Giant Black Lives Matter mural

Brooklyn will get a giant Black Lives Matter mural similar to the one painted in yellow in downtown Washington, DC. Artists, elected officials and others joined in painting the words along Fulton Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant Saturday. State Attorney General Letitia James tweeted a photo of herself with a paint roller in hand saying “Proud to help Brooklyn say it loud: #BlackLivesMatter.” James was standing next to the Rev. Al Sharpton who also tweeted that he was helping the effort. He posted a photo of himself with Spike Lee saying he was on Fulton Street for the renaming of the block as “BlackLivesMatter Way.”

And just like that, the absurd litany of self-inflicted problems in The Community vanished without a trace.

Consider also, amid all of the components of our wonderful melting pot, the BLACK race is the only one that not only requires and demands special coddling, but also demands that any recognition of other than BLACK people needs to be removed. And as with the vaunted Moderate Muslims we keep hearing about, a vanishing few BLACK people are speaking out on the folly.

I've never been to Brooklyn (I was in NY City once for about an Hour) so I don't know much about the neighborhoods. I will venture a guess though on the chances of selling your Home in a Neighborhood that has Black Lives Matter painted on your street. I would say your chances are next to nothing! If they did this in a neighborhood that is already all Black, it won't matter. But if this is a Mixed Race neighborhood and Whitey wants out Now! Good Luck with that!

A Black Lives Matter mural outside Vermont’s statehouse was vandalized just hours after being painted, police said. The mural, painted Saturday in Montpelier by more than a hundred volunteers, was smeared early Sunday with several gallons of dirt and oil, leaving one of its 25-foot, yellow letters on State Street defaced, Montpelier police said. A “considerable amount” of graffiti was also found on a sidewalk nearby but referenced “government spending” and did not appear to be connected to the mural, Police Chief Anthony Facos told The Post on Monday. “$400 million gone,” one spray-painted sidewalk message read.

Three cities, all supremely liberal, represent an American descent into anarchy against which no one is standing. After New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said he wanted to slash the police budget, the New York City Council is going about cutting $1 billion from that budget, about 16%. That will inevitably cause a reduction of police presence around the city and, with equal inevitability, result in an increase in crime. In Minneapolis, where George Floyd was killed in police custody on May 25, the city council plans to disband its police force entirely. On Friday, the city council voted to replace the police with a “community-led public safety system.”
