Attorney General William Barr has installed a new top deputy over the federal prosecutor's office for Washington, raising concerns that a key U.S. attorney's office handling multiple investigations of interest to President Donald Trump is becoming further politicized.
The arrival of Associate Deputy Attorney General Michael Sherwin - who won the conviction of a Chinese trespasser at President Trump's Mar-a-Lago Club in Florida in September - has triggered new accusations that Justice Department leaders are bypassing career prosecutors in the office and intervening in cases favoring the president's allies, current and former federal prosecutors in the office said.

If the WaPo is concerned, this has to be a good thing.

The multiple spying and frivolous impeachment attempts against the President were not politicized operations but the investigation of those crimes is? Do these WaPo clowns even hear themselves? Do they not see that the democrats are nitwits because they themselves are nitwits?

Where were the whinners when Barry installed incompetent state US attorneys? These attorneys should count themselves lucky they weren't all fired when PT took office (like the Horn Dog did). What Barr did is called semi-draining the Barry swamp.

Remember when Obama sacked all the career attorney generals after dems complained of W doing it?
Remember when the press that was just a normal function when a new President took office and had nothing to do with politicizing the justice department.
Pepperidge Farm remembers.

WP didn’t complain when Mueller hired 19 prosecutors, issued 500 warrants, 2800 subpoena, spent 40 million $$, Sent 17 agent with armored vehicles to arrest someone who lied to Congress.

Barr is brilliant. Note how he kept Rosenstein close--for a while, probably suspecting Rosenstein's treachery. Note how, when the time came to investigate the Russia probe, Barr went out of the swamp to secure Durham. When he smelled a rat in the Flynn case, Barr went out of the swamp to find Jensen to review the file. Now Barr brings in someone he can trust, not one of the dozens of leftist, Obama-loving, Trump-hating prosecutors at DOJ, all of whom are knee-deep in the swamp. Again and again, when the flack starts raining down on you, you know you're getting close to the target. Brilliant.

TheWashington D.C. Obama prosecutors and Black Democrat juries nullify justice for Republicans. They refused to even indict Andrew McCabe or carry out an order to reduce General Flynn’s life sentence. We need somebody new lording over them. Godspeed Mr. Sherwin comes to Washington and happy hunting.

I hate to tell everyone, but AG Barr is the boss and he can hire and fire anyone he wants. I heard the same story from the democrats when President Trump hired a business women to clean up the U.S. Postal Serivce. The democrats said it was unfair because he should have hired someone that came up through the ranks. Well, that was the problem all along and that is why the Postal Service is in trouble today, because they kept hiring someone that came up through the ranks.

Classic media hyperbole -
Raising concerns...(whose concerns?)
Many experts contend...(experts at what ?)
The common sensical approach would be...(really?)
Many members believe...(but not all?)
Clearly, he cannot...(clear to whom?)
Outrageous, indignant, selfish, defiantly, stubbornly, wrong-headed, mean-spirited...
I am so tired of media wordsmithing.

WaPo is trying to set the narrative that any charges/indictments coming out of Durham's investigations are purely political and should be disregarded. After decades of left-wing bias dating back to Woodward and Bernstein, WaPo's intentions are pretty obvious. Bezos little propaganda machine is so predictable.
