New York nursing homes were forced to accept more than 4,500 coronavirus patients from hospitals thanks to an order from Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a tally by The Associated Press found. Cuomo has come under heated criticism for his March 25 order forcing recovering COVID-19 patients into New York nursing homes — a decision blamed for the state’s high body count among the elderly. The governor waited roughly six weeks before reversing the order on May 10. The New York State Department of Health refused to release the results of an internal survey on how many coronavirus patients were placed in nursing homes across the state,

Gruesome Newsom did the same thing in California. At a recent "news" conference he was asked about it. He deflected and said it was in Trump's CDC guidelines. Since I haven't heard this excuse used by the other Dim govs I'm guessing it doesn't pan out. The commies are not used to being questioned. They're not used to their schemes being revealed. Their totalitarian anti-American philosophy is getting harder to hide. Millions of Americans who thought politics didn't really effect them are now learning the importance of an informed vote. The Murder Party will not be popular come November.

Now that low-life Cuomo is blaming the NY nursing home deaths on Trump! Hey Cuomo, you got it wrong while Gov DeSantis in FL got it right.

They could easily move healthy people to one site and designate another nursing home for covid. The only explanation I can fathom is that they wanted the death toll to be higher for political reasons. The elderly are always a drain on the state medical budget, so it was a win win.

I realize hindsight is 20/20 but, as a retired healthcare professional, I can't believe the Nursing Home Association or the American Nurses Association did not fall on their sword and stop these admits. I'm relegated to being a laptop warrior these days but from the safety of my she-cave I was calling for airport hangers to be converted into make-shift nursing homes for the recently diagnosed Covid. Segregation was the only way to protect the non Covid patients. I called for this before the ship arrived and tents were set up. They also needed separate staff. Communicable diseases are...communicable....duh....infection control 101.

Criminal negligence at best. Probably involuntary manslaughter (how many counts?). Let's see who goes to jail. Not just Cuomo but every upper level bureaucrat who had anything to do with this should be indicted.

Negligent homicide on the part of Cuomo. Michigan needs an emergency restraining order to stop Cruela De Vil from doing it in Michigan.

A Canadian court has ruled that the case of senior Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou, who is fighting extradition to the United States, can go forward. A judge found that the case meets the threshold of double criminality - meaning the charges would be crimes in both the US and Canada. The US wants Ms Meng to stand trial on charges linked to the alleged violation of US sanctions against Iran. Her case has created a rift between China and Canada. Her lead defence lawyer, Richard Peck, has argued in court that Canada is effectively being asked "to enforce US sanctions". But Associate Chief Justice Heather Holmes ruled

Gavin Newsom said his state is "weeks away" from allowing in-person religious services to resume. A group of federal attorneys wrote a letter to Newsom warning him that prolonged church closures likely violate the Free Exercise Clause of the First Amendment due to the fact that similar non-religious businesses are receiving the green light to reopen in Stage 2. "Laws that do not treat religious activities equally with comparable nonreligious activities are subject to heightened scrutiny under the Free Exercise Clause of the First Amendment," the letter states.

Fauci said evidence also shows the likelihood that the drug can cause severe irregular heart rhythms. The pronouncements mark Fauci's strongest warnings yet against the drug and puts him at odds with President Trump, who has embraced the drug as a "game changer" and a "miracle."

It is not just that Democrats and Republicans disagree on how to reopen businesses, schools and the country as a whole. Beyond perception, beyond ideology,
