Matthew Spalding, a scholar of the Constitution and dean of Hillsdale College’s Van Andel Graduate School of Government in Washington, D.C., has written an important essay on the troubling possibility that the treatment of General Michael Flynn by the Obama administration and, later, by holdovers in the FBI, the Justice Department, and the CIA, represents not just a personal disaster for Flynn—who was, for a week or so, President Trump’s national security advisor—but also a brewing constitutional crisis for the United States. Many commentators, myself included, have described the whole “Donald-Trump-was-a-Russian-Asset” caper as the biggest political scandal in U.S. history. We were ridiculed or condemned by the Left and the NeverTrump

FTA: .. What appears to have been done to Mr. Flynn and the incoming Trump administration at the hands of the intelligence agencies of the Obama administration may seem merely another partisan squabble but is ultimately a rejection of republican government.
Sure hope obama's team go to jail, soon.

Unless Obama and his federal operatives are brought publicly to justice with harsh penalties, this problem will be recurrent, more secret, and ever more dangerous. This IS a constitutional crisis. I believe treason is a hanging offense?

“To date, the coup against this president seems to have failed. But it seems to me less certain that an interior coup, a coup against our fundamental allegiance to Democratic institutions, has not already taken place and succeeded.”
The coup’s failure will be judged by whether President Trump is re-elected. Have Americans grown so tired of the false accusations against Trump that they opt for Joe Burisma Biden as the less irritating candidate. As to the interior coup in DoJ, FBI, State, EPA, court system and other federal units, that clearly continues. AG Barr might be the head of Justice, but he appears unable to make ihis Department do anything against Obama, Hillary and their goons. FBI Director Wray has done his best to subvert Michael Flynn’s trial, and Wray doesn’t care if Trump, Barr or anyone else knows this. Flynn’s Federal judge, Sullivan, is working for Obama, not Lady Justice. Trump’s Sec of Defense believes that Obama is still Commander in Chief, as do many active and retired senior officers. Trump has only a few supportive officials working with him, and Dr Fauci isn’t one of them. Very troubling.

Our institutions are infested with liberal fascists & totalitarian socialists. Many of the are not worth the effort to salvage. I'm thinking of the media, the Deep State, the federal judiciary, the Obama KGB-Gestapo. Often it is better to demolish and rebuild.

This is very serious. And jail isn't sufficient for them. They need to go into the ground after a very public trial because until they take their last breath, dyed-in-the-wool commies/fascists/socialists/etc will never stop trying to overthrow our Republic. Leaving them above ground to continue their subversion is a waste of time. Look what they've done over the past century to schools in this country.

I agree with #5, but I don't think we have the spine as a nation to do this, sadly.
