PRINCETON, N.J.— Princeton University has announced plans to remove the name of former President Woodrow Wilson from its public policy school because of his segregationist views, reversing a decision the Ivy League school made four years ago to retain the name.University president Christopher Eisgruber said in a letter to the school community Saturday that the board of trustees had concluded that “Wilson’s racist views and policies make him an inappropriate namesake” for Princeton’s School of Public and International Affairs and the residential college.Eisgruber said the trustees decided in April 2016 on some changes to make the university “more inclusive and more honest about its history”

Even the first "Progressive Marxist" president is thrown under the BLM bus. How long will it take before we learn Wilson, FDR and LBJ were really Republicans?

It wasn't his racist views that make him an inapropriate namesake. He was our own home-grown fascist progressive who locked up people for thought crimes. OMG, we are going to do that again!

Good!
Now how about we remove Woody's Federal Income Tax - - and Woody's Federal Reserve System?
Those things would really help!

Wilson was Princeton’s president. Will they remove him from the list of school president’s and take down his portrait?

Wilson should be one of the heroes of the left, but unfortunately he failed to think like a 21st century woke progressive pajama boy BLM supporting white academic.

Woody Wilson was America's first Fascist President. I think Mussolini took him as a role model.

Wilson was an equal opportunity racist. The way he whipped up hatred against “hyphenated Americans” — especially German-Americans, to the point of forbidding them to print or speak publicly in German — was truly shameful.

Good. Woodrow Wilson is the #3 most evil US President after LBJ and Barack Obama.

The profound weakness of the Ivies is nothing short of astounding.
These are the pinnacles of principle and learning to which we all should aspire?

Princeton is mulling over whether Wilson's Books should be burned also. They have already decided to burn any book that has a picture of a Confederate Flag in it. As for Robert E. Lee....hell he never existed ...right?

#4 names some key crimes. That hideously ugly building was certainly a fitting tribute to the man. Still, this trivial gesture does little to remove the stain of slavery from Princeton University, an elite bastion of white supremacy. The school's first nine presidents, spanning 1747 through 1854, were slaveowners, many while leading the school. Many professors at Princeton were also slaveowners, including one who owned a slave in 1840. Should they rename the school? Hand it over to become an HBCU? The Marxists who run the place likely support the current race riots and cultural destruction, so why not bring it all back home?

I'd suggest that we remove all statues of MLK and BURN all of his writings .... he would never have participated in the stupidity that the Marxist BLM is orchestrating. History occurred in the context of historic times and serves as a benchmark to measure progress, and changing of mores and standards. Thought control is a tool of tyrants which is exactly what BLM is. Just Say No.

Okay, Yale, you're next up.
Please explain why your institution is named after an individual who not only owned slaves, but engaged in trading slaves.
