Stacey Abrams would be the most
preposterous vice-presidential pick ever

Stacey Abrams has another distinction to add to her resume — she is among the most preposterous potential vice-presidential candidates ever. Her attempt to leverage a failed Georgia gubernatorial bid into a spot on the Democratic ticket is so brazenly absurd that it’s hard to think of precedents. But the 46-year-old African-American activist isn’t one to be constrained by standard political practice — or reality. She refused to concede her narrow but clear 2018 gubernatorial loss, instead alleging she’d been undone by a massive voter-suppression scheme. As she put it at a recent event, “malfeasance and incompetence and my opponent, who was a cartoon villain,

I can't believe that Tucker devoted a whole segment to her and the ridiculous notion that she is VP material, and never mentioned that she is "self taught" on foreign policy issues and that she writes romance novels. She sounds just perfect. She and Joe would make a super team to really get this economy back up and running. (Check out Selena Montgomery on Amazon if you're a fan of romance novels)

In the crazy world we live in anything is possible. The dims might win/steal the election. In that case whatever is Quid Pro Joe's VEEP would be POTUS within months. At least the pompous pachyderm is so arrogant doubt she could get anything done. But doubt she would be picked by Bird Brain Bidet. There are plenty of skeletons in her closet. First, she is unmarried. Americans like officials with normal personal lives. Second, she write porn novels on the side. Third, she was a float is the LSMFT parade in Atlanta, Fourth, even thought she has made plenty of money as an ambulance chaser she has maxed her credit cards and failed to pay her taxes. Fifth, who wants to see a morbidly obese manatee for years.

Correct, #2. Broken down, preposterous means prehistoric posterior, in other words, body of dinosaur. Biden himself would be the worst VP to date so to find somebody younger, dumber and not a threat via Arkancide, Stacey wins.

Biden should select Abrams. Then he would no longer be the most preposterous VP pick ever. Considering the Democrats have recently nominated Kaine, Algore, Breck Girl Edwards, Mondale, Lord Bentsen, and Ferraro, that's just a massive load of preposterous precedent. Biden and Abrams are simply the lower reaches of that cesspool.

The Democrats best choice was a geriatric liberal stand-in with dementia. Now, because Biden let himself be manipulated into vowing to choose a female VP he is stuck with few viable choices and all with a whole lot of political baggage. Abrams would probably be his worse choice but who would be better?

I was going to suggest that Maxine Waters might be a more preposterous pick for VP running mate. But, after more study, I had to conclude it would be a close tie. Both Waters and Abrams show a marked hostility toward anybody that is not black. Both constantly play the race card to cover the fact that at best they are mediocre candidates. And, the DNC seems to be afraid of both of them,

Nobody sees, it's not the, look, Stacey is a brilliant woman of color but when Joe prayed to the thing, he was told via the internet connection in his rec room to pick the most brilliant woman of color, Carol Channing. Joe knows smart in a woman from his gig as a professor at the University of Pennsylvania. That, it's not even, and Trump killed millions of people with the corona virus and lost eighty five thousand jobs when Roosevelt did some things after World War 2. That's why Carol is the perfect fit for Joe. There's not even a chance for, he's made it clear that look, when the 600 million unemployed American women get the great paying jobs they deserve, Joe will get more black kids to stroke his tanned legs. Is that clear enough?

The governor’s race was not as close as the article states. Kemp won by almost 55,000 votes. That is a pretty clear margin. The article is right in that Abrams is wholly unqualified to even think about a Vice President slot. That is the hubris of the entitled left, however. Nothing qualifies you more than an arrogant attitude and the proper skin color. None of the potential candidates for VP gives me pause. What keeps me up at night is voter fraud. You know the democrat party will use every trick in the book which is why we must turn out in massive numbers to vote for the President. Now more than ever, Trump 2020 and every “R” down ballot.

If there is currently any other semi-serious politician on our radar screens that is more arrogant than Kamala Harris, more delusional than Beto O'Rourke, more incompetent than "Mayor" Pete Bhudda-jug and more white-hating than Maxine Waters I can't think of one. Stacey is big enough to be all 4 at once. And, yes, she is a skinny Obama, who is just like her, but he doesn't count as he'll never get elected to anything ever again as he's too busy counting his millions on Martha's Vineyard. But it's all about holding the House now and trying to take the Senate ... I do believe the Dems have written off the White House.

#2, that's pretty good. The original (Latin) is even better: it breaks down (Anglicized) into "pre", as in "before in sequence", and "posterous", the root of which roughly translates as "that which goes behind". Shoving Stacy Abrams out front is as good an example of putting the @ss before "Lead from Behind" Biden asI can think of.

