishing her well” smarter than “no comment?” Political parties are there to support the official actions of their leaders, but not to tie themselves into knots trying to explain, excuse or rationalize every bizarre comment by someone who prefers to weigh in on every controversial topic in the world. It is just another pointless issue to absorb by an electorate weary of the daily bewildering distractions. God help us.

In some circles, "I wish her well" means the same thing as "Bless her heart".

I wish her well, too. In the hope she isn't suicided while in jail or prison. Only the right would catch that meaning, the left doesn't have a clue.

In the first place why would a media reporter ask the President a question concerning Ghislaine Maxwell that was irrelevant to the topic of the COVID-19 virus briefing? Only one reason to get credit for initiating some politically based controversy. To stop that, the President should not answer any question that is off topic during future COVID-19 briefings.
