Appearing Wednesday on the Fox News Channel, network senior judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano said he will “defend to the death” Twitter’s right to fact check President Donald Trump.(Video) A partial transcript is as follows:SANDRA SMITH: There’s so many questions. You look out into the social media atmosphere about this debate over social media, and Twitter now fact-checking the president. Can they do this? ANDREW NAPOLITANO: The short answer is yes, the longer answer is that the president is right about the bias in social media

Nap is right on this. Twitter is a private company. They don't have to play fair in that way if they don't chose to. If Twitter were seen as a public utility, things would be very different, but they aren't. We conservatives have to stop expecting fair treatment in those Liberal Ghettoes.
Create our own choices. Gab may be one, but has not grown very much.
The president is not a King or dictator, and cannot just 'command' compliance as he interprets it.

So you'll fight to the death for Twitter's right to censor free speech?
How very sad and confused you've become. You betray the publucs' trust you said little man.

That's not the point, Andy, you blithering idiot. It's that they won't 'fact check' anyone of a Dimocrat persuasion.

These companies stand as public forums. They may not choose what speech to censor any more than a grocery store can refuse to serve a black, an Asian, or a cross dresser.
There are no choices that are not under the control of the left. Even a company trying to start up an alternative is at the mercy of gatekeepers that shut down access to this alternative.
The judge isnt JUST wrong. He denies every American their freedom.

Did you defend to the death Trump’s right to block people on Twitter? Didn’t think so.

I won't defend Napolitano under any circumstances, so anyone that wants him, please take him. Personally, I don't think the man knows anything, never provides any information of any use, and I do not understand why someone with so little to contribute would be employed by Fox. I have noticed that even Fox is using him a lot less, but not less enough.

You cab't sue Twitter because it is, allegedly, just a repository for comments. Once it begins editorializing (by "fact checking", it is no longer just a repository for comments, but a journalistic endeavor.
Now you can sue them.
This is a very slippery slope for Twitter.

It's OK to fact check Trump as long as you fact check everyone!!!! One sided editing is becoming the new norm & Trump will NOT tolerate this!! The so called Judge's view is so lopsided he's boring. The judge has been wrong for the past 3 years on everything & Fox continues to keep him on the payroll???

Free speech only applies to the drive-by propaganda media. Other free speech needs to be squashed.
