Radical congresswoman Ilhan Omar is on track to pay her new husband's company nearly double the half million dollars she funneled his way last year, new figures obtained by DailyMail.com show. In the first three months of this year Omar paid more than $290,000 to the E Street Group, a fundraising and consulting group run by Tim Mynett, who she married last month. If she continues at this rate it will mean the company would get a whopping $1.16 million from Omar's campaign in 2020. It received a total of $523,000 for the whole of last year. It's good to be a crook in Congress. Remember that old Eddie Murphy movie, "The Distinguished Gentleman" where a local con-man gets elected to Congress (the sitting congresscritter kicked the bucket and Eddie's character had the same name) and he is amazed at how crooked Congressmen were ... even more crooked than a con-man. And then there's brother-marrying, home-wrecker Omar.

The coronavirus has given criminals a new deadly weapon: saliva. Spit-slinging sickos are declaring they are infected with COVID-19 and spraying their targets with sneezes, coughs or sputum. “Bitch, now you have coronavirus,” Jason Mason, 28, told four NYPD officers last Wednesday as he spit on them from inside a holding cell, police said. Cops said he was collared after being caught with a knife in a suspected drug deal. In a possible hate attack, three Hasidic teens purposely sneezed on Muslim firefighter Omar Sattar in Borough Park last month, The Post learned. Sattar tested positive nine days after the incident,

More than 20 million Americans lack “meaningful broadband service” as people turn to the internet for school and work during the coronavirus crisis, Virginia Sen. Mark Warner warned federal regulators. “Under the current circumstances, this lack of broadband access threatens to greatly—and potentially lastingly—exacerbate disparities in health, education and economic equity,” said Mr. Warner, a Democrat, in a letter to Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai on Thursday. He noted that 770,000 Virginians don’t have broadband access. Mr. Warner urged the FCC to take immediate steps to help close the “digital divide,” including relaxing restrictions on signal contours in rural and exurban areas,

Sen. Tom Cotton said today communist China paid “bribes” to Ethiopia when World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom was a cabinet minister there. In 2017, the WHO spoke of a “strategic partnership” with China as Mr. Tedros prepared to travel to Beijing to cement ties as one of his first acts as new director-general. Mr. Cotton, Arkansas Republican, is a fierce critic of Beijing for what he says is an unprecedented coverup of a health catastrophe that has killed thousands globally. He offered the Ethiopian history as a way to explain Mr. Tedros‘ continued defense of China.

Popular dairy brand Land O’Lakes quietly changed its packaging to remove its iconic Indian maiden image, it was revealed Wednesday. The new packaging has already started to appear in stores and looks similar to the previous branding with an image of lake and trees—except without Mia, the kneeling woman featured in the center, the Minnesota Reformer reported. “We’ve recognized we need packaging that reflects the foundation and heart of our company culture—and nothing does that better than our farmer-owners whose milk is used to produce Land O’Lakes’ dairy products,” said Beth Ford, President and CEO of Land O’Lakes, in a February press release.

There is increasing confidence that COVID-19 likely originated in a Wuhan laboratory not as a bioweapon, but as part of China's effort to demonstrate that its efforts to identify and combat viruses are equal to or greater than the capabilities of the United States, multiple sources who have been briefed on the details of early actions by China's government and seen relevant materials tell Fox News. This may be the "costliest government coverup of all time," one of the sources said. The sources believe the initial transmission of the virus was bat-to-human, and that "patient zero" worked at the laboratory,

President Trump’s campaign says former Vice President Joe Biden is not up for the job, taking a swing at his 2020 rival for calling the coronavirus that’s shut down the country for several weeks “COVID-9.” The accurate name, which has been repeated on broadcasts daily for more than a month, is COVID-19, named after the year it originated, 2019. “Joe Biden masquerades as the guy with all the answers on the coronavirus but then he demonstrates quite clearly that he has no idea what he’s talking about,” said Tim Murtaugh, Trump 2020 communications director. The criticism comes after Mr. Biden was caught on video

Two Democratic congressmen have proposed expanding the coronavirus relief program to give Americans $2,000 a month until the economy recovers. The checks would go to individuals making less than $130,000 or couples who earn less than $260,000 and would be steady source of income, unlike the first round of individual checks, which, at up to $1,200, were a one-time deposit. The money would cease when unemployment returns to its pre-coronavirus levels. Representatives Tim Ryan of Ohio and Ro Khanna of California said their Emergency Money for the People Act would provide more relief as workers face pay cuts, layoffs and furloughs
