The letter, signed by one of the most powerful lawmakers on Capitol Hill and addressed to Fusion GPS, indicated the jig was up. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) asked Glenn Simpson, Fusion’s co-owner, 13 questions about his involvement with the so-called Steele dossier and ties to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. (Snip) The letter showed that Senate Republicans were aware Christopher Steele was a paid operative working on behalf of Trump’s Democratic enemies inside and outside the government. Further, the dossier wasn’t raw intelligence exposing collusion between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin; (Snip) The date of the letter? March 24, 2017.

Term limits. After too many years, they become members of the Good Old Boys Club, and they don’t want to make threatening moves toward anyone - including the FBI and the corrupt former president.

Time to TERM LIMIT the old "Low-T" GOP/RINOS Pull quote from the article. "Senate Republicans backed a destructive special counsel probe into a crime they knew did not exist". Another: "Senate Republicans aided and abetted the unjustified sabotage of Trump’s first term". One more: "What we witnessed over the past three years is the greatest abdication of power in recent history. Senate Republicans, perhaps intentionally, gave cover to bad actors including James Comey, John Brennan, Andrew McCabe and Robert Mueller. (The now-deceased Arizona Republican, Senator John McCain, played a key role in fueling the collusion narrative, as I detailed last year, as a way to exact revenge against Trump." Those lousy old Rinos danced to the tune of the media fiddles as the President was attacked from all sides and DIDN'T LIFT A FINGER to help him from the scurrilous fake charges. Other than padding their own incomes with inside information and plotting their own re-elections, they have done little to represent the interests of others. TERM LIMITS!!!

I'm guessing the Dems have significant dirt on Miss Lindsey, and the rest didn't want Trump messing up their invites to the "cool" cocktail parties. For years, the Senate Republicans have been putting on a show for the rubes in flyover country while playing footsie with their Democrat buddies. Trump threatened their game and actually has held them to their promises. They can't be happy about that.

Term limits is not the panacea conservative voters envision. California has had term limits since the early 90's. Thirty years later and the CA-GOP is on life support. Term limits are just a change in rules and the professional pols always find a way around the rules. MAGA-KAG: Its Trump and patriotic Americans against the Uniparty. My money's on Trump.

The framers warned us about political parties, they called them factions. 1st job of poly is to get re-elected. Time for the patriots to stand up and take charge, get patriots elected to the school board, then to the city council, then Mayor. Insure patriots are in charge of city hall, and elect patriots as judges and prosecutors. Cities first, then counties and finally the State. Not easy but not impossible.

Author Robert Fulghum once wrote, “All I really need to know about how to live and what to do and how to be I learned in kindergarten. Wisdom was not at the top of the graduate-school mountain, but there in the sandpile at Sunday School.” In the exceedingly complex tale of the Michael Flynn prosecution, it’s easy to drown in the details. But it helps to remember that many of the principles of due process and fairness enshrined in our Constitution actually spring from our common experience in the court of kindergarten. Just when you thought the Gen. Flynn case couldn’t get any more weird. Let’s briefly recap the madness: The FBI conducts a counter-intelligence investigation of Gen. Flynn to determine if he’s a Russian agent, and finds after almost five months there is “no derogatory information” on him. James Comey decides he wants agents to interview Gen. Flynn about phone calls with the Russian Ambassador — not regular Special Agents though, he sends a Supervisor and an Deputy Assistant Director. James Comey says even though Gen. Flynn wasn’t truthful with Agents, he did not think Gen. Flynn would face any criminal charges. James Comey gets fired by Pres. Trump, and Rod Rosenstein names Robert Mueller

WASHINGTON – The Justice Department warned state and local officials Friday of the possible illegality of their stay-at-home orders, as the agency continues to monitor restrictions meant to contain the spread of COVID-19. In a letter to Los Angeles officials, Assistant Attorney General Eric Dreiband said their recent comments suggesting that stay-at-home orders may stay in place longer "may be both arbitrary and unlawful." The Justice Department also said that Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker's "sweeping limitations" on Illinois residents raise constitutional concerns. Harvard psychology professor Steven Pinker said Thursday that the push for reopening society from lockdowns comes from Christianity’s “malignant delusion” of belief in an afterlife. Atheists who believe in this life alone are more concerned with health and safety, Professor Pinker suggested in a Tweet, while Christians tend to devalue “actual lives” and live a riskier existence. Belief in an afterlife is a malignant delusion, since it devalues actual lives and discourages action that would make them longer, safer, and happier.
