One crisis too many —
Will the riots be Trump's undoing?

A week ago, in the wake of a possible flattening of the COVID-19 growth curve, President Trump’s campaign could maintain some optimism. While polls suggested that the public trusted likely Democratic nominee Joe Biden as better than Trump at dealing with the health crisis, they continued to trust the president more on handling the economy. The polls were consistent with the idea that if he could convince the country to make the election about “who’s better for ensuring a strong American recovery?” he might be in a competitive position in November. Then came the death by asphyxiation of George Floyd under the knee of a Minneapolis policeman.

Sure. Law & Order = NO... Riots & Anarchy = YES... And the majority of Americans are going to vote like this?

You can quickly see where this Writer’s Thoughts are. At least you could get your information correct. George Floyd did not die from asphyxiation. His death was Tragic, but following the Liberal Media Storyline rather than the complete and accurate truth makes your writing worthless.

Exactly the opposite is true. If the true nature of this BLM movement is exposed the backlash against it will be great. Justice and racial equality are great platitudes. The practical playing out of those platitudes will scare the hell out of the average Suburban and rural American citizen. As the deaths of police and the videos of white liberals kneeling en mass to confess their collective guilt and renounce their white privilege multiply, the revulsion by people who work hard and keep this county and economy going will be palpable.

Fox is getting as bad as the NY Times. A small percentage protest, burn, riot...the others work, stay home, obey rules & laws. Don't allow the media to warp your brains. The virus proved the media & politicians are looney. They allow protest but no funerals, work or church services. Please note all these cities & states in crisis are run by democrats. Hopefully everyone will remember this in November & vote for all republicans. No one except the dems & media blame Trump for the riots.

I had thought that it would be impossible for Trump to lose in 2020. I don't care for his demeanor but I like his policies. Now I'm not sure that matters. With the all out attack by MSM and the fact that the majority of this country is afraid -- deathly afraid -- of the unseen virus and the belief that a mentally incompetent ex-VP could better protect them, this country seems lost.

I feel for #6. The assault is like a monsoon rain when you're going somewhere. I think it all got to this author, sadly. He's a very wet noodle. We're being gas lighted, deceived by partial truths and outright lies. Americans expect order, as any civilized people would. Trump has declared himself the law and order president, and his opponents say that's racist. But heck, they say inhaling is racist; exhaling even more so. They are dangerous, especially when they are losing, which they are.

Anyone else need proof that Fox News with the exception of their conservative cash cow evening line up has now joined the ranks of CNN, MSNBC, and the rest of the democrat communist party propaganda wing? All of these so-called peaceful protests are taking place for the most part in democrat run sewers with the majority of the useful idiots made up of stupid, indoctrinated young white folk who have been penned up for 2 months with no outlet for fun and excitement. George Floyd was a career thug and drug user who during a home invasion stuck his gun into the stomach of a pregnant women and threatened to kill her. As more and more facts come out about his death, I suspect Saint Floyd will join the ranks of those other black victim heroes like Trayvon Martin and that thug in Ferguson. The media keeps relentlessly reminding all of us of the thousands of "for the most part peaceful protestors" marching across the country. I wonder just how many would be marching if the unconstitutional lock down had not take place and instead most of them would be working. I will bet the total numbers of the marching morons are a very small minority of the total population of our country. Wonder why fair and balanced Fox News is not reporting real facts about Floyd and the riots, excuse me I mean peaceful protests. This "reporter" should be fired for his bias. The Murdoch punks running Fox (into the ground!) hate Trump. These riots will only boost Trump's numbers because the vast majority of Americans want Law and Order and real Justice for all of these lawbreakers. Save our Country and Make America Great Again.

As per usual, the Rats are badly overplaying their hand, taking what could have been a good issue for them (fighting racial injustice and police brutality) and running wild with it caving in to extremists and proposing lunatic solutions. No sane person wants police forces completely dissolved, and this opens the door for Trump to propose common sense solutions and to paint the Rats as unhinged and dangerous to society.

It won't be Trump's undoing. This is just the last coup attempt. The riots will continue through the election. The left will burn the country down. We have only the FBI to protect us, those brave warriors kneeling, and Wray ignoring Antifa's terrorist designation, not arresting or investigating a single member. That's the thin thread holding us. "Then came the death by asphyxiation of George Floyd under the knee of a Minneapolis policeman." The only autopsy on Floyd, the government's autopsy, showed he died of heart failure. His body was suffused with Fentanyl and Methaphetamine, a lethal combination that has killed tens of thousands of Americans by inducing heart failure. When he was arrested for passing counterfeit currency and other crimes, the police radioed paramedics for help because he was in a state of "excited delirium." The handbook on emergency medicine used by the Minnneapolis Police recommended restraint of the suspect in excited delirium until he could be sedated. Fox News should try to at least be in the same zip code as the facts.

Inside the DC beltway and New York City, the places where the fake news media does their thing, are a lot different than “Silent Majority” America where the people live who actually make the country run, and will actually vote, know that President Trump did not start the Chinese COVID-19 virus pandemic and the Black rioting or use them for political purposes. It’s fools gold to believe that the majority of the American people want to abolish their local police forces and want “open borders”. So you can guess the election outcome pretty clearly!

Nearly 12 years have elapsed since the night in October 2008 when Barack Obama told a crowd of his supporters in a speech at the University of Missouri that they were “five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” You can turn on your TV and see the result: Race riots have devastated cities across the country, a disillusioned generation of youth expressing themselves in a criminal spree of violent rage inspired by the failure of Obama’s promise. Of course, liberals blame these “mostly peaceful protests” on President Trump, but let them ponder this question: How could Trump ever have been elected if Obama had been successful

We all know the story of the Emperor’s New Clothes. It is not just a children’s story. Rather, it is an eternal story about human nature. If people are surrounded by a mass or a mob who speak nonsense as a Truth — with a capital “T” — then perfectly sensible people who internally know better will fall into line and babble the same “Truth.” For a reality check and sanity in the public arena, it ultimately often takes a little kid who simply has not been taught social conformity and political correctness to look and say “But this ‘Truth’ simply is not true.”

He doesn’t want them to say they care about him as a person, he wants them to do something practical for the cause.

The riots have exposed the depth of America’s civilizational crisis. Yet where are the supposed religious leaders of that civilization to decry it? They are difficult to find. To the extent that clergy have been visible at all in the crisis, they emerged not to stop the mob but to join it. Their statements rest entirely upon the mob’s propaganda. America magazine, run by the Jesuits, provides a dismaying example of this in its editorial last week: “To fight racism, Catholics must hunger for justice like we do for the Eucharist.” It is an odd title for the editorial, given that the Jesuits preside over increasingly empty pews.
