Fifteen female former Redskins employees are accusing the organization of sexual harassment and fostering a toxic culture of abuse, according to an explosive report by the Washington Post. The women say they were subject to unwelcome comments and sexual advances, and encouraged to dress provocatively and flirt with sales clients. Of the five male employees at the center of the accusations, three left the organization in the last week as The Post presented findings to the team and asked for response. Team owner Daniel Snyder is not accused of sexual harassment, but members of his inner circle are, and he was blamed for supplying

Perhaps changing the team name will help. How does the Washington Unicorns sound? And they con change the team colors to pink and yellow. What do ya think?

Like other posters, I question the timing of the claim of harassment. Fourteen wasn't enough? They had to have 15?. This smells more like the desire for a payoff than a cry for justice.

Well as soon as the Redskin owner caved on the name change he showed his weakness, and in effect opened the door to all sorts of historic grievances that are going to cost him a lot of money.

I already stopped watching football. I don’t care what happens to any team.

The nickname of the Washington Football Team should be the Epsteins. That matches the ownership conduct toward women who worked for the franchise.

#6 nailed it. When you give the lie-berals an inch, they sense that you are weak, and they demand more and more!!! And with the current #metoo mentality in DC, they had better just lean over and get ready to take it.
And I don't even feel sorry for them. They folded on the name. All the other things they will be folding on are just formalities now.

It's all out war on the Redskins. They showed weakness regarding the name. Now a book is coming out to trash the past administrations. All of a sudden 15 woman are claiming sexual harassment. Stay tuned. The dam is breaking. The NFL itself is under attack with a new-found special emphasis on the Redskins. The Commissioner could not be doing more harm to the League if he was trying, and he's being paid millions per year. For what? Unless he changes his ways the League is going to be a shell of its past. People are seriously trying to destroy professional football but he is clueless in this regard. Football players and the player's union better wake up, and fast!

If the teams are going to release personnel for sexual harassment, then they may as well go ahead and let all the players go.

That's it? That's the big story they teased all day? Is that all Jeff Bezos and the Washington Post can muster to attack the Redskins because they have delayed changing their name? Geez. Got to be better fodder than this. Let's do a similar investigation of Amazon, or even the Post for that matter. Probably worse. (And I am not a Redskins fan!)

What else is new? Several years ago, it was reported that the then-named "Redskins" took several of their major sponsors and a bevy of their cheerleaders to some Central American resort and insisted that the young ladies, shall we say to be polite, "entertain" the hosts and their guests.

Taking advantage of a moment when the cancel culture is ready to pounce on anybody who dares defend anything about the team. Even to question the timing of this risks incurring accusatory deprecation.
