Much has been reported in recent days about the manner in which the FBI “trapped” President Trump’s former National Security Adviser, retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, into lying in an early 2017 interview. Under federal law, it is strikingly easy for unethical federal officials to successfully play a game of legal “gotcha” with individuals they decide to target. This is precisely why we must insist on maintaining the highest ethical standards for federal investigators and prosecutors, which tragically did not happen in Flynn’s case. What the FBI — then under the leadership of the since-discredited James Comey – did to Gen. Flynn constitutes a blatant violation of the most basic ethical

In reality they should all be charged with a host of crimes, tried en Masse and put in Prison for a minimum of 50 years, NO PAROLE...and have all their assets seized to pay off those they 'tortured' with their illegal processes.
I wouldn't work plea deals with ANY of them...we have the evidence, no need for games.

I think there may be some room in Gitmo for a couple of dozen of them...

Flynn should be able to sue every individual who maliciously persecuted him to not only recover his own losses for his legal defense and other damages, but to set a precedent that abusive prosecutors (and other abusive govt agents) should not be legally protected from their actions.

Okay, Bob...begging the question whether Flynn lied to Mike Pence (or, did Pence misjudge the situation...or is Pence lying), and whether lying to the Courts under oath is okay if done under duress, such as when Flynn pled guilty and swore there was no pressure on him, that he was signing because he was indeed guilty. Some here would shout "PERJURY!" under other circumstances.
Yeah, I want this guy heading my National Security team...he folded.

Coney and the rest of the evil clan should never be able to enjoy an evening out of peace and quiet again. That is give them what the liberals did to Trump supporters.

The ringleaders, Comey, Brennan, Strzok, and perhaps 5 or 6 others deserve a firing squad for treason. The rest deserve life in prison, including Rosenstein, Weissman, and all the evil persecutors on the "Mueller" witch hunt.

Well, honestly, I'd like to see Gen Flynn and Ms Powell BANKRUPT them first in the Civil trial of Flynn vs Comey, et al. Plaintiff's Exhibit 1 can be that yuk-yuk gathering at the 92nd St Y where Comey said "I sent them, I figured I could get away with it." Between the deep state stooges and the incompetent and easily bamboozled lawyers Gen Flynn had prior to hiring Ms Powell, I expect that the settlements and jury awards will at least partially compensate the General and his family for the pain they suffered these past four years (as much as such can). And Ms. Powell is gonna be one very wealthy lawyer off the contingency fees.
Then take them to criminal trial.

I believe it's referred to in law as "Malicious Prosecution" and the penalties can be rather stiff. For sure those lawyers in the DOJ/FBI should be summarily disbarred.

The amazing thing, is they DOJ kept delaying Gen.Flynn's sentencing, and it may be what's enabled all of this information to come to light.
What Comey did was admit he intended for two FBI agents to investigate, under false pretenses, Gen. Flynn as a means to keep the Russian collusion story alive.
Even though they KNEW there was no Russian collusion then, and none now.
This was all so they could attack the Office of the President of the United States, and cripple the Trump administration.

Prosecutorial abuse is becoming more common and frightening - the Duke Lacrosse case, Ted Stevens, Mike Flynn, George Papadopolous, Carter Page, Roger Stone, Paul Manafort, Dinesh D'Souza, and the Wisconsin John Doe investigation. Some were wrongly accused, others were penalized far in excess of normal sentences for similar crimes, and others were denied due process. I used to have faith in our justice system, but not so much anymore. It has become too politicized.

Haha,
Right, Sure, Not in this century.
Prosecution will never happen. House and Senate and RINOs will stop that.
