Mitch should be able to work with young Mr. Cawthorn.

He seems well grounded, concerned about immorality, bringing children into the world in this America, and he's wary of special interest groups; he sounds like one of US. Let's hope he remains the real deal, and he's loud with it. Stir things up in Washington.

I have to assume he didn't get Trump and Meadows's endorsements because they discounted his chances in the general election. I hope that's the case, and I hope Mr. Cawthorn prevails and sticks with these positions in the shark tank. The vote spread is stunning and I hope it reflects the enthusiasm for these values since North Carolina has seen an influx of NE liberals who are making it a swing state.

FTA: Bennett received endorsements from Trump, Meadows, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), the House Freedom Fund, the Senate Conservative Fund, American Conservative Union, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), and Citizens United.
It's great when a plan comes together...oh, wait, the winner is named Cawthorn.
BTW #1 - Mitch (McConnell) is the SENATE Majority Leader...this primary was for a House seat.

24-year old man who has his own real estate business. Paralyzed in his lower body due to an accident. So handsome, and with such a great message. President Trump endorsed his primary opponent, a 62 year old woman. Do you hear any rancor in Cawthorn’s voice? Not a bit. Trump is and always has been his president. Read the article for Cawthorn’s message. You’ll like it.

Now that he has won, I am certain Trump is thrilled. He knows how desperately the Senate Republican ole boys club needs fresh and genuinely conservative blood. We have Christians in there, business-friendly senators, but what where we have a near empty tank of is a conservative Senator of determined and consistent COURAGE. The courage to step out from the pack and speak out - and not just on your own personal issues for reelection purposes. Courage to get out there with the President when its tough. I will be praying for this gifted and tough tough young man to WIN and win big.

Hey staff and fellow posters, I KNOW Matthew is running for the HOUSE. I honestly did — my brain got stuck on the Senate for a minute! Sorry.

Looks like the kid might be a breath of fresh air. Since the end of month funding goals are coming up, his campaign could probably use a few bucks:

Looks like this is his campaign donation site.

Bennett is a personal friend of Meadows, hence the endorsement. Fortunately, a solid conservative is now in the general and the politicking that happened in the primary doesn’t matter anymore.

I like his instincts and Moxey. He is the Anti-Mittens. He has ambition and a plan to build a lifetime base. And he is eaching across the aisle (to RINOs) to work with the opposition (RINOs). If he can pull young votes for Trump, think how much he can help RINOs!
