The economics director at President George W. Bush’s advocacy center slammed President Donald Trump’s popular, pro-American immigration policy. The May 1 slam came just before Bush posted a May 2 video urging national unity in the coronavirus crash that has pushed more than 25 million Americans out of jobs.“The most important thing to remember in this is that we don’t want [Trump’s] temporary policy to become permanent immigration policy,” economic director Laura Collins said a video posted on the center’s Twitter account. She continued.. We know immigrants are good for the economy. We know they’re good for our culture.

No, we don't. Didn't you learn this when your big amnesty bill failed to pass in Congress?

.Looks like the Bushes didn't learn a thing from Heb's humiliating loss in 2016. The country agrees with Trump. Notice how they don't make a distinction between legal and illegal immigrants. All illegals bring to this country is a permanent underclass and wards of the state. Highly skilled workers are a different story, but even those take tech jobs away from citizens.

Bush never had a word to say about the 8 years of destruction Obama brought to the WH. How dare he weigh in now in direct opposition to the vast majority of the country?

Why is more immigration so important to Laura Collins? To those that immigration is important to, I as that they bear all the cost, including housing, medical, schooling, maintenance---and not shift all those costs to the taxpayer, like the businesses have been doing for years.

Less migration = fewer diseases released inside the US. We are once again seeing outbreaks of illnesses that we eradicated decades ago. Brought into the country by these migrants.

Notice this little gem from the Bush Center came out on May 1, just one day ahead of ex-president Bush's saccharine and sappy call for bipartisanship. I'm glad President Trump tweeted the twit out of the water. I thought I would never agree with Revruund Jaacksonn, but we need to stay out of the bushes...unless we've got a chain saw in our hands.

The last time I ever voted for a Bush was for him in 2004.
No more Bushes ... and I've had at least five times to prove it since I voted against nephew George P. four times and his daddy in the 2016 Texas primary.

The Bushes are investor class globalists, and it was runaway globalism with China that allowed the novel corona virus to be insidiously imported into the USA by way of the tremendous amount of air travel between China and the USA, that President Trump stopped in January with Biden and the Democrats calling Trump a racist and a xenophobe. Trump could only stop foreigners from entering the USA, but had no lawful authority to stop large numbers of returning US citizens from reentering the USA.

Who elected her? Americans are strongly opposed to further immigration, and don't even want the illegals to stay. Our culture does not need any further enrichment, nor do we need any more people when 20% of Americans are out of work.

Nothing like calling for unity by calling for going against the current President. The Bush family is too chummy with the Obama crowd to trust anything they say.

Just when black and Hispanic Americans were feeling the embrace of full employment, these idiots ruin the economy and want to bring in more low wage serfs to live on the democrat plantation. It makes no sense for a nation to self-wound so that a few at the top can profit.
