Former New York Times reporter Alex Berenson has a perfect name for the mainstream media’s coverage of COVID-19: “Panic Porn.”Take this headline: “COVID-19 hospitalizations in Texas hit another record Monday.” “Hospitalizations of patients with the novel coronavirus in Texas reached an all-time high Monday after breaking records for nearly every day the previous two weeks,” read the lead of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram piece from Monday. The paper wasn’t alone. The MSM have pumped out story after story about hospitals — and especially intensive care units — becoming jammed with COVID-19 patients.
This is how absurd it can be with crappy data.
Los Angeles County has not reported 1 single recovered patient.
The news people always state the total number who've been infected since the beginning too, again, as if none of them have recovered.
At least the World numbers show that about half have recovered -- 10,189,350 positive, 500,306 deaths, 5,096,083 recovered.
That the US figures only show 685,164 recovered out of 2,557,980 positive cases is ridiculous. It should be much closer to 1,500,000 recovered by now. Otherwise, they don't count anyone affected since May 1st as recovered, and nearly all of them likely had mild symptoms. The entire medical system would have been overwhelmed, otherwise.

Went to the doc for back trouble Tuesday and she was trying to sell the antibody test. I declined.

Hospitalizations here in fly over country are flat, new hospitalizations for Wuhan flu are running about 0.3 per day, or one every third day, in a county of over 600,000 people. That is literally nothing.
And our idiot Dem governor is now ordering us to wear masks. I will refuse, and see what happens.

Oh, and I have thought about what I will say if anyone tells me "you have to wear a mask".
My reply will be, "The governor has no right to tell me to wear a mask. Pass a law in the legislature, I will follow it. This is an illegal decree, I will not follow it."

I've formulated an answer to mandatory mask wearing.
If you never touch your face, you won't get COVID-19.
Scientific fact because virus can only enter through eyes,
nose, or mouth. I can't wear a mask without using my hands
If I touch my face, then I've increased my chances of catching
the virus and I refuse to put my life in danger by dictate.

Never in the course of human history have so many been duped by so few. To paraphrase Churchill.

We are seeing an increase of Covid19 in South Carolina. However the demographic are children and individuals in minority areas. But, theses are tested individuals without symptoms. These fear tactics are just that fear mongering.

Was shocked to see they reported the usual shootings in San Berdoo. It returned a sense of normalcy in SoCal.
Lately even the regular carnage has been pushed off the news feed for the "virus."

I don't think I am alone when I say that virus, or no virus, I will go out and vote for President Trump! Even if I did catch the virus, it would be well worth it. I don't want anyone else handling my ballot. They aren't going to keep me locked down, while they manufacture mail-in ballots. I suspect that the Chinese are printing them up now, as we speak.
Chinese + democrats = massive fraud!

My Georgia county has a population of 104,000 with ten deaths. Ten! Somebody with better math skills than me can figure out the tiny percentage figure. Whatever it is, it's less than the seasonal flu.

Thinking about visiting relatives in Arizona.....holy cow. Their county had 18 cases last time I looked about a month ago. Now, it has 7,000 cases. That's kinda daunting. Their county has a bit over 200,000 people and 7,000 cases. My county in Kansas has over 600,000 people and under 1,700 total cases.
Sudden surge in the last few weeks along the southern border. Are people going to Mexico and coming back with it?

The Sky is Falling Media reports certain immaterial numbers about COVID-19 but never the numbers that mean something: the death rate per 100,000 population. That number is flattening and the MSM would prefer not to publish comforting news.

#12, that would be one death per 10,400 residents, or 0.0096% of the county has died.
It rounds up to about 1/100th of 1%. Pretty darned small.
In my county of 600,000 we have 86 deaths, so we are at one per 6976 residents, slightly higher than the GA county. We area at 0.0143%, or a bit above1/100th of 1% percent.
There have been 6 deaths under the age of 70 in my county.
