The left shows their colors, pun intended. Black Chicago lives don’t matter, especially if it puts Trump in a good light.

Trump opponents will say he’s a dictator and by sending in federal agents he is inflicting white supremacy on the poor blank people there. It’s going to be a you can’t win situation. Just wait until those agents are ambushed and killed or wounded. Could get ugly.

Send no federal law enforcement in and let the mobs burn Chicago down. Let the killing continue until the local citizens have had enough and take matters into their own hands and vote out all Democrat elected criminals out of office. Only way this stops is with new leadership elected and a severe crackdown on the rioting mobs.

Assist the Chicago Police? Now that's funny. Maybe they can buy them coffee and donuts while they sit in their cars and listen to the distant gunfire. Hopefully lots of snipers are included in the group and they have ammo big enough to take out the cars of drive-by baby shooters.

The California Department of Transportation has agreed to pay $2 million for destroying belongings during sweeps of homeless encampments from 2014 to 2019. The class-action lawsuit, filed in 2016 on behalf of unhoused Californians, claims that belongings, including, food, clothing, and medical supplies, were destroyed during the sweeps enacted by Caltrans. The Alameda County Superior Court approved the settlement last week. Under the ruling, Caltrans is required to set up a $1.3 million fund to compensate people for their loss of property and give $700,000 to the nonprofit organization Homeless Action Center to provide housing and benefits services for the unhoused.

San Francisco Mayor London Breed recently spoke with Vogue about certain white progressives involved in the recent demonstrations following the death of George Floyd, and did not have very nice things to say. Breed stated that while she's happy more white Americans are now supportive of the Black Lives Matter movement — recent polling shows upwards of 60% of white Americans support the protests and calls for police reform — she has "a real problem with the takeover of the movement by white people." "I want people to respect the opinions and feelings of Black people and allow us to decide what is in our best interest," Breed told Vogue.
With coronavirus antibodies fading fast,

Disturbing new revelations that permanent immunity to the coronavirus may not be possible have jeopardized vaccine development and reinforced a decision by scientists at UCSF and affiliated laboratories to focus exclusively on treatments. Several recent studies conducted around the world indicate that the human body does not retain the antibodies that build up during infections, meaning there may be no lasting immunity to COVID-19 after people recover. Strong antibodies are also crucial in the development of vaccines. So molecular biologists fear the only way left to control the disease may be to treat the symptoms after people are infected to prevent the most debilitating effects, including inflammation, blood clots and death.

Brushing aside worries of spurring a new border surge, House Democrats led the push Wednesday to slash ICE funding, saying they were determined to punish the agency for “willful disregard of Congress’s role” in setting immigration priorities. Democrats on the House Appropriations Committee also voted to undo the key Trump policies that helped solve last year’s border surge, including new standards for asylum-seekers and deals with Mexico and Central American nations that helped slow the flow of people headed north. Rep. David Price, North Carolina Democrat, said they were intent on pushing back on “cruel and arbitrary immigration policies” they say have distorted the immigration system.

Iran and China have quietly drafted a sweeping economic and security partnership that would clear the way for billions of dollars of Chinese investments in energy and other sectors, undercutting the Trump administration’s efforts to isolate the Iranian government because of its nuclear and military ambitions. The partnership, detailed in an 18-page proposed agreement, would vastly expand Chinese presence in banking, telecommunications, ports, railways and dozens of other projects. In exchange, China would receive a regular — and, according to an Iranian official and an oil trader, heavily discounted — supply of Iranian oil over the next 25 years.
