A ‘deplorables’ moment for Joe Biden

Joe Biden’s disastrous interview with black radio host Charlamagne Tha God on Friday encapsulates everything that is wrong with the Democratic Party and its presidential hopeful. “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, you ain’t black,” the former vice president blurted out at the end of the interview. It was a statement so staggeringly, primitively racist, that it landed like a gut punch to many black Americans, of all political persuasions, who took to the airwaves to denounce it over the weekend.

Of course Biden will win the black vote. If blacks are willing to overlook the systemic genocide of abortion, the breakdown of their families in Democrat controlled inner cities, and the loss of millions of jobs to illegal aliens - all things that can be easily shown to be due to Democrat policies... Biden and his stupid gaffe are not going to mean a thing. Now, if Biden was to dress up in a Confederate Flag, whistle Dixie and put on black face... no... on second thought, as long as he is still a Democrat, blacks will vote for him.

I daresay that a significant number will abandon the Democrat Party, but the majority will still remain loyal. Re: the “Stockholm Syndrome.” Like radical leftist Jews and hard-core feminists, no way in hell will those blacks vote Republican.

There is nothing he could do that would loose him the black Vote or the women's vote, no matter what he says, what information comes out, pictures, videos, or even a confession. He might loose some of the vote, but he will keep the majority. Most democrats honestly do not care, and never will.

Joe will win the black vote. But this time it might be 80-20 instead of 95-5 and that spells doom to the Democrats.

It was pointed out elsewhere that this interview was on the Biden campaign's radar for a very long time. Then Old Joe shows up and is unprepared. While he will still get a large percentage of the black vote (If he is the nominee), it will be unenthusiastic and less than needed to win.

If there was any doubt prior to this that the hair-sniffing pervert would pick a black candidate as his VP running mate, this should remove all doubt. His handlers just had to know his big mouth would get him in trouble doing this interview. He's just too arrogant, not to mention stupid. I'm betting Amy Klobuchar, the governor of Michigan (whatever her name is), and any other non-black VP hopefuls are still crying themselves to sleep at night. Doesn't matter, Plugs isn't going to win, if he even makes it to November.

I don't believe there is much a Democrat can do or say that will change the way black or Jewish people vote one way or the other. Only 16 percent of blacks describe themselves as independents - that's less than half of the 38% overall Independent figure. Similarly, only 20% of Jewish voters call themselves Independents. With such a lack of independent thinking, Democrats are able take these groups for granted. Biden isn't worried.

Two years ago, then-Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein chafed when asked whether congressional Republicans might have legitimate reason to suspect the factual underpinnings of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrants that targeted Trump campaign adviser Carter Page in the Russia probe. Seeming a bit perturbed, Rosenstein launched into a mini-lecture on how much care and work went into FISA applications at the FBI and Justice Department. "There's a lot of talk about FISA applications. Many people I've seen talk about it seem not to recognize that a FISA application is actually a warrant, just like a search warrant.

Thousands of protesters have marched on the home of Mayor Bill de Blasio calling for him to resign. It was actually even larger than that would appear, it reportedly stretched for 19 blocks. They reached the home and demanded he go.It’s true, everyone of every stripe hates de Blasio. Some wags joked the thousands of protesters were just there to pick up Chiara de Blasio, who had been arrested during a protest a couple of nights ago. Folks on the left are angry about him imposing a curfew, folks on the right and in the center see the city dissolving into chaos, and de Blasio doing nothing.

Is there a better quote for America today than Oscar Wilde’s “We’re all lying in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars”? We all have that choice—and it is more than routinely ironic that the very weekend our country is protesting and rioting over the abhorrent murder of George Floyd, we have returned to space thanks to Elon Musk, the quintessential entrepreneur of our time. Even more, this is all happening at the time our citizens are just beginning to peek out from their pandemic-induced shelters. Which side are you on, as we used to sing? Speaking for myself, I choose Musk. “Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive and eliminate the negative

Minnesota, the longtime Democratic presidential stronghold that Donald Trump nearly won in 2016, has suddenly become ground zero in a campaign that already promised to inflame racial and cultural divides. The shockwaves from the brutal death of George Floyd, who died in police custody on Monday are forcing a reckoning on the issue of police violence against African-Americans — a debate with political implications that reach far beyond the swing state’s borders.Within Minnesota, there are already discussions about the potential impact on several competitive congressional races. Sen. Amy Klobuchar’s history as a local prosecutor is suddenly under heightened scrutiny, leading to widespread speculation

Afew days ago, people in a Staten Island grocery store collectively shrieked in panicked terror because a fellow shopper was not wearing a surgical mask. Hysteria quickly ensued, with masked shoppers forming a threatening mob, as some howled, “GET OUT! GET OUT!” and driving the non-masked deviant away from the store. Watching the video on Twitter (of course!) was like seeing people in the Old Testament shrieking “Unclean! Unclean!” at an approaching leper. Were these terrified people justified in ejecting the maskless shopper

Last week, the Florida National Guard offered free COVID-19 testing in Collier County, but they weren’t overwhelmed with panic-stricken residents seeking tests. Located on the state’s southwest coast, Collier has not been a viral hotspot, and there seems to be little danger of a major outbreak there. With a population of about 385,000, the county has reported 1,334 coronavirus infections since March. Only 178 of those cases required hospitalization, and as of Wednesday, the county had recorded 46 deaths from the disease. The worst problem for local residents was when Naples reopened its beaches earlier this month, prompting an influx of “out-of-towners,”

Most of New York, Michigan and the Washington D.C. metro area remains under lockdown through at least Memorial Day weekend. The Democratic Party has taken the black vote for granted for decades, but on Friday former Vice President Joe Biden took this view to a new and very hurtful level. During a morning interview on a popular urban radio show, “The Breakfast Club,” Biden said: “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, you ain’t black.”In civil discourse, we must be able to disagree and to make our case without reducing American voters to the color of their skin. Biden’s statement is the epitome of arrogance and condescension. He challenged millions of black Americans – the descendants of slaves – to choose

Sheldon Whitehouse, a far-left Democrat from the judge’s home state of Rhode Island. McConnell owes his job to Whitehouse, who asked President Barack Obama to nominate him to become a federal judge.A recent CQ Roll Call investigation showed that McConnell gave about $500,000 to Democratic political committees before becoming a judge – more than any other judge nominated by Presidents Obama or Trump. Why should you care? Because McConnell sits on the Committee on Codes of Conduct of the U.S. Judicial Conference. The committee sets ethical guidelines for federal judges

Mr. Graham, who chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee, said Antifa has played “a part” in the civil unrest. But the South Carolina Republican noted that rioting and looting happened during protests long before the militant anti-fascist group became a movement. “We will try to find out how organized this violence is,” Mr. Graham said. “But I am old enough to remember 1968, and Antifa was not around in 1968, that I know of.”
