A Tale of Two Governors
and Two State Re-openings

Original Article

This is a tale, not of two cities, but of two states, and two governors. Both states began reopening their economies last week as the worst of the Chinese flu appears to be over, except for a few isolated hotspots. Both states are reopening in a similar fashion, taking baby steps rather than a full gallop. One state is Georgia, the other is Colorado. (snip) Media reaction was anything but comparable or reasonable. The Guardian calls the decision racist with this headline, “Georgia's Covid-19 reopening pits white governor against black mayors.” CNN parrots the racist angle with this headline, “Black leaders say reopening Georgia is an attack on people of color.”

Bottom line. Every republican is racist to a black democrat politician. The truth is, democrats are taking their marching orders from some moran to use the COVID 19 as a chance to shout racism and to keep this lockdown going forever. It's not working because people are starting to revolt. In some cases, it is not going to end pretty. I read in a few articles this morning that both the police and sheriffs will not enforce the lockdown orders. It's starting and the people will remember and I don't see the democrats winning as many Governor seats for a long time. One reason that I'm thinking they want this lockdown to last till November is the election. They so want mail in ballots because it is easy for them to cheat. That is the only way they can win.

I agree that this isn't going to end pretty at all. I suspect that democrat governors and legislatures are going to face the full fury of angry normal voters who are sick to death of this garbage that they are unconstitutionally foisting on their residents. This is a death blow to the democrat party, but thanks to the tone deafness of Pelosi, Perez, Schumer and all the rest, they are going to ignore the message.

That’s not the only difference between the two governors. Kemp treated the citizens of Georgia as adults. He let them make up their own minds. Polis is a typical progressive, talking down to the citizens of Colorado as if they were all eight years old. He kept saying “this is not a vacation!” as if someone forced to stay home without a paycheck didn’t already know that. He gave press briefings talking about how “we’re on the bunny slope” when the state reopened. I think he wanted to keep his orders in place for a longer period, but when he looked out his window one day at all the demonstrators, he backed down.

If we presume that Joe Biden’s pace of mental decline doe not reverse direction, the Democrats will be stuck with an embarrassment leading them into disaster in November. Unless there is vote fraud on a massive scale, Americans will not hand the fate of the Republic to Grandpa Simpson (snip) There are contributing factors, his flacking for China as his son reaped ten-figure backing from the Communists, and his sexual harassment issues most prominently (for now). But the wiser and wilier among the DNC’s power elite know that they will not be able to hide Biden’s mental infirmity all the way to November third.

Andrew McCarthy, writing in the National Review, outlined the case that the FBI, under the direction of James Comey, working through Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Andrew McCabe, and others, set up General Michael Flynn for a perjury trap. (snip) Comey must be prosecuted. He violated the constitutional rights of General Flynn and tried to remove a duly elected U.S. president. He prosecuted and persecuted an innocent man, General Flynn, for political purposes because he believes he knows better than the American voters who elected President Trump. A prosecution is necessary to get to the truth of whether Comey acted independently or was following explicit or implicit orders.

If there was any doubt that Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn was Target Zero in the Russia Collision conspiracy or that President Barack Obama was an active co-conspirator, presidential counselor Kellyanne Conway put those doubts to bed last week. (snip) Flynn almost assuredly became Target Zero for his willingness to expose and undo what Obama considered his signature foreign policy achievement, the Iran nuclear deal. Obama may have suspected that the deal was fatally flawed, but there was one thing he knew, namely that the deal was built on a framework of lies and deceptions.

It was 1793. George Washington was President. Philadelphia was the U.S. capital. Dr. Benjamin Rush, a Philadelphia physician and former surgeon-general of Washington’s army, was the de facto head of the Department of Health of the new country. When a yellow-fever epidemic hit Philadelphia, President George Washington fled to Virginia. Dr. Rush stayed behind and worked hard to quarantine and treat the sick. But his treatment, according to Ron Chernow in his biography of Alexander Hamilton, probably did more harm than good

Saturday’s funniest headline was from the New York Times: “Investigate Tara Reade’s Allegations: Americans deserve to know more about a sexual assault accusation against the likely Democratic Party nominee.” (snip) President Trump, in the ultimate act of trolling, sided with Biden, telling him he should fight back: “I would just say to Joe Biden, ‘Just go out and fight it,'” Trump said in a podcast interview with Dan Bongino. “He’s going to have to make his own decision, I’m not going to be telling him what to do. Biden is going to have to go out and fight his own battles.”

Friday morning, Joe Biden sat down for an interview with Mika Brzezinski on MSNBC’s Morning Joe. Mika asked some hard-hitting questions about Tara Reade’s allegation that Biden sexually assaulted her in 1993. Biden looked unusually alert and tracked fairly well for most of the interview until he got tired and confused (at the 14-minute mark). More disturbing than that, though, were the misrepresentations and elisions that made it appear as if he were answering the questions when, in fact, he wasn’t. Most surprisingly, Biden insisted that it would be better for him if nobody could see his records before the election.

The awful truth is dawning on too many Democrats: Joe Biden is too ravaged by mental infirmities and is too compromised in his treatment of women to be able to hold together their coalition and avert disaster at the polls in November. (snip) Planned Parenthood finally took a position on the allegations of sexual assault lodged against Joe Biden (D) after weeks of silence, with Planned Parenthood Action’s acting president stating that survivors “should be heard, listened to, [and] taken seriously” and calling for the Democrat Party’s presumptive nominee to “address this allegation directly.”

Key to the ambush interview of Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn that set him up for prosecution and persecution on made-up charges by James Comey’s FBI was the advice given to Flynn by Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe -- relax, you won’t need a lawyer. Flynn had to be caught off guard and without legal counsel for the entrapment plan to work (snip) McCabe had a personal animus towards Flynn which goes way back, possibly originating in Flynn’s offer to be a witness in a legal proceeding filed against McCabe.

It is an increasingly common statement, in comments sections, in social media posts and from callers on talk radio programs, “I think I had COVID-19 back in [name your month].” This is an important phenomenon for public policy. If they believed the experts, if they trusted what their governments had told them, then would people make that statement? Governments around the world saw COVID-19 start in early March and shuttered their economies, claiming it necessary to stop its spread. To ponder if one had COVID-19 before March is to doubt that narrative, and that pondering is amplified by those who tested positive for COVID-19 antibodies.

Two classes, the rulers and the ruled, constitute the society that the left requires. This is absolute evil, and it is the way the world has functioned for centuries.
