Democrats are bracing for the political impact of lifted lockdown restrictions across the country and other measures that could lead to a boom in the U.S. economy following the coronavirus pandemic, according to a new report. Jason Furman, one of former President Barack Obama's top economic advisers, gave a presentation to top Democratic strategists and donors last month. He shocked the group with his prognostication. “We are about to see the best economic data we’ve seen in the history of this country," he said, according to Politico. "Everyone looked puzzled and thought I had misspoken."

Then I guess they shouldn't be working for the government because if you don't have the interest of all Americans at heart and only have your own interest at heart, then all decisions that are made will be of your own. Pretty selfish, hah?

Republicans — Prosperity
Democrats — Depression
That’s a simple primer in how to vote.

There’s a big difference between “best economic data” and a full-employment economy with high personal spending on discretionary wants. After this a good number of people will struggle to meet their bills, especially small business proprietors. So, the data shows a 10% gain, and it’s still 40% less than pre-civics. But we can always enjoy another $3 Trillion given away by our Congress and President.

All we have to do to recover is open up. Continuing lockdowns does nothing but build more debt. There is no need for any further restrictions, and there will not be any re-visit in the fall from this virus. We have been through these things before and did fine, and we would have this time, if we did not have Dr. Fauci and the leftists who wanted to ruin this country so Trump would not be re-elected. Trump is going to be re-elected, the economy is going to soar, and the left is going to be dealt with for this, and their attempted coup's against the President. The Democrats are getting nastier, meaner, and more desperate, as they know they are going to be exposed, and that includes all the voter fraud corruption.

FTA: ''Some have gone so far as to accuse Democrats of rooting for the U.S. economy to fail, an opportunity that would allow them to cast Trump in a negative light.''
You mean people like every democRAT, their allies the so-called 'media', the nitwit ''celebrities'' and the talking heads on 99% of the news shows would like to see the entire country crash and burn just so those maniacs can take over and RULE with their greedy, iron fists? News flash for ya, Dominick, that's EXACTLY what they want.

Way back in early March, I posted that my youngest son, chemistry/pre med, went to the data on the 1917-18 spanish flu epidemic, and examined the available data on the Kung Flu, and told us not to worry excessively - that we would be at no greater risk than for the regular flu. (The regular flu season ended on April 4, 2020, and the CDC estimated that thyere were about 26,000 to 60,000 deaths from the regular flu. note that they didn't have a daily count of deaths from the regular flu.
Our son also said to be careful - that at our ages, (81 and 68) we were at elevated risk.
On March 2, 2020, Dr. fauci did a 60 Minutes interview, and laughed, almost sneered at the idea that masks would protect us. (interview contains one minute and 27 seconds, available on you tube.)
Early CDC advice was to wipe down groceries when putting them away - that the Kung Fl;u virus could live on surfaces for hours. anyone who has worked in the medical field knew that was nonsense. The CDC has backed away from that.
I don't attribute evil motives to the CDC or Dr. Fauci. But researchers tend to have tunnel vision. And research models, by definition, are always wrong.

That tells you what you need to know about democrats! A good economy is bad for them, but good for America.

There are certain people that believe it's their right to rule. Rule, not govern. And they also believe that America exists for their personal gain. Power and money, money and power. Dems , rinos, deep state, swamp creatures. Aiding and abetting is the MSM, for decades no longer interested in researching and reporting the news, they're about agenda. And, it's the agenda of the left.

Democrats are going to blame Trump whether the economy recovers or not especially for causing the death of so many minorities, even though most have been locked up in blue states.

... And, in other news, water is wet.
Seriously, I think we ALL knew that the Demonrats were looking at COVID19 as a gift and most blue states were/are dragging their heels with reopening just to hurt the economy and, by extension, DJT. What makes it worse is that most of the Leftists were getting drunk on the power and absolute authoritarian control they were exercising over their constituents in the name of "safety". If/when the economy comes roaring back then you may see a meltdown not unlike the one we witnessed when Shrillary got her rump handed to her in 2016. I guess I'd better make sure my life insurance is paid up because I will absolutely DIE FROM LAUGHTER.
KAGA, y'all

The economy was kicking butt BEFORE the pandemic (which democrats loved). no thanks to old obiewannabesomething, and it will come back....no thanks to the little Nazi gooubernors and mayors who are fighting reopening...you know, the ones sending armed police to close churches and shutdown barber shops...those ones...

If Stock Market numbers today are any indication, democrats need to start worrying sooner rather than later.

It's going to happen. It's just a matter of when. People are not spending any money on things like dining out, movies, clothes, sports, travel, hair styling, manicures, commuting. They are not using their cars or buying gas. There is a lot of money out there just waiting to be spent once things open up again. The Democrats are trying to delay that as much as possible but people are starting to rebel. If the Democrats become the party of the lockdown, they are going to lose bigly in November, so it's kind of a lose-lose situation for them.

#15, I bet $$ on the US economy, (bought stocks that were beaten down by this crisis) and so far am about one new Honda Accord up with that investment, in about 30 days or so. I expect to be up a new Porsche 911 by this time next year.
