President Donald Trump’s economy proved it’s not going down without a fight. An excellent new jobs report has Keynesian New York Times economist Paul Krugman babbling about a Trump conspiracy on Twitter to make sense of it.CNBC reported that “Employment stunningly rose by 2.5 million in May and the jobless rate declined to 13.3%,” based on Friday’s Bureau of Labor Statistics’s (BLS) report. The report “was far better than economists had been expecting and indicated that an economic turnaround could be close at hand.” Krugman didn’t appear to know what to do with these numbers, except try to speculate the “possibility” that the Trump administration has “gotten to the BLS”

Like Obama changed the way the figures were calculated to make his number better? Krugman should know how it is done.

Poor Paul. He's still waiting for the market crash he guaranteed would happen if Donald Trump won the election.

Krugman is not an economist. He is a political hack. His "Nobel Prize" was not for the economic paper (which he had written 30 years before and had recently updated) but for his political bashing of GW Bush in the NYT. Didn't he predict a stock market crash the night Trump was elected?
BTW there is no "Nobel Prize" for economics - and Michael Mann did not win one either

#2 nails it. Not only did the Obama admin. fudge the %s by declaring people as "no longer in the job market" almost every month the figures were quietly adjusted a few weeks later with the initial highly reported figures being more favorable than the revised.

Projection as always from the left. They always tell us what they do so to me this is proof that Obama fudged the numbers.

It’s also possible that the numbers were fudged downward by the deep state.

The Left's narrative is falling apart and they are desperate. All the usual idiots will crawl out of their holes to say how this is a lie or not good news. Giving Krugman air time is insane. He has been babbling for years.

Has Krugman EVER been factual on ANYTHING he has ever said?
Anything? Did he ever say that red was crimson? Or is it as it appears, that 100% of the time the facts like in the 180 degree opposite direction from what this idiot says they are? Could it be only 99%? Doesn't seem likely.

Where's a Twitter fact checker when you need one? Oops. Silly me, they're probably busy checking President Trump's latest tweet for spelling errors so they can mark it as "FALSE CLAIM."
If I was in a glass-walled room with Paul Krugman at high noon on a cloudless day and Krugman told me the sun was shining, I'd still look out the windows before I would believe him.

“It’s possible.”
There’s not a whole lot one can say the can be categorized as “that’s not possible” in a strict sense.
Good ol krugman is just as sharp as ever.

Paul Krugman is the only current so-called economist dumb enough to precisely channel the shade of John Maynard Keynes. They have the common "honor" of having received the Nobel Prize in economics for producing illogical rationales for the government spending money it doesn't have to stimulate an economy it has prostrated with taxes for the purpose of convincing useful idiots that they should vote for the government that created the mess in the first place.
In any field related to government actions, the Nobel ceased being an "honor" when they awarded Obama the Nobel for simply managing to get elected in a free nation with capitalist economic system - without actually doing anything first.....

This allegation of fraud against the President today, is just like the leftist and liberal Democrat allegation that Trump “colluded” with the Russians to win the election, it could have happened, but it did not. Nobody with any brains believes much of anything that the so-called mainstream (liberal) media says anymore, as anytime Trump does or says anything the media snake pits support the leftist and liberal Democrats, and in most people’s minds have shot their wad long ago when it comes to their reporting on Trump.

That is a Democrat trait. Just ask the plagiarizer Biden
