It’s not rocket science to say the beginning of Trump hatred came from the Clinton campaign. He was once feted in New York, even by liberals. How did it change from high regard to hated? One thing is clear, dislike was instant once Trump entered the race as a Republican, increased as he ran, and took a quantum leap forward when he won the election. To this day the hatred has grown on a level hardly thought possible. It has now become common for leftists to accost those who differ by going into hysterics. Hysterics often exhibiting shrieking about how Trump lies, and how he’s

George Washington complained about the newspaper dislike of him but no President has faced the hatred directed at Trump

FTA: "I am speaking of hostile, irrational, blood boiling, bug eyed, beyond the pale, unstable, demented, wild, aberrant insanity."
Don't sugar coat it.

The socialist autocrats hate you if you challenge their power...they disliked the Bushes, they hated Reagan...but Trump gets a visceral, double secret probation type of hate...that is why his "deplorables" love him

Trump is the first President to ever turn back socialism. Trump has erased everything Obama ever did. That's what the left hates so much. Those are great accomplishments by Trump, but he should be very careful with the emergence of actions taken on this virus. The measures taken have brought back socialism worse than ever. New legislation has to be passed at the federal and state level defining emergencies and limiting the duration, and requiring Congressional and state legislatures to approve those measures after a short period of time. We cannot have a President shut down the entire American economy without a discussion. We cannot permit left wing doctors to have all the say, and nobody else in the profession to even be consulted. We cannot allow this kind of emergency power to pass into the hands of Democrats.

I have some liberal friends who go nuts when talking about Trump. I can tell by what they say that they've been listening to Rachael Maddow and MSNBC. I usually just sit silently while they rant on, and change the subject at the first opportunity. It is fascinating to watch otherwise rational people go full-on, bug-eyed, spit-spewing crazy. I'm waiting for one to stroke out.

" It was etched in the hearts of every left-leaning journalist" meaning most all of them. What does it say that "journalists" could be so indoctrinated by campaign messages from the Queen of lies? That they are feeble minded and therefore useless in their jobs?
I am not surprised that many dem voters are subject to such insanity. Dem voters tend to be emotionally driven to begin with and when the dems are beating jungle drums of hatred, it is not unusual that the message would find a safe home in dem voters psyche. What it means is that dems are no longer composed of people of good faith that we disagree with. Dems are a rabid mob and we better make sure we keep that in mind.
BO's presidency made it clear that the dem leaders are willing to destroy our government and Country to get what they want. They were trying to be stealthy about it but they have been forced into the open.
As the article suggests, there is not a lot we can do with the third of the Country that are insane dems. We must fight to keep the levers of power out of their leaders hands and thereby out of the crazy voters hands as well. We need to keep up a rejection of media that cannot be trusted and is little more than a propaganda machine. We cannot be passive or accommodating about it. These people are crazy angry, dangerous, and destructive.

So many of these liberals believe they are smarter than everyone else, yet they so often resort to acting like children, latching on to phrases and buzzwords. They seem to have no ability to think critically. Trumps “lies” are of their favorite. Somehow they ignore how Obummer and Hildabeast told one whopper after another, real lies, such as if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. Yet, these supposedly smart people can’t distinguish the puffing Trump does from actual material lies.

I recently joined Facebook and the level of Trump hatred there by people I once thought were sane is absolutely staggering and scary.
And the article is right. It started with the Clintons and has just continually ramped up since the 1990's.

Around our town, it is popular to have signs on your lawn or car stating "Hate Has No Home Here." I looked at my husband and said, "I personally feel no hatred toward anyone. Why do I always feel that the person living in that house is full of hatred and the person they hate is me?"

They are mentally ill. It's just that simple. They are emotionally unstable and emotionally invested in hating him. Nothing even remotely rational about it.

It's true. I am a well recognized conservative, but not an extremist, among my circle of friends. Over the years we have had several spirited discussions, me and my liberal friends. Since Trump I cannot talk to them, wife included, about politics without them coming in at 90 decibels on the first sentence. I simply quietly say, "Saying it louder doesn't make it truer. Maybe we should change the subject."

It was bad enough when there were only 3 TV channels and they were Black and White. Society was a lot more defined and it definitely had a lot of ugly shortcomings in the late 1950s, but it sure seemed like there was a range of political positions that could be discussed, rather than argued at full emotional volume.
Now that the liberal/progressive/socialistic/communist control of the media is almost total and that media is 24/7 as well as portable, many of us have turned into propaganda zombies. Some happily accept a seething anger to all things normal and a fantasy of all things impossible. When a subject is touched on like, drugs, guns, sex or freedoms as defined by a central authority, the switch between normal, rational, behavior and this angry zombie person, is instant. Mention the word Trump and watch it happen. All media created.
Advertising works, indoctrination works, entertainment is education. Some eat all of it up without a curious moment or a hesitation, without one question. I can't respect anyone who embraces the childlike emotional view of serious subjects. I resist letting others telling me what to think, but many do not. They somehow think they are informed or seeing the 'truth' but they are just rearranging media propaganda because they like the message. They have adjusted to it, no matter how bizarre, contradictory, or flat out wrong it is.

As informed as liberal anti-Trump people think they are, when confronted with reality, full on screaming of profanity and ugly name calling is their argument!

A Republican friend of mine, hates Trump, like I have never seen anyone hate anyone before. When asked where he gets his news, MSNBC. That shows that MSNBC is toxic to anyone who watches it.
