Shaun King: Democrats Run The Cities
With Worst Police Brutality

As debates about police brutality and systemic racism rock the country in the wake of George Floyd’s horrific death at the hands of a police officer in Minneapolis, Black Lives Matter activist Shaun King let himself utter an uncomfortable truth that other activists have been ignoring: Democrats control all the major cities where black people are experiencing the most police brutality and systemic racism. In a tweet on Friday, the activist scolded those who tell black Americans to affect change through voting, asserting that such blind thinking may not exactly be the panacea people are talking about.

Well, duh! Maybe they could try affecting change by voting for someone other than Democrats, since voting for Democrats has gotten them nowhere in half a century. As the President says, "What have you got to lose?"

Cause and effect might be backward. The police have to be more brutal in cities with dimocrat voters (who elect dimocrats) because they are feral savages.

Democrats are fascists. They treat predators like royalty, so it's understandable the police get tired of dealing with the same psychopaths over and over. You could not pay me enough to be a cop in a Democrat city.

Accidentally said their biggest secret out loud. The Dems are responsible for these places where the blacks are so unhappy. Look at the Dem party, and get clear of them. They have always been bad news.

It's the corruption. Democrats are corrupt and it's their club, they hire like minded people for all levels of government including police. Just as they were the party of the Klan, they are the party of abuse of power. People who go along with the ideology are not nice people. I see it everywhere.

This is getting tired...the old and worn thin idea that Democrats run cities with the "worst" social and infrastructure issues. Let's take the partisanship out to put the heat on those truly responsible. Cities have largely been governed by malfeasant officials, elected and appointed, for nearly a century. The problems are often exacerbated because that's where the money is: failing schools, high crime, collapsing infrastructure, ad nauseum. Cities are "too big to fail", often a large bloc of legislative votes, and political treasure troves for state offices. So, the pallets of cash are delivered and the dough spread around. The problems continue to grow unabated. The Federal government from Model Cities to now, has "rescued" cities from anything approaching self-sufficiency. The worse schools, the more money sent. Sewers failing...more dough. Streets in disrepair...ditto. Let's rob "the rich" for a few dollars more. We're all socialists now.

President Donald Trump’s campaign is reportedly planning to resume its iconic rallies after a months-long halt due to the coronavirus pandemic.According to Politico’s report, upcoming rallies are in the works. The campaign hopes to resume the rallies as early as this month, but details and safety precautions moving forward are still under review.“Aides are factoring in an array of factors in determining where the rallies will be held, including the number of coronavirus cases that exist locally,” the outlet reported: While Trump is likely to face blowback for resuming in-person events while the coronavirus pandemic is still ravaging the country, his advisers contend that

The Uniform Code of Military Justice prohibits active generals from disparaging their commander in chief. Article 88 of the UCMJ makes it a crime to voice “contemptuous words against the president” and other senior civilian officials. But no one quite knows whether such codified prohibitions on free expression apply to retired generals receiving military pensions. And lately, there has been a spate of “contemptuous words” against President Trump, leveled by retired generals, including some who under other presidents condemned just such conduct among their brethren.Given the lack of legal clarity, a confused public could at least expect four rules of general decorum and courtesy when

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and a number of her congressional colleagues gathered to kneel on Monday for the time they say a police officer had his knee on the neck of George Floyd, but the photo op did not quite go as planned. After the 8 minutes and 46 seconds the incident lasted, the members of Congress — including 79-year-old James Clyburn — rose. But Pelosi nearly toppled over, quickly motioning for an aide to help her to her feet. “It’s better not to have on high heels,” Pelosi said with a laugh as her mask dangled under her chin.
