Friday’s news brought the welcome report that U.S. Attorney John Durham, investigating possibly illegal misconduct by the FBI and CIA against the Trump campaign, is focusing on the FBI’s illegal acts in prosecuting President Trump’s first national security advisor, Gen. Michael Flynn. According to reports by the Washington Examiner and Fox News, Durham is looking closely at newly revealed documents in the Flynn case.
As I wrote here on September 2, there was a conspiracy between the FBI and CIA to prevent Trump’s election and, when that failed, to interfere in his transition to the presidency. The conspiracy aimed at violating the civil rights of Trump

I think the Republicans need to hire the Democrats to do their prosecutions, as the Democrats would have already frog marched these guys to solitary confinement, and months, not years, to do it. Everybody knows what happened, having read it on the internet. What exactly is Durham doing? I know one thing, and that is we will never be told.

O took these agencies, weaponized and politicized them and they disseminated lies and distortions at his command in order to deceive the public or to toe the line. This was a historical event and as the rats begin to get forced into the sunlight the useful idiot media will realize they got played. They can't stop truth only slow it down.

"...Durham is looking closely". If he looks any closer he will need an electron microscope! We the People have had it long ago. Put up or shut up.

I have gotten my hopes up before and they were quickly dashed by the judiciary so I don’t that to happen again. However, it will be the worst travesty of justice if Gen. Flynn is not exonerated. The country is just one more injustice away from an angry uprising and if this goes badly for Gen. Flynn this may be the spark that starts a genuine rebellion. Most people have had it with the government and they want justice for the General and punishment for everyone involved in this crime. And yes, that means all the way to the top. The DOJ, FBI and intelligence agencies should be held to the highest standards and so far, they have become nothing more than the arm of punishment by the democrat party. We cannot ignore this regardless who is found to be involved. In order to restore the trust of the American people in their government, individuals must be held responsible regardless of the positions they hold which will be the ultimate test of the principle of equality under the law. We will soon find out if, indeed, no man is above the law.

If AG Barr is serious about equal justice, he will answer the question of whether a “sitting President has to be impeached before being indicted for crimes committed in office. Obama is no longer a sitting president, and federal criminal and civil laws supposedly now apply to him. If Barr and Durham know how to uncover a criminal conspiracy, they will have to realize, if they haven’t already, that Obama was the head of this federal crime syndicate, with the weak officials of the FBI, DoJ, CIA, State and the IRS all following Barry’s illegal orders. So, please pursue these scandals to the top, not to mid level lackeys.
Article also makes clear that not only does FBI Director Wray have to be dismissed for his obstruction but also “Trump’s CIA Director Gina Haspel, who apparently ran the overseas parts of the “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation” of candidate and then President Trump. As if Trump doesn’t have enough to do at the moment with the Wuhan flu and our grounded economy.

Comey is a big stupid bully who would not have made a decent street cop. Unfortunately, law enforcement draws that type.

Mr. Comey said he couldn't have "gotten away" with his entrapment of Flynn in an more organized "investigation" then caught himself and corrected to "administration."
Mr. Comey, who's job is it to serve as the custodian of process and protocol for a new administration? What POTUS in history walked in on day 1 knowing all of the machinations and details of how everything works in DC?
Your job Mr. Comey was to uphold the duties of your office and to build a bridge between the old and new administration but you Mr. Comey chose to see what you could "Get Away With." I wish you had the spine to face me and let me speak these words directly to your smirking face.
You just reinforced the lesson that transparency and openness will lead abuse.

Here's what really needs to happen. There has to be much more written about it. If only Peggy Noonan, Howie Kurtz and of course, Andy McCarthy write a few dozen more articles that discover that something bad happened in the FBI and that it was not good, and that the FBI did things that appear to be corrupt and that they should be investigated further and further and further, ad infinitum, THEN more oceans of ink would be spilled. Oh, yeah, and throw in Trey Gowdy and Ms Graham to look into cameras with furled brows to make it real clear that they are concerned. If only that could happen, Flynn, Carter Page, Roger Stone, George Papadopoulos, et al could be encouraged that although their lives are still destroyed and will always be destroyed because the FBI and the CIA and the DOJ illegally destroyed their lives, then even more oceans of spilled ink and electrons could happen ad infinitum. Hell, they could even throw in the need to wash our hands like banks, car dealerships, online retail stores, news reporters, utility companies, Walmart, gas stations AND our mothers keep reminding us. Ooooh, and we could also spend another 45 million on a blue ribbon committee to see if anything bad happened. That ought to do it.

