As if 2020 Wasn’t Contentious Enough

As the summer rolls along with far too many of us than is necessary or wise under lockdown and travel restrictions, we deal with the failings of our infectious disease bureaucracy, the likelihood of another Supreme Court battle, and what Conrad Black correctly calls “The Nightmare Campaign of Outright Idiocy.” Hang tough. Reason will prevail.
1.) The Incompetence of the Federal Disease Control Bureaucracy
The White House has finally had it with the incompetence and partisanship of the CDC, and it couldn’t come fast enough for me. It has ordered all data on COVID-19 to be sent directly to the Department of Health and Human Services bypassing the CDC completely.

Yes, indeed, a cruel corruption has infected the leftist CDC who has been caught cooking the books and the true rate of COVID infections. And to think that CDC is one small subset of an equally corrupt medical establishment. The President is quite correct in having all COVID data sent directly to the Department of Human Health Services who will process and report the data.
Regarding Clarice's discussion on judicial appointments and the health of Ruth Ginsberg, unless Ruthie either keels over or otherwise resigns from the SCOTUS in the next month or two, don't expect a SCOTUS nomination by Trump to be an issue for the time being. Her passing/resignation and the subsequent nomination will more likely happen after his re-election. And, oh, by the way, the pubbies need to keep control of the Senate in order to put Judge Amy Barrett on the bench.
Clarice's third discussion regarding urban violence - the rioting, blm protests, and racism, these are explosive enough as it is thanks to Soros and the dims. But, she should have discussed the cancel culture and its out of control destructive force.
It appeared that Clarice was also going to discuss the status of AG Barr's Spygate investigation, but, she must have gotten tired and didn't include it. When Durham and Barr blow the lid off of Spygate and Durham's report is published now by September, the subsequent grand jury indictments, criminal trials, prison terms, and accompanying vitriol from the msm will rip at the soul of the nation for years. But, rule of law must obviously prevail here in order for the nation to survive as a Constitutional Republic.
I appreciate Clarice's assertion at the end of her piece that Americans are not about to support a dim party of corruption and lies. She will be right as long as we all vote.

I disagree that Clarice is anti-Trump; rather I think she's the voice of reason and a never miss her on Sunday morning. I'm just sorry she didn't mention the tally of 'cases' include all tests regardless of their being repetitious per individuals and one more case. In other words, one person's being tested positive every day for fifteen
days is included as fifteen cases! Our counts are garbage and not eve consistent between states.

Number 1, you seem to have confused the author with someone else. Clarice is not a never-Trumper and never was.

Clarice should be an automatic must read. I get up on Sunday and look for her post before reading the must reads. She is always spot on.
#1 - You either have her confused with someone else or you are a troll. Clarice is about as pro Trump as it gets. I have never seen an unkind word about our President in her work.

The CDC would have to be staffed by morons to combine the two data types. They are all about statistical analysis and this issue is from Statistics 101.
This was deliberate to inflate COVID numbers. That is criminal. Certainly deserving of immediate termination from ANY government service. The penetration of the Deep State and the depths to which they will sink continues to astonish. These people are committing a form of domestic terrorism by inducing fear and sabotaging efforts to restart the economy and resume education.
Add this to the inflated death numbers because liberals areas are labeling 100% of deaths in some areas as "COVID" related. This is insane.
I am looking forward to seeing Trump win YUGE and RBG realizing that she can't outlast his presidency. She may still drag her feet but I agree, the odds of her living much longer are small.
As to the thugs in the street, as soon as the election is over their usefulness and their ability to get away with their antics will end. They will scurry away back into their sewers. I hope the DOJ has had the opportunity to trace some of their money and organizational sources by then. Maybe we can have a "special investigation" of the Left's conspiracies and actions.

Early on, Covid had been predicted to take 2-3 million lives. When actual fatalities were only a small percentage of that it made the Fauci/CDC cabal look incompetent or malevolent. I'm betting on malevolent,

One of the labs, maybe LabCorp?, was reporting positive tests on unused swabs sent in by nurses in a San Francisco hospital. They had become suspicious after an extremely high number of positives for swabs submitted for screening. They began sending unused swabs along with used ones, and all came back positive. I'm not seeing anything about that now. The media has declared it a hoax. ???

I don't know what's going on with Clarice being a must-read. I try to get up early enough on Sundays to post her at the right time to be included in the recently posted pieces that become must-reads and I thought I hit it right today, but I guess not. To my mind this surely is a must-read.

#3, I have a personal anecdote about another aspect of ramping up the case numbers....a friend in Tennessee went to be tested with his entire immediate family - 12 people. They arrived at the clinic, registered and sat down to wait. Two hours later, they were sent home because the clinic had run out of test kits. Two weeks later, each of them received a notice in the mail stating that they had tested positive.
Another scam I’ve heard about is that if you go to be tested and are sitting in the waiting room with X number of other people and one of them tests positive, then the clinic assumes that you are positive too since you’ve been “exposed” while sitting in the waiting room. Even if your test is negative, you are reported as positive.
If we ever get the truth, we will learn that the numbers of cases and deaths was inflated by about 900%.

The circumstance of her left-wing holiness, RBG, intrigues me. The dems don't want to be beating the drums over her impending passing (and replacement) too obviously--it would be unseemly and disrespectful so long as RBG remains healthy enough to show up to work.
If RBG does pass before November, the dems will be in full-throated battle stance for getting any Senate Republican voted out and replaced by any dem contender, however socialist or incompetent.
If RBG should pass soon, I wonder whether the President and the Senate should not be too hurried to replace her. Doing so could provoke a backlash and give the dems a greater get-out-the-vote impetus than the Republicans, both in the White House and the Senate.
I'm not at all confident of these musings, merely surmising. In general, I think the nomination of sensible, conservative judges is a good issue for the Republicans. Replacing RBG may be a bit different, since an arch-conservative justice could greatly pivot the Court, and the dems would argue that only by electing Biden and a few more dem Senators can an "even balance" on the Court be preserved.
It's anyone's guess how well the alternative arguments and counter-arguments would play to the electorate. You can bet that the dems will make more emotional and deceptive, dishonest arguments, and make them more persuasively to their ignorant supporters, than the Republicans will make to their supporters.

We, the American people would be somewhat fortunate if this was just incompetence. But it is deliberate political sabotage. These (CDC) people are no different than the Antifa and BLM thugs causing public mayhem.

#1 may have been thinking of Jennifer Rubin, a real foaming-at-the-mouth Never Trump nutjob.
By the way, what's the over-and-under on when the "Notorious" RBG becomes the "Posthumous" RBG?
I would not make fun of a decent human being. Ginsburg doesn't come close to qualifying.

Well, thank you Clarice for sharing some factual info with us.....refreshing....just too bad the MSM apparently hasn't seen fit to share any of this with us! No wonder polling and voting (the ultimate poll) is so 'messed up'. The media really does have an outsize influence on our body politic, expecially by consistent omission of the facts!
And, #14, those incidents are absolutely appalling! Also, hard to believe, tho' I'm not doubting their authenticity. It's difficult not to be disheartened by all the current goings-on; basic morality seems to be disintegrating faster than we can even keep up.

Good Lord. The CDC has surpassed itself in incompetence and hatefulness, willfully twisting data because they hate President Trump. They are the worst.
