Republicans in the Senate are under growing pressure to take the administration to task for its response to the coronavirus.
GOP senators, with a few exceptions, have been reluctant to criticize the administration, but they are starting to re-evaluate that kid-glove treatment amid public frustration over the lack of virus testing kits and protective equipment and reports of taxpayer dollars going to questionable causes.
Pressure from whom?

Here's a thought: how about the GOP start paying attention to its conservative voices and the people who elected them instead of busily lining their own pockets with tax dollars and inside information? Lack of testing kits? How is that Trump's fault? Same with PPE and as far as $$$ going to questionable causes, where is the GOP's spine in standing up to Pelosi and Schumer for the billions of dollars of pork they larded onto the supposed pandemic relief bills? The GOP would do better to get more in alignment with Trump's leadership and help navigate a way out of this mess before things get really ugly.

This article isn't news, it's a blatant anti-Trump attack.
The GOP better listen to it's voters and not this blatantly biased media lapdog.

This article has no news content or value. Trump enjoys a 90 percent plus approval in the Republican base. Even malcontents like Willard and Susan Collins are wary of that. Its curious how this article and the one above appear simultaneously.

There is a concerted effort underfoot right now to attack and undermine the president. The NRSC is doing this also. Let them know how you feel! (202) 675-6000. We must not let this stand!
Chair: Sen. Todd Young, R-Indiana; Exec. Dir.: Kevin McLaughlin
Personally I think this is related to the exposure of Spygate and also China.
If the President had not taken the steps to attack this virus in every way possible we would have had Katrina x 1,000,000. He has done an excellent job. Beyond human.

Pressure from the Swamp is what Trump has been dealing with since he began running for election. So, new?
We the People are in two camps: the whiney, hide under our bed as we listen to Democrat talking points, and those willing to take prepared risks to get things going again.
I know where I am, and it ain't under the damn bed!!

To be effective to a level to satisfy Ds and media (but I repeat myself) , testing must be done on every person,... every day.
Got a billion test kits laying around ? That's enough for a couple of weeks.
Testing is mostly useless, stupid, and obviously impossible. Testing ID's the number of cases which is irrelevant, except to foment more fear and further lockdowns.

Surely the Low-T Republican Senators know they are playing with fire if they "get tough" with President Trump. But then again...maybe not. I'm with #1: Pressure from whom?????!!

Get on board with Trump would be the right answer. But how often has the GOP found the right answer pre-Trump?
They PRETENDED, but it was clear that their hearts were never in it. They really wanted to be Dems.

Since it is a most likely scenario that Obamabots were still in place at the CDC, stories alleging that some kind of lab contamination held up the testing kits could be valid. They are going to undermine Trump, even at the expense of the public in this nation. Would not surprise me if Romney is dripping his toxic poison into as many Senate ears as he can, trying to foment rebellion among the senate members.
