A Brief History of Antifa: Part I

Original Article

Empirical and anecdotal evidence shows that Antifa is, in fact, highly networked, well-funded and has a global presence. It has a flat organizational structure with dozens and possibly hundreds of local groups. Antifa's stated long-term objective, both in America and abroad, is to establish a communist world order. In the United States, Antifa's immediate aim is to bring about the demise of the Trump administration

As always, radical adolescent Leftists "want what they want when they want it"... dismissing that if they win, they will then go up against Islamic forces for world domination. The rest of us will not have a side to be on. Both must be stopped!

Terrific, informative article. I'm glad you are allowing posts from the Gatestone Institute now; I was blocked for trying to do so a couple of months ago. Gatestone is a fabulous fountain of factual reports that I don't see anywhere else.

Great article I vote for a Must Read. The war we fight today is a continuation of the wars of the 20th century. I implore you to read Diana West's "American Betrayal" unless you have been a serious history junkie this could change your world view. Vocabulary matters and one of the words we need to address is Capitalism. I'm opposed to what people attribute to capitalism, what we call crony capitalism which in fact is fascism. As much as I throw the communist label at our left in fact we have been sliding toward fascism of the Hitler Mussolini variety. The theoretical "ownership" of the means of production with government control of what is done with those means. Back to vocabulary, what does "ownership" mean? If I can't do as I please with something I "own" and must do as a government bureaucrat dictates with it, do I really own it? Or is private ownership a facade? This is the onion skin thick layer of difference between Stalin's communism and Hitler's fascism. We are trapped in a struggle between Stalin and Hitler when we want to be in the world of Jefferson, Locke, Madison, Mason, dare I say Coolidge. Failure to clarify the struggle in the historical context dooms us to a totalitarian fate. Of course we are against a form of totalitarianism that is in fact fascism that perverts a pretense of capitalism. But surrendering to communism that is the same thing without the same vocabulary isn't the answer. Good Lord we need education, real education opposed to indoctrination!

If they keep it up, the solution is, like their actions, extra-legal. Let's hope that designating them a terrorist group will get them rolled up and in prisons where they belong.

Very well written history of Communist subversion being replayed from the 1960's within our country today. Funny thing is that the John Birch Society was spot on regarding the Communist menace in America.

Secret Service Records Show Hunter Biden Did Not Travel to Ukraine Before Burisma Appointment 6 replies

Recently made public Secret Service records indicate that Hunter Biden, the youngest son of former Vice President Joe Biden, did not travel to Ukraine prior to his appointment to the board of directors of Burisma Holdings, one of the country’s top energy conglomerates. The documents, which were received through a Freedom of Information Act request by the conservative-leaning group Judicial Watch, show the younger Biden took 411 domestic and international flights between 2009 and 2014. The secret service provided protection for Biden on each of those flights and potentially more, as the records only cover the period from June 2009 to May 2014.

The publisher of Mary Trump’s potentially explosive tell-all memoir reportedly revealed in a Tuesday night court filing that the company already printed 75,000 copies of the book — after publication was temporarily blocked earlier in the day. Simon & Schuster also wrote it was only recently made aware of the nondisclosure agreement the author signed as part of a dispute over the 1999 will of President Trump’s father, Fred Trump, the Washington Post reported. The president had said publication of the book — “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man” — would violate the nondisclosure agreement.

The New York City Council passed the city’s $88.1 billion budget just after midnight Wednesday with hopes to solve the Big Apple’s $9 billion budget shortfall — in part by slashing NYPD spending by $1 billion. The deal became official once Councilwoman Deborah Rose (D-Staten Island) became the 26th council member to vote in favor of the budget — representing a majority of the 51-person legislative body. “Today is not a day of celebration, we are not in a time of celebration, it is the time of necessity and today’s budget agreement is one of necessity,” Council Speaker Corey Johnson said following the vote.

The victim of a fatal police shooting in Atlanta had moments earlier fired a Taser at one of the cops chasing him, newly released surveillance footage showed Saturday — as the city’s chief of police resigned less than a day after the incident. Early reports of the altercation that killed Rayshard Brooks, 27, Friday night had indicated Brooks, who was black, was unarmed. But the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, which is probing the troubling shooting, released surveillance video Saturday that, officials said, prove otherwise.

Author and presidential historian Tevi Troy reminds me of a quote from the late senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan in a 1970 memo to President Nixon about the changing nature of the news media in that era, particularly at the New York Times under Abe Rosenthal: “Every time one of [the veterans] goes and is replaced by a new recruit from the Harvard Crimson or whatever, the Maoist faction on West 43d Street gets one more vote. No one else applies.” 3 Fifty years later, James Bennet — younger brother of Democratic senator Michael Bennet, formerly of The New Republic and Washington Monthly,

But once again, rainy Florida weather is hanging over the Kennedy Space Center, threatening to derail the mission. Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken, best friends since 2000 and both married to astronauts, rolled up to launch pad 39A in the early afternoon. They’re ready for a mission to the International Space Station with Elon Musk’s space venture that will be the first time a private company has sent humans into orbit.

For socialists and those who lean that way, pandemic time is boom time. Washington is printing and spending money like never before and both parties support sending cash to businesses and the unemployed. Rent and mortgage payments are being deferred, Medicare-for-all is getting a second look and support is growing for a program that would take the nation across the economic Rubicon — a guaranteed basic income. Seldom is heard those cautionary words of yesteryear, “moral hazard.” A time of great need and fear is shattering any stigma about being on the dole. A logical conclusion is that politics will follow culture and Bernie Sanders- and AOC-types will call the shots in America.

President Trump  said Tuesday the fact that the United States has the most coronavirus cases in the world is a “badge of honor” because it shows how much testing the country is doing. While there are many factors at play when comparing how countries have fared in the coronavirus pandemic, public health experts say Trump’s explanation left out a key factor: The U.S. has so many cases because it was initially slow to respond to the outbreak and ramp up testing and other containment tools.

Journalists are pack animals. That’s especially true in Washington. Despite the hunger for scoops, when it comes to the substance of stories, few have the guts to go against the ideological groupthink that prevails in our nation’s capital. That’s what makes CBS’ Catherine Herridge so exceptional. In an era when too many network journalists slant their reporting to serve establishment opinion, Herridge sticks to the facts. Her dogged determination to get to the bottom of stories has made her an invaluable source on the national-security beat. Her sterling quality and integrity have also put a target on her back.

With five months until the election, things couldn’t look any worse for the president of the United States. His approval rating is down to 40%. People are getting tired of his antics and the insults he hurls at his opponents. The media is increasingly confident that, come November, the voters will elect a new chief executive.
