fellow Democrats over censure after

State Rep. Karen Whitsett, D-Detroit, filed a federal lawsuit Thursday against Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and several fellow Democrats, claiming violations of free speech and defamation. Specifically, Whitsett claimed Whitmer and the 13th Congressional District Democratic Party Organization sought to deprive her of her right to engage in protected speech after she publicly thanked President Donald Trump for his suggestion of using the drug hydroxychloroquine to treat her coronavirus case. Whitsett contracted the virus in March and has been open about her appreciation for the president’s suggestion, which she says saved her life.

Comments:

Keep your whits straight when reading this article. Whitmer is the attacker and Whitsett is the victim.

Comrade Fuhrer Whitmer is cracking the party loyalty whip and letting all members in the Wafen SS ranks know that whatever Trump is for, that everyone in the Democrat National Socialist Workers Party are all to be united in being against it. No matter what it is. So she stepped out of line and got smacked down for it to send a message. The beatings will continue until morale improves, my fellow workers.

While it remains unproven that hydroxychloroquine can effectively treat COVID-19,/I>Whitsett was healed by the hydroxychloroquine Combo and is alive because of it! So do Gov. Whitmer and fellow Dems actually want Rep Whitsett to be Dead, rather than attribute her Life Saving by the Drug Combo that POTUS Trump had lauded?

This is a remarkable testimony of the hardness of human hearts and the ability to deny heartfelt testimony to retain power. In John, chapter 9 Jesus heals a blind man. The man is brought before the Pharisees who question him. No one, not even his parents, are willing to testify as to the truth of the healed man's claim for fear that they will be cast out of the synagogue. The Pharisees grill the man who simply states the facts of the event - that Jesus healed his blindness. They remained unconvinced and held the man in contempt. This is not a claim that the doctor administering HCQ or Trump recommending it are miracle workers. The point is that the Pharisees of another stripe still exist, and still close their eyes and cover their ears to prevent even a whisper or flash of a new truth to infect them. Some things never change.

On Jenny Marr's 34th birthday, she and her husband decided it was time to start trying for a baby. Both only children, Jenny Marr, 35, and her husband, Chris Marr, 35, live in Dallas. They would have been happy with just one child - a compact family of four, including their dog Zeke. On Oct. 6, she took a pregnancy test: It was positive. The couple, yearning to hear the sound of a steady heartbeat, began counting down until they would finally see their baby on a sonogram screen. After receiving a formal warning from the United States Justice Department over church closures, California Gov. Gavin Newsom said his state is "weeks away" from allowing in-person religious services to resume. A group of federal attorneys wrote a letter to Newsom warning him that prolonged church closures likely violate the Free Exercise Clause of the First Amendment due to the fact that similar non-religious businesses are receiving the green light to reopen in Stage 2. "Laws that do not treat religious activities equally with comparable nonreligious activities are subject to heightened scrutiny under the Free Exercise Clause of the First Amendment," the letter states.

Is Judge Emmet Sullivan’s collusion cameo nearing its end? Today, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, on its own motion, ordered Judge Sullivan to respond within ten days to the petition for a writ of mandamus filed by Michael Flynn. Earlier this week, Flynn’s counsel, Sidney Powell, filed the petition for that extraordinary writ, asking the appellate court to instruct Sullivan to grant the Justice Department’s motion to dismiss the case against Flynn. That was after Judge Sullivan not only declined to grant the prosecution’s motion, but (a) invited non-parties to intervene in the case by filing amicus briefs (transparently, to make arguments that he somehow has

The administration said Russia has repeatedly violated the pact’s terms. Senior officials said the pullout will formally take place in six months, based on the treaty’s withdrawal terms. “I think we have a very good relationship with Russia. But Russia didn’t adhere to the treaty. So until they adhere we will pull out,” U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters.

Arizona lawmakers are moving to erect new hurdles to protect individuals from having their property seized by the state. SB 1556 would end the ability of prosecutors to be able to take property simply by convincing a judge that it is connected to criminal activity. Instead, they would have to actually first convict someone of a crime. The 6-4 vote Wednesday by the House Judiciary Committee came over the objections of prosecutors who argued that it would impair their ability to protect Arizonans from criminal activity. But (snip) their real objection is that the current law allows prosecutors — and the police agencies (snip) — to keep what they seize.

A judge in rural Oregon on Monday tossed out statewide coronavirus restrictions imposed by Democratic Gov. Kate Brown, saying she didn’t seek the Legislature's approval to extend the stay-at-home orders beyond a 28-day limit. Baker County Circuit Judge Matthew Shirtcliff issued his opinion in response to a lawsuit filed earlier this month by 10 churches around Oregon that argued the state's social-distancing directives were unconstitutional. Brown filed paperwork within hours seeking an emergency review by the Oregon Supreme Court and a hold on the ruling until the high court could take it up. Her attorneys had asked the judge to stay his ruling until that time, but he declined.

Stay-home orders that extend too long could cause the U.S. “irreparable damage,” Dr. Anthony Fauci warned Friday. Strict crackdowns on large gatherings and other orders, such as for home quarantines, were needed when the coronavirus first hit the nation, but those rules can now begin to be lifted in many parts of the country, Fauci said during an interview on CNBC. “I don’t want people to think that any of us feel that staying locked down for a prolonged period of time is the way to go,” the member of the White House coronavirus task force said.

Every state and local politician who imposed lockdowns pursuant to the COVID-19 pandemic claimed their decisions were based on “the science.” In reality, they ignored the advice of leading epidemiologists, relying instead on statistical models produced by “experts” with histories of wildly inaccurate projections. The most notorious of these oracles was, of course, Neil Ferguson of Imperial College London, who claimed that coronavirus could kill 2.2 million Americans. Based on such apocalyptic predictions, combined with overcautious warnings from Beltway bureaucrats like Dr. Anthony Fauci, all but a few governors implemented economically destructive stay-at-home orders — despite the reservations of respected epidemiologists who questioned the logic of lockdowns from the beginning.

There are so many angles to the FBI-Michael Flynn imbroglio, and most have been covered in great depth across a divergent set of viewpoints. But one aspect that has not been covered, and that opens up a wider lens into FBI policy, is the fact that the FBI refuses to audiotape, much less videotape, interviews of witnesses or suspects such as Flynn. That policy is counterproductive and makes no sense in 2020. The FBI needs to take itself out of the J. Edgar Hoover era and align itself with modern law enforcement best practices.
