Last week I wrote about how we’re in a cultural civil war and it’s time for conservatives—and really, anyone who’s not on board with the radical anti-American agenda of Black Lives Matter and the rest of the woke left—to fight back. But how? I was light on specifics, and subsequently heard from a number of readers who wanted to know what they could do, personally, to push back against the leftward lurch of the culture. Many said they feel powerless and overwhelmed, and with good reason.Silicon Valley, Hollywood, academia, the mainstream media, corporate America, and the entire Democratic Party (along with not a few Republicans and Independents)

I'm already doing all of them.
Friends don't let friends use Google. Google is evil.
Amazon hates you. Go to the actual online seller, avoid doing business with Amazon.
Find out what companies support BLM, try to stop using their products. I switched entirely to Schick when Gillette insulted normal sane men. I will NOT watch movies with certain outspoken leftist actors and actresses in any way which might make them a dollar. Free on TV...might watch, but never in a theater, or pay per view.
Little things add up. If 20 million of us stop using Amazon and Google, it hurts them badly.

Just added duckduckgo. Easy peasy. Next: Amazon.

Rent a sound truck. Have them play Lee Greenwood doing “God Bless the USA” over and over at the next “protest”.

Don't forget to pray. And speak up. The recent videos of old people fighting back and standing up to raving mad bullies have been encouraging. They're not fighting just for themselves; they love their country and their families. They know what's at stake and what's happening, so if they can fight back, about to fall as they fight (funny, but God bless them), then the rest of US can fight back too. The Googles, Amazons, etc. are huge and they've taken over while we were silent. It's going to take more than not using them; they must be completely taken over or destroyed. Even if you switch to a competitor, these days you can't trust that competitor to stay onboard. Leftism has its tentacles everywhere, and it looks like they have the capacity to win; but looks can be so deceiving when God does His thing.

Careful what you change over to. DuckDuckGo is also a Leftist company, just as bad as Google. Supposedly, Yippy is not a Leftist ap and I will be using it, for now. As far as Amazon goes, do you want free shipping or do you want freedom? Can't have both if you use amazon. Anyway, my 2 cents worth.

I use Bing as search engine- schools use the G suite. I took the level one training for educators.. have yet to take exam to be certified . I was appalled at the level of privacy invasion... and data collection.
I logged off, and am collecting all my photos from Facebook- and deleting account, same with Twitter.
I have Instagram, but my former students need a way to stay connected With me..
I don’t use Amazon much- prefer books used..
#smallstepsbigchanges
And.. yes- support school alternative to public.. but just know, Muslim schools are starting up- and vouchers will go to them as well..
Forewarned..

Yes, we should definitely support alternatives to public school. Unfortunately, John's suggestions to finance the alternatives are beyond the means for many parents. The first educational reform effort needs to take place at the state capitol with a revocation of truancy laws and a complete revamp of the public school property tax scheme including supplemental boondoggles such as wind turbines and solar panels. Everyone pays property taxes even renters. The owner of the property pays these taxes so this burden needs to be lifted and funds returned to the families. I am suspicious of vouchers because we would be charged taxes and the vouchers would go through the state middle man. The conflict of paying "tuition" twice for a kid in a private school has to be stopped. I doubt if any state rep or senator has the guts to do this, but you never know.

No network TV. No professional sports. No government schools. No donations to colleges or universities.

I am also already doing this. Avoid social media.
Amazon is not cheaper than other stores and the quality is terrible. Last time I bought something from them it was a total piece of junk.

I disagree wholeheartedly. I will not play impotent RINO to social media.
