The movement to tear down statues or even just to deface them was misconceived in its earliest stages and has now, like most aspects of the self-flagellating fever over “systemic racism,” evolved from just concerns about offending African-American sensibilities into an assault on the entire body of achievement of Western civilization. This movement really began with the debate over whether to remove the statue of General Robert E. Lee from a main square of Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2017. Serious civic discussion on a legitimate question quickly deteriorated into mob violence between Klansmen and neo-Nazis on one side and Antifa and the belligerent faction

There is absolutely no reason to wait for an election. Terrorists committing violent acts need to be met with force & arrested, not pacifism. If they resist, make a few examples, and the violence will diminish rapidly. We are being overrun by lunatics Nationwide.

The Taliban did the same in Afghanistan, destroying statues of Buddha that were over a thousand years old..

Speaking of Robert E. Lee, when are all our heroes buried at Arlington Cemetery going to be dug up and reburied elsewhere because Arlington uses the land of Robert E. Lee's plantation. We can't allow that can we snowflakes?

since the statues are all down but the pedestals still remain, time for some new statues:
a black woman tossing a newborn into the garbage.
two teenage blacks shooting each other with guns held sideways
a black male running with a big screen tv out of a target store.....you get my drift....

Systemic racism? No....systemic stupidity. The leftist takeover of our educational system has reaped its harvest of useful idiots. Remember Obama's "fundamental transformation" of America? This is it.

Yes, it's the same thing that muslims/taliban did. Go after the obvious , the symbols of our culture. The MSM pretty much encourages it, certainly doesn't decry it. The MOB is running amok, for now. The old saying," A picture is worth a thousand words " . People can see what the MOB aka blm/antifa is doing .It does not garner sympathy, it raises anger. By the way , did you know that Shaun King, that charmer that wants to take down all depictions of Jesus and Mary gave the keynote speech when Bernie Sanders announced his run for the presidency? Where's Bernie?

If you think the election in November will automatically bring this destruction and mayhem to a sudden halt with peace and sunshine again you would be wrong. This property destruction should all carry federal charges and time in prison like at GITMO. No slap on the wrist and set free to continue their crime spree. Those statues don't fight or shoot back but maybe if there's danger involved in the vandalism the perps might think twice before doing it. It could be the time to bring in the dogs and water cannons to go with the rubber bullets and tear gas.

I like Black's commentary buy BLM and it's stupid acolytes are only the muscle. Who is providing the resources, signs, weapons and directions? Not the would-be muggers or and Pajama Boys - it's the latent Commiecrat Party. Floyd's death was only the tip of the iceberg for what was waiting beneath.

As someone who's been privately fuming, seething, steamed, frustrated and sad about all the chaos, the threats and aggression coming from America's 'I-shall-not-be-questioned Leftists', I strongly believe I have a lot of company - with our numbers growing - and we are anxiously awaiting our chance to vote in November.

Voting in November is NOT sufficient. We cannot condone or tolerate such chaos and lies. Yes, civilization and history is being torn down as represented by persons. Then, anything these people accomplished, the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, many foundational laws, etc. can also be torn down as well. This is the rioters goal. Raze everything to the ground and impose their insanity in its place. They have not been able to accomplish it within the system and they are reading the handwriting on the wall that they may never be able to so the need to destroy the system.
The problem is, it is almost incomprehensible to many Americans that other Americans or elements in this Country could be thinking this way. They MUST have legitimate complaints. But largely, they DO NOT. Think of all the times they have rabble roused over racism only to find that it just wasn't so. Floyd's case was horrible optics but it is STILL not certain that Floyd did anything wrong. They claim their is a wave of racist police brutality but the numbers of Black deaths by police are small and dropping. The biggest threat to Blacks is other Blacks. If your own race is so cavalier about the value of your life, is that a model for civilization? Americans need to realize how staged all this is, how damaging it is, and how DELIBERATE and INTENTIONAL it is. We need to STOP it.

I meant to say it was not clear whether the OFFICERS did anything wrong. They have the right and need to control dangerous suspects. Hopped up on meth, Floyd WAS dangerous.

Re #12’s last sentence. I couldn’t agree more, but then I must ask: stop it “how?” We can vote for Trump and the GOP in November, but if they win, these people will riot more violently than they have to date. So far, Trump is the only politician who has the guts to rightly call all of this anarchy what is is: seditious, criminal activity. All the rest have either remained silent - most notably Republicans- or have aided, abetted and/or condoned the violence. The police are either unwilling or ordered not to protect our national artifacts as well as private/public property, so will those of us who detest what these people are doing have to arm ourselves and guard them? Are we at the point of real civil war?
I readily admit I personally don’t have the answers to these difficult questions, but I fear we had best come up with some before it’s too late.

#14 asks how we can stop all this. I don't think we can, except by electing conservative law-and-order candidates in the mayoral and gubernatorial races across the country. Most of these riots occur in blue cities and states with leftist leaders who revel in the concept of protests and free speech. They rarely draw the distinction between protest marches and riots with burning and looting.
I can't see Trump jumping in and starting a Kent State riot quelling disaster with dead bodies lying in the streets. Better to let the mayors try to quell the disturbances; if they refuse to, maybe the electorate will wise up enough to vote them out of office. If not, they get what they deserve.

Too bad, this is National Revuke, because I won't read it. National Revuke is an enabler of totalitarian socialism. RINO surrender monkeys land Neo-Cons.
"Klansmen and neo-Nazis on one side"? Where is your proof, Black?

I am not sure which is more hurtful- those that destroy our history or the fact that no one in Washington is stopping them. See anybody with a mic railing about arresting them or sending in the troops to shoot the terrorist?