Advertising 101: name recognition sells your product. Like it or not, the woman has figured this out (aided and abetted by the media). Even Rich Lowry has fallen for the trap. The more we mention her name, the closer she will get to being the dem’s VP nominee. As usual, dem power brokers will opt for what makes them feel good no matter how illogical their choice may be. I agree, #30. Michelle Obama’s physical transformation after Obama was elected is evidence that outward appearance can be dramatically changed as well as how a person presents themselves to the public. It’s what they stand for and how effective and committed they are at getting it done that determines my vote. Ms. Abrams wouldn’t be on my political radar if she had all of the beauty and intelligence she lacks, because what she stands for and what she would do is much uglier than Stacey Abrams.

As soon as the Bolsheviks took over Russia in October 1917, Vladimir Lenin began churning out rubles. In fact, he spent half the state's revenue on just the printing of new currency. Within a year, the ruble was worth 100,000,000 times less than it had been before the communists took over. Existing rubles, and any investment denominated in rubles, were worthless. Lenin's inflationary program was not a response to the need for an increased money supply. It was a deliberate strategy designed to eliminate money as a means of transactions and, with it, to crush capitalism.

The media, computer modelers, epidemiologists, and the censors keeping dissenting views off of social media have succeeded in terrifying much of the political class and the American public into accepting far-reaching suspensions of civil liberties in the name of suppressing the spread of a Covid-19, a highly communicable flu strain whose lethality principally affects the elderly and those with comorbidities. At the moment it is an open question whether the lockdown ”cure” will end up being more lethal than the disease. Last week, American Thinker took some flak, including from some conservatives for publishing Peter Barry Chowka’s warning, “Mandatory coronavirus vaccination looming on the horizon.”

Three Democratic members of the Staunton, Virginia, city council were ousted by Republicans on Tuesday despite receiving more votes than they did four years ago. Republican candidates Mark Robertson, Amy Darby, and Steve Claffey all joined incumbent Andrea Oakes in a four-seat GOP sweep, WHSV reported. The three incoming council members replaced Democratic incumbents Erik Curren, Ophie Kier, and James Harrington all almost doubled their vote totals from 2016, yet still lost. Local outlet Augusta Free Press reporter Chris Graham called the results “stunning almost beyond words.”

Were About Science?

Every state and local politician who imposed lockdowns pursuant to the COVID-19 pandemic claimed their decisions were based on “the science.” In reality, they ignored the advice of leading epidemiologists, relying instead on statistical models produced by “experts” with histories of wildly inaccurate projections. The most notorious of these oracles was, of course, Neil Ferguson of Imperial College London, who claimed that coronavirus could kill 2.2 million Americans. Based on such apocalyptic predictions, combined with overcautious warnings from Beltway bureaucrats like Dr. Anthony Fauci, all but a few governors implemented economically destructive stay-at-home orders — despite the reservations of respected epidemiologists who questioned the logic of lockdowns from the beginning.

In light of the nursing home disaster in New York, what kind of a ghoul would take that as an example to emulate instead of a baleful death warning to avoid, and then order contagious COVID-19 patients into her state's nursing homes? Only Michigan's hard-faced Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, the ambitious Democrat who banned sales of garden seeds to Michiganders, saying she's doing it in the name of keeping everyone "safe." "Safe" to Whitmer is seeding the nursing homes with COVID-19 patients, supposedly as a means of lightening the loads of hospitals. Too bad if Granny

In an era when American politics is dominated by obnoxious loud mouths, it’s not surprising that Mark Cuban thinks he should have a big role. Cuban deems himself presidential timber, and has not ruled out running for president in 2024. Last night Cuban went on Sean Hannity’s program to question President Trump’s leadership. Cuban told Hannity: He can’t be blaming the victim all the — you know, Sean, this is what really bothers me about the president. He’s the most powerful man in the world and he always plays the victim card. ‘The Dems are out to get me, the media is out to get me.’

There are so many angles to the FBI-Michael Flynn imbroglio, and most have been covered in great depth across a divergent set of viewpoints. But one aspect that has not been covered, and that opens up a wider lens into FBI policy, is the fact that the FBI refuses to audiotape, much less videotape, interviews of witnesses or suspects such as Flynn. That policy is counterproductive and makes no sense in 2020. The FBI needs to take itself out of the J. Edgar Hoover era and align itself with modern law enforcement best practices.

Michigan's attorney general urged President Trump to wear a face mask when he visits the state Thursday to tour a Ford Motor Co. plant and to adhere to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's coronavirus executive order, telling the commander in chief that he has a "legal responsibility" to follow the law. Dana Nessel, a Democrat, penned an open letter to Trump Wednesday asking him to follow the face-covering policy of Ford Motor Co. and of the state of Michigan.

Recent headlines suggest that mask wearing has become a signal of political allegiance, with the left choosing to wear masks and the right refusing to. Yet COVID-19 affects people of all political persuasions who, like it or not, share similar biological susceptibility to this disruptive disease. This is not to say that social factors are not relevant. Early reports trying to understand why ethnicity seems to be a factor have indicated that access to medical care, different living arrangements, work environments and even outdoor spaces make a huge difference to people’s experience and sometimes survival in this pandemic. But there
