The CEO of Goya Foods admitted Friday he is facing a backlash after praising President Donald Trump at White House event - but said: 'I'm not apologizing.'Among those calling for a boycott were Democratic congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and model Chrissy Teigen, an outspoken Trump critic who tweeted: 'Don’t care how good the beans taste though. Bye bye.' Goya was founded in Manhattan in 1936 by Don Prudencio Unanue and his wife Carolina, immigrants from Spain. The company calls itself the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the United States and remains in family control, with an estimated value of $3 billion.

Just like #1, I and millions of conservatives will go out and clear the shelves of Goya products. Before idiots like AOC start boycotting companies they should think back several years to the homosexual boycott of Chik-fil-A and how well that worked for them. I predict that Goya sales will skyrocket.

This Spaniard CEO was so eloquent at this event. I knew the left would go nutso at his public reverence for God and his admiration for President Trump. I have tried some of their canned beans. The quality is a cut above and thus, price point is a bit higher. I will buy more now!

Who cares what AOC or Chrissy Teigen says. We know what and who AOC is but let me introduce to Chrissy Teigen. She is a washed up model, she has a trashy mouth and she has a serious drinking problem. When she is trashed from drinking, she goes after Melania Trump. She calls our wonderful classy first last every low disgusting name. No one can take this low life washed up model serious.
I will make it my goal to purchase Goya when ever I go shopping. I do purchase a lot of their products and will continue to support this company.

First. I have bought Goya products several times. They are excellent and very reasonably priced. AO says she is going to Google how to make Safrito (one of their products used often in Latin cooking which is excellent BTW)
Doesn't Ms. Latina already know how to make Safrito? You know how she's such a down for the struggle Latina after all from the hood. That hood being leafy Westchester County!
Second Christy foul mouthed Tiegan was on page 6 in the NY Post this week in a bikini and believe me she should definitely boycott Goya and all food manufacturers. Her butt looked like a can of beans.

Their “cancel culture” reeks more of a
“Cancer culture”....
Now they attack a Hispanic family company with roots dating back to Spain?
They’re sick and nobody should want any part of their deadly “Cancer culture”
NOBODY!

Agree with #16. Neither AOC or CT is one of our country's best and brightest. Neither do their opinions count more than mine. I have no idea who CT is or why she is a celebrity but she certainly does not impress. I will refrain from commenting on her looks since to do so would be mean and beneath who we are on this site.
I will be checking out Goya's products the next time I shop since I like to support companies who love this country and are not afraid to show it.
When their sales skyrocket this CEO should thank AOC and CT for their help; I'd love to see their heads explode.

Mr . Unanue was born in NJ. His family is staunchly conservative and very religious. John Legend is a legend in his own mind. She had a surrogate in her first pregnancy because she could not stop drinking.
Goya sells canned and dried beans , lentils etc. they also have frozen products that are delicious. All sorts of different condiments. They are very popular .

Here is a true profile in courage. He's willing to put his financial interests at great risk rather than take the easy route of remaining silent.
But I fear that "easy route of remaining silent" will not be easy for long. As in all Fascist regimes, the Left now preaches that "Silence = Violence." In other words, a conservative will no longer be able to simply remain silent when confronted by the Fascists. If you don't mouth the Party Line, you will be treated as though you espoused hateful speech and destroyed.

Right behind you # 1 !!! Since when does the undereducated AOC vegetable and the heavy weight 'model' Teigen tell me what to think and what to speak!!?!?!?!? AOC steal some more tips and pour her another drink, so that she can dream of being a model! I am headed to the supermarket for Goya products!!

I've stopped listening to the likes of Chrissy Teigen, and her husband John Legend.
Maybe raising taxes on the modeling, acting, and live performing sectors, however, could be done to ensure those rich people pay their fair share?

But I have been burned too many times by supporting someone who stood up to the lie-beral fascists, I bought their products or services to support them, and then they folded and apologized.

He stands up for his First Amendment rights by not kneeling to the left. The huge problem for supporters of Donald Trump is that very few Republicans in the House of Representatives and U.S. Senate will do the same. Too many spineless wimps who are afraid to speak out. It's very disappointing.
