Brushing aside worries of spurring a new border surge, House Democrats led the push Wednesday to slash ICE funding, saying they were determined to punish the agency for “willful disregard of Congress’s role” in setting immigration priorities. Democrats on the House Appropriations Committee also voted to undo the key Trump policies that helped solve last year’s border surge, including new standards for asylum-seekers and deals with Mexico and Central American nations that helped slow the flow of people headed north. Rep. David Price, North Carolina Democrat, said they were intent on pushing back on “cruel and arbitrary immigration policies” they say have distorted the immigration system.

This is just a small sample of what they will do the first opportunity they get if they ever control the House Senate and White House. Are you scared? Worried? Motivated to stop them in November? Let’s roll.

If the leftist and liberal Democrats take over the country in November and implement their “Open Borders” immigration non-enforcement policy proposals, it would not be long before there would no longer be a USA, as besides the massive individual mass migrations that such ill conceived public policies would encourage, foreign governments could then load up their unwanted surplus population groups and ship them to the US borders, thus swamping the USA with untold millions, maybe hundreds of millions of poor, uneducated, unskilled, and socialist minded foreigners, who the Democrats would attempt to register as Democrat voters until they themselves become overrun by newly formed much more radical and politically savage groups. In other words it would be another destruction of society as the Roman Empire experienced back in antiquity. Any American would have to be either nuts or very stupid to vote for a political party the espoused such ideas.

“willful disregard of Congress’s role”? Seems to me trying to enforce the laws passed by Congress was following Congress's role. What they really mean is not following the Democrat party orders.

Politics 101...the House originate spending bills. The Dems lard it up with these sorts of freebies, giveaways and social justice nonsense with the expectation that the Senate will strip them out. Then the Dems use the deletions as campaign fodder. The GOP does the same with the crazy budget-busting socialist Dem inclusions, before they negotiate a lousy giveaway, "best we could do" final act in Conference. Then PDT signs it.

If the LeftIst Congress doesn’t like what a law enforcement agency does then change the law. Go on the record.

San Francisco Mayor London Breed recently spoke with Vogue about certain white progressives involved in the recent demonstrations following the death of George Floyd, and did not have very nice things to say. Breed stated that while she's happy more white Americans are now supportive of the Black Lives Matter movement — recent polling shows upwards of 60% of white Americans support the protests and calls for police reform — she has "a real problem with the takeover of the movement by white people." "I want people to respect the opinions and feelings of Black people and allow us to decide what is in our best interest," Breed told Vogue.
With coronavirus antibodies fading fast,

Disturbing new revelations that permanent immunity to the coronavirus may not be possible have jeopardized vaccine development and reinforced a decision by scientists at UCSF and affiliated laboratories to focus exclusively on treatments. Several recent studies conducted around the world indicate that the human body does not retain the antibodies that build up during infections, meaning there may be no lasting immunity to COVID-19 after people recover. Strong antibodies are also crucial in the development of vaccines. So molecular biologists fear the only way left to control the disease may be to treat the symptoms after people are infected to prevent the most debilitating effects, including inflammation, blood clots and death.

Iran and China have quietly drafted a sweeping economic and security partnership that would clear the way for billions of dollars of Chinese investments in energy and other sectors, undercutting the Trump administration’s efforts to isolate the Iranian government because of its nuclear and military ambitions. The partnership, detailed in an 18-page proposed agreement, would vastly expand Chinese presence in banking, telecommunications, ports, railways and dozens of other projects. In exchange, China would receive a regular — and, according to an Iranian official and an oil trader, heavily discounted — supply of Iranian oil over the next 25 years.
