Starving rats growing increasingly "aggressive" are starting to become a problem as the coronavirus pandemic continues. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warned last week that restaurant closures and restrictions intended to combat the spread of the COVID-19 virus have left trash bins less full than usual, cutting into a major food source for rodents. In a battle over slim pickings, some have become more aggressive, leading to reports of rat cannibalism and rodent armies on city streets.“Some jurisdictions have reported an increase in rodent activity as rodents search for new sources of food,” the CDC said.

Simple. Move someplace nice. Or not so simple if you partied through your gender studies college days. Enjoy your ratatouille, suckers!

So, since restaurants have been closed and trash bins are depleted, rats are starving? That says a whole lot about the amount of garbage that comes from restaurants and how it supports the rat race that's not very appealing. I'll bet you can trace the reason for so much garbage to some sort of government regulation. I worked part-time at Bojangles when I was in college many years ago. We had to count the leftover food, then throw it away every night. There was so much food thrown into the trash; food that could have been donated to a shelter or something. Back then, we didn't have shelters the way that we do now, though. The managers often looked the other way while we provided bags of donations to starving college students who befriended us just for that reason. All the girls in my dorm were certainly nice to me for that reason, and I was happy to feed them. I didn't grow up in a home where food was wasted, so I never got used to the waste. I grew up on a farm my first 8-10 years, and I remember how we used everything, wasted nothing, and shared our food with people who didn't have much. Apologies for the rant; I just had a moment of longing for the days gone by.

How about this. The Republic of Texas will issue passports to its citizens, the legal ones. Everybody else can leave and go through the Texas legal immigration process. It's pretty dam close folks if the Dems try to cheat the fair election process.
The Republic of California can continue its attempt to be medieval England (or Spain) and learn to love rats.

The CDC went on to say that they much prefer docile friendly rats contaminating our restaurants.

My neighborhood (north of Buffalo) has seen an increase in rats, too. I hadn't made the connection to restauarant closures. My neighbor's little terrier has been catching and killing them. The Beast at my house chases them over there from my yard.

Aggressive rodents roaming the streets of major cities. Well, that would describe the normal human population of those cities.

Time for a bounty on rat bodies. But PETA would send out the hounds and sue, since rats have rights, too. My guess is the Demonrats will demand a billion federal dollars to feed the poor rats, instead

Rats gotta eat too! Looking at this article, it occurs to me that rats actually provide a service. Without the Rats eating the garbage, the city streets would be swarmed with flies and the smell of rotting food.
It also occurs to me that "people" could better control rat populations by generating less food waste and disposing of said waste in rat proof containers.
Culture and night life does have its unseen costs.

I've got a rat terrier named Roscoe. He looks in the mirror each morning, adjusts his tie, and asks himself, "How many grizzly bears do I want to eat today?". Give me a call. Roscoe will take care of your rat problem. Ratties are great dogs.

Leaving our cities largely unoccupied and unprotected except for the homeless, criminals and rats will have a mistake as big as paying millions of people to sit in their basements to do nothing: An experiment never tried in the history of civilization. One that historians will record with astonishment and revulsion.

Then why aren't they starving to death ? Good time to round them up. You would think rat on a stick on the barbie would appeal to some.

Actual rats are openly forming armies to do the job that demonrats haven't done yet but it'll be coming if they get power again.