Until someone gets indicted over this, no one has been indicted over this.
And about 50 people need to go to jail over this, with BHO leading the parade.

Flynn did it to himself...either he lied to the FBI after foolishly talking to them without at least a notetaking witness, he lied to Mike Pence, or he lied to the court in confessing a crime he did not commit. Take your pick.
The man was the victim of hubris moreso than FBI threats to prosecute his son. He is the very model of the modern retired general, hardly the epitome of death before dishonor.

#8, he doesn’t. I can’t remember all of the details but he gave up his security clearance over some sort of legal technicality which would have exposed more of his evil deeds had he kept it.

Indictments, and hopefully convictions, would only be a first step.
There is a deeply serious institutional problems with the DOJ, FBI, and intelligence agencies that they could be so perverted in the first and that they are STILL trying to cover it up. There needs to be a HARSH institutional house cleaning. Anyone who has prevented evidence of criminal behavior from being released needs to be removed from their position as aiding and abetting the criminal acts. They claim the don't want to expose methods of investigation but it has come to the point where the agencies are more damaging than many of the criminals they investigate. These agencies attempted to suborne an election and the presidency of someone they despised. Sum up all the work that these agencies have done in the past 8 years and the damage that the people they investigated might have done and it will not total up to the damage the agencies themselves have done to our democracy. THEY have become the Enemy of the United States and the American People and we need to FIX that so that it will not happen again. In their current state, the DOJ, FBI, and intelligence agencies are a THREAT to us. Protecting the "agencies" is not a consideration. FIX them or burn them down and start anew.

If Trump is not re-elected an occurrence that would be a bad bet at the moment, Barr and Durham have only six months left to complete their investigations. Some believe that Joseph Biden is only a stalking horse to give the Democrats cover up to their National Convention in August, and that the real Democrat ticket will emerge after the Democrat convention will consist of Hillary Clinton for President and Barack Obama for Vice-President. You don’t have to be a genus to figure out that if they are elected President and Vice-President, that the supposed on-going investigations being conducted by Barr and Durham would immediately be halted, and to “heal America” anyone even remotely connected to the Hillary Clinton crew created “Russia hoax” and its off shoots would be immediately pardoned by Clinton. If that occurs, to anyone across the world who has been paying attention, America would look like one giant fool, with the Russian state intelligence services that planted the false information regarding President Trump in the so-called bogus “Steele” Dossier laughing their asses off.

Exciting News!
Lindsey Graham told Maria Bartiromo yesterday that he's definitely going to call witnesses before his committee!
Yes - - he's going to do it - - he really is - - but - - but not before Barr, Durham, Jensen, and Huber wrap up their investigations. But just you wait and see - - he WILL have hearings!

#12, there are issues beyond whether Flynn lied. Lying to the FBI is essentially an obstruction of justice. Otherwise, there would be First Amendment issues. If someone lied about something immaterial to an investigation, like their age, for instance, they would not violate the statute. With Flynn, they were allegedly investigating a Logan Act violation. They had concluded there was no basis for the investigation and that the case should be closed. But the higher-ups reopened it. The Logan Act is a 1799 law that has no one has ever been prosecuted under and that is widely considered unconstitutional. The meeting with Flynn was a set-up, not based on a legitimate investigation of a crime but for the purpose of getting him to lie. Flynn may have been wrong to lie, but his lying was not a crime.

The FBI should be disbanded, their awful building demolished and sown with salt. The 99% of them are Socialist-Marxist puppets, unlike what Hannity believes. Not a single G-man has risen to defend the rule of law for our President Donald Trump.

So apparently our law enforcement agencies, especially the once premiere FBI, and out intel agencies along with the CDC, NIH/NIAID, etc no longer believe in or care about actual, factual evidence to back up anything they do that screws their enemies/We the People over.

Comey, a latter day Pinkerton, isn't good enough to oversee President Lincoln's bodyguard at Ford's Theater, John Parker’s record as a cop fell somewhere between pathetic and comical. But at that he was eons above Comey in morality and ability..

Until these people are behind prison bars, there is no reason for any other traitors inside the government to change how they operate.
This IS the new normal unless we put about 3 dozen of these traitors in prison for long periods, cancel their pensions and hit them with fines which require them to sell their homes and become penniless.

The more I read the name, "John Durham," it increasingly appears to be a form of urban legend creation in which some self-styled conservative "thought leaders" decided the conservative masses must believe.
